A saddle-ride three-wheeled vehicle has a fuel cell which generates an electric power by a chemical reaction between a fuel gas and a reaction gas. The three-wheeled vehicle includes a drain pipe which guides water discharged from the fuel cell out of a vehicle body; a rear body to which a pair of left and right rear wheels are journaled; and a linking mechanism which swingably links the rear body and a front body to allow the front body to sway left and right with respect to the rear body, wherein the drain pipe has a drain port between the pair of left and right rear wheels.

An electric motorcycle includes a power drive unit and a driving power generating motor which are mounted to a swing arm swinging about a pivot shaft in an upward-and-downward direction. A rear wheel WR is driven by the power generating motor. The electric motorcycle includes a battery to supply electric power to the power generating motor. A center of gravity (BC) of the battery is located at the side opposite to the power drive unit and the power generating motor about a central line CX of a motorcycle body.

A saddle riding type fuel cell vehicle includes a fuel cell that generates power by a chemical reaction between a fuel gas and a reactive gas with radiators that cool cooling water of the fuel cell. The radiators are adjacently arranged in right and left sides of the fuel cell in a vehicle width direction. Each outer end surface of the radiators, outside in a vehicle width direction, is positioned closer to the front side of a vehicle body than each inner end surface inside in the vehicle width direction. Thus, each plane portion, which receives an air flow, is inclined to the inner side of the vehicle body, and air courses, which allow an air flow to be passed to the rear side of the vehicle body, are each formed between the inner end surface of each of the radiators and each side surface of the fuel cell.

A saddle seat type fuel-cell electric vehicle includes a body frame having a pair of right and left main frames connected at their front ends to a head pipe and extending downward therefrom and a pair of right and left under frames connected at their front ends to the head pipe and extending downward therefrom along the right and left main frames on the lower side thereof. A pair of hydrogen cylinders extend substantially vertically along the body frame between the front side of the head pipe and the front side of the front end portion of the footrest so as to interpose the body frame in the lateral direction of the vehicle. A fuel supply unit is provided in a space surrounded by the main frames and the under frames with the hydrogen cylinders being surrounded by a guard pipe connected to the main frames.

In a bicycle transmission, a driven sprocket wheel body includes a plurality of driven sprocket wheels which are connected with a drive sprocket wheel by an endless chain. A derailleur is provided for changing over the winding of the endless chain among the plurality of driven sprocket wheels. The drive sprocket wheel is prevented from moving beyond a given range even when an excessive external force is applied to the drive sprocket wheel at the time of traveling. A slide member is movable in the axial direction of a drive shaft and is provided between the drive shaft and a drive sprocket wheel. A drive sprocket wheel movement restricting member is provided which sandwiches the drive sprocket wheel position setting member and moves in the axial direction of the drive shaft together with the drive sprocket wheel.

A driven shaft and an intermediate shaft are linked to each other and are disposed to be substantially parallel with respect to each other. A control unit for a motor-assisted vehicle such as a bicycle is disclosed that effectively provides an assist drive power to a motor-assisted bicycle during a period of initial pedaling or startup on an upward slope or at the time of acceleration. A first detection signal is outputted when a vehicle speed is equal to or less than a predetermined vehicle speed. A second detection signal is outputted when acceleration is equal to or more than a predetermined value on the basis of a change in the amount of the vehicle speed. A road surface inclination is determined from a map on the basis of a ratio between an actual running resistance and a flat road running resistance. A coefficient K is retrieved form the map corresponding to either the first detection signal or the second detection signal to increase the assist power from the map on the basis of the vehicle speed. The coefficient K is inputted into an assist power calculating portion, and the required assist drive power is calculated.

This invention relates to a remote lock operation apparatus for a light vehicle without a cabin and having two, three, or four wheels. One objective of the invention is to make it possible for the infrared receiver of a remote lock operation apparatus to cover a range of directivity without being influenced by a seat or a vehicle body rear portion. Another objective is limit the design of the remote lock apparatus to as few as one infrared receiver, thereby reducing the burden to a vehicle battery. In this invention, an infrared receiver is disposed at the center of a vehicle body front half portion in a vehicle widthwise direction with a reception face thereof directed rearwardly. Further, the receiver is placed at a height at which reception of an infrared signal emitted from rearwardly is not disturbed by a vehicle accessory or a vehicle body rear portion on the rear side with respect to the receiver.

Remote lock operation apparatus for light vehicle

A rear wheel suspension system for a four-wheeled vehicle suitable for attaining vehicle weight reduction, setting weight distribution of the vehicle, improving vehicle design freedom, and decreasing the number of components as compared to conventional rear wheel suspension systems. The system includes a joint member mounted in a rear portion of a vehicle body with a pair of left and right front wheels secured thereto, the joint member including a roll shaft extending substantially in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle body, and connecting to a vertical swing shaft extending in the transverse direction of the vehicle body. In addition, a power unit for supporting the two rear wheels is connected to a rear portion of the joint member by means of the vertical swing shaft, thereby allowing the power unit to be secured to the vehicle body rollably and swingably.

A beach cleaner for recovering waste while traveling in a towed state by a traction vehicle. A grating-like portion scoops up waste present in front of the beach cleaner as the beach cleaner is moved. A rotor is disposed on an upper side of the grating-like portion and is adapted to rotate so that a lower portion thereof moves rearwardly. The rotor is mounted on a rotary shaft extending in the transverse direction of the beach cleaner. Waste is delivered rearwardly between the rotor and the grating-like portion. With travel of the beach cleaner, waste present in front of the beach cleaner is scooped up onto the grating-like portion and sand which is scooped up together with the waste is allowed to drop through gaps in the grating-like portion.

Beach cleaner

A beach cleaner for recovering waste while being towed by a traction vehicle. The beach cleaner includes a grating-like portion for scooping up waste present in front of the beach cleaner as the beach cleaner is moved. The grating-like portion is inclined so that the front side thereof assumes a lower position. A rotor is disposed on an upper side of the grating-like portion and for rotation so that a lower portion thereof moves rearwardly. The rotor is centered on a rotary shaft extending in the transverse direction of the vehicle. The rotor delivers the waste rearwardly between the rotor and the grating-like portion. A reticulate portion is formed behind the grating-like portion. The reticulate portion is inclined so that the rear side thereof is located at a lower position to hold waste. With movement of the beach cleaner, waste present in front of the beach cleaner is scooped up onto the grating-like portion and sand which is scooped up together with the waste is allowed to drop through gaps in the grating-like portion.

A vehicular windshield is provided which eliminates the need for a hard coating and which is relatively light in weight. The vehicular windshield includes a glass surface to be wiped by a wiper, and includes a transparent resin windshield main body. The windshield main body has upper and lower mounting portions for mounting the windshield main body to a roof and a front frame of a vehicle. A glass plate is fastened to the windshield main body to form the surface for a wiper. An adhesive sheet is provided for fastening the glass plate to the windshield main body.

To reduce the cost of a front wheel steering system for automotive three- and four-wheeled vehicles by utilizing a steering angle ratio varying means having a simple construction. In a front wheel steering system for automotive four-wheeled vehicles, a steering shaft rotatably mounted to a head pipe steers the right and left front wheels. The steering stem is disposed below the steering shaft offset from the steering shaft. The steering stem is connected to the steering shaft via a link mechanism. The right and left front wheels are connected to the steering stem via a tie rod. The link mechanism includes an upper link, a lower link, and a universal coupling connecting the upper link and the lower link. The steering shaft is disposed at the midsection between the steering stem and the universal coupling when the link mechanism is viewed in the direction of the axis of the steering shaft.
