This information processing system processes information through communication between a first information processing device and a second information processing device. The second information processing device has a recording unit and a control unit. The recording unit records a first OS and a second OS. The control unit selects one of the first OS and the second OS, according to a connection state with the first information processing device. The control unit controls the second information processing device or a combination of the first information processing device and the second information processing device, using the OS selected here.

A notebook computeris provided with: a casing in which a CPU is accommodated; a heat-dissipating componenthaving a plurality of fins; and a fan, and operates such that heat transferred from the CPU to the heat-dissipating componentis heat-exchanged with air supplied from the fan, and released to the exterior of the casing. The heat-dissipating componentis disposed at an air outletof the fan. An openingis formed, between the air outletand a fan main unit, in a fan case. First shutter meansis provided on a discharge outlet surface of the heat-dissipating component. With this structure, increase in cost and weight can be restrained, and dust on the heat-dissipating component can be removed with a simplified structure.

Electronic device

In the electronic device, an inletis provided on a front faceof a first housing. Thus, it is possible to reduce the possibility of the inletbeing blocked by objects. That is, when a user uses a notebook computer in a normal position, his body opposes the front facein many cases. Thus, when the inlet is provided on the front face, the inlet is less likely to be blocked than when it is provided on any other face of the first housing. For this reason, the cooling efficiency within the first housingdoes not drop.

An electronic device includes: a casing in which electronic components including a heat-emitting component which emits heat during operation are accommodated; a heat-dissipating component including a plurality of fins to which heat emitted in the heat-emitting component transfers; a fan operable to supply cooling air to the heat-dissipating component; and a cleaning component movable on an end surface of the fins along the side nearer the fan with the cleaning component abutting against the end surface of the fins. In these features, dust on the end surface of the fins can be automatically removed by moving the cleaning component in the case of the spatial orientation of the electronic device being changed. Therefore, an effect of removing heat emitted in the heat-emitting components, by using cooling air supplied from the fan, can be continuously obtained.
