The present disclosure provides a flow battery comprising a flexible lithium ion conductive film having durability against a highly reductive non-aqueous electrolyte liquid. The flow battery according to the present disclosure comprises a first non-aqueous electrolyte liquid, a first electrode, a second electrode, and a lithium ion conductive film. The first non-aqueous electrolyte liquid contains lithium ions and further biphenyl, phenanthrene, stilbene, triphenylene, anthracene, acenaphthene, acenaphthylene, fluorene, fluoranthene, o-terphenyl, m-terphenyl, or p-terphenyl. The lithium ion conductive film comprises a composite body. The composite body contains a lithium ion conductive polymer and polyvinylidene fluoride. The lithium ion conductive polymer includes an aromatic ring into which a lithium salt of an acidic group has been introduced. The lithium ion conductive polymer and the polyvinylidene fluoride have been mixed with each other homogeneously in the composite body.

Non-aqueous flow battery with lithium ion conductive film

A flow battery includes: a first liquid containing a first nonaqueous solvent; a first electrode that is at least partly immersed in the first liquid; a second electrode which is a counter electrode to the first electrode; and a separator isolating the first electrode from the second electrode. The separator contains a lithium ion conductor. The lithium ion conductor contains a compound including main chains. At least one main chain of the main chains includes one or more aromatic rings and is cross-linked to at least another main chain of the main chains. At least one aromatic ring of the one or more aromatic rings includes one or more sulfo groups.

Flow battery containing lithium ion conductor

The flow battery according to the present disclosure comprises a first non-aqueous liquid, a first electrode in contact with the first non-aqueous liquid, a second electrode which serves as a counter electrode of the first electrode, and a lithium ion conductive film which separates the first electrode and the second electrode from each other. The lithium ion conductive film is formed of a polymer base material containing an ionic polymer. The polymer base material has an interspace which communicates with an outside thereof. The polymer base material is formed of at least one kind of resin selected from the group consisting of a thermosetting resin and a thermoplastic resin which has a melting point of not less than 150 degrees Celsius. Flow battery

A strobe device comprising a circuit substrate including a plurality of conductive elastic members. The plurality of conductive elastic members includes a first portion forming a predetermined electric circuitry. A second portion, if present, forms various electrical contacts external to the circuit substrate, e.g., a battery contact. A third portion, if present, elastically retains terminals of electronic elements and functions as an electrical contact. An insulation member having a first surface integrally internalizing the plurality of conductive elastic members in such a manner that the second portion and third portion are exposed. Further, the electronic elements and the optical elements are electrically and/or mechanically coupled to the circuit substrate via the plurality of conductive elastic members and the insulation member. The third portion is provided entirely within the insulation member when elastically retaining terminals of the electronic elements.

An emission angle variable flash apparatus of the invention alters an angular aperture to be formed by side reflection plates disposed oppositely to both side surfaces of a reflector in linkage with a change of a distance between a Xe tube and a reflector on their optical axis, thereby enhancing the efficiency of utilization of flash from a light source and expanding a variable range of an emission angle in the horizontal direction. As a result, the emission angle variable flash apparatus of the invention is made smaller in size than in the prior art.
