A bumper reinforcement includes a main body made of metal, a reinforcing channel member, and a resin block. A mounting portion of a crash box is formed at a vicinity of each end of the main body. The reinforcing channel member includes a web, an upper flange and a lower flange that are placed on an outer panel, an upper panel and a lower panel of the main body at the mounting portion of the crash box, respectively. The reinforcing channel member is extended outward from the each end of the main body. The resin block is provided on an inner face of the reinforcing channel member. The resin block is contact with or joined to the outer panel and an inner panel of the main body at each end of the main body and extended from the each end to an outer edge of the reinforcing channel member.

Bumper reinforcement

A vehicle bumper is provided integrally to include metal beam-extension portions on both right-and-left end sides of a metal bumper-beam portion. In this vehicle bumper, the bumper-beam portion and the beam-extension portion include a vertical wall portion, an upper wall portion and a lower wall portion, and a resin reinforcing rib is joined to inner surfaces of a void formed of each of the wall portions. In addition, in this vehicle bumper, an extension dimension of the upper wall portion and the lower wall portion of the beam-extension portion is larger than an extension dimension of the upper wall portion and the lower wall portion in the bumper-beam portion, the resin reinforcing rib in the beam-extension portion is joined to the vertical wall portion, the upper wall portion, and the lower wall portion of the beam-extension portion; and the stiffness of the bumper-beam portion is higher than the stiffness of the beam-extension portion.

A vehicle body structure includes a resin floor part provided with a flange portion bent toward an upper side or a lower side at an end in a vehicle width direction, and a metal side sill part joined to the flange portion of the floor part. The side sill part includes a rim portion, a peak portion, and intermediate portions that link the rim portion to the peak portion. The peak portion and the intermediate portions form a protruding portion projecting from the rim portion toward the floor part. The flange portion of the floor part is joined to the peak portion of the protruding portion.

A high-pressure tank includes a container main body () constituted of a body () and dome portions () disposed on both ends of the body, and a reinforcing layer () formed such that a fiber member is wound around an outer periphery of the container main body. The reinforcing layer includes a hoop winding layer () formed by hoop winding that winds the fiber member such that a winding angle is approximately perpendicular to a central axis of the body, and a high helical winding layer () formed by high helical winding that winds the fiber member such that a winding angle is inclined with respect to the central axis compared with the hoop winding, and the high helical winding layer extends to the dome portion. The high helical winding layer includes a thick portion having a thickness at an outer side part of a boundary position between the body and the dome portion, which thickness is thicker than a thickness at a part positioned on the body. The hoop winding layer is formed from the body to the dome portion where the thick portion is formed, as a layer at an outer diameter side of the high helical winding layer.

A fuel cell system has a fuel cell for generating electricity by reacting a fuel gas with an oxidant gas and an exhaust flow passage for exhausting the fuel exhaust gas exhausted from a fuel electrodeof the fuel cell to the outside. The fuel cell system is equipped with a movable filter device disposed in the exhaust flow passage, so that by activating the movable filter device, water and foreign particles adhering to the filter are quickly scattered by rotational centrifugal force and vibration, thereby preventing the exhaust flow passage from being blocked by the clogging by water freeze and foreign particles and also reducing startup time.

Fuel cell system and method for operating same

A filter device disposed in a moist fluid passage of the fuel cell system includes a fluid introducing path which introduces a fluid that flows in the moist fluid passage, a filter to permeate the fluid introduced from the fluid introducing path and remove foreign matter in the fluid, a fluid discharge path which discharges a fluid that passed the filter, and a rotating driving mechanism, connected with the filter, that rotates the filter so that substances that adheres to the filter are removed by the centrifugal force. In the filter device, water does not adhere to and does not remain in the filter. When leaving the system under the low temperature after the system stops, blockage by freezing the filter can surely be prevented. The complex control and the heat source such as a heater for defrost is unnecessary. Thus, a cheap and compact filter device can be provided.
