Provided is an electric braking device wherein a friction member is pressed, via a piston driven by an electric motor, against a rotary member that rotates integrally with a vehicle wheel, thus generating a braking force on the vehicle wheel. The electric braking device is provided with: a controller for controlling the electric motor; a rotation angle sensor for detecting a rotation angle of the electric motor; and a return mechanism for applying a return force to a piston in a direction away from the rotary member. Furthermore, the controller executes a proper/improper determination to determine whether the return mechanism is operating properly on the basis of a change in the rotation angle after conduction of electricity to the electric motor is stopped.

Electric braking device for vehicle

This brake control device includes: an operation amount sensor which detects the brake operating member operation amount; front-wheel and rear-wheel actuators which generate braking force in front/rear wheels; front-wheel and rear-wheel sensors which detect the outputs of the front-wheel and rear-wheel actuators; and a controller which controls the front-wheel and rear-wheel actuators based on the operation amount and the outputs of the front and rear wheels. On the basis of the operation amount and/or the output of the rear wheels, the controller determines whether or not a long-term low-load state in which the friction member is continuously pressed against the rotary members of the rear wheels within a predetermined range over a long period of time is established. If so, the distribution ratio of the rear-wheel braking force to the total applied braking force is decreased compared to when a long-term low-load state is not determined to be established.

Brake control device for vehicles

A braking control device includes a first wheel cylinder on either the left or right front wheel side of a vehicle; a second wheel cylinder on the other side; a first pressure-regulating mechanism that pressurizes the brake fluid inside the first wheel cylinder; a second pressure-regulating mechanism that pressurizes brake fluid inside the second wheel cylinder; and a normally-closed opening/closing valve interposed in a connecting fluid path connecting the first wheel cylinder and the second wheel cylinder and in which, if a sudden operation is determined, the opening/closing valve is put in a connected state and increases the pressure of the brake fluid inside the first and second wheel cylinders by the first and second pressure-regulating mechanisms.

Braking control device for vehicle

Brake fluid inside a first wheel cylinder is pressurized by using a first pressure-regulating mechanism and brake fluid inside a second wheel cylinder is pressurized by using a second pressure-regulating mechanism. If a determination means determines that the first pressure-regulating mechanism action is in an unsuitable state and the second pressure-regulating mechanism action is in a suitable state, the control means pressurizes the brake fluid inside the first wheel cylinder by using a master cylinder and pressurizes the brake fluid inside the second wheel cylinder by using the second pressure-regulating mechanism, when an operation volume is less than a value. When the operation volume has reached the value, the control means pressurizes the brake fluid inside the first and second wheel cylinders by using the second pressure-regulating mechanism.

An electric brake control apparatus includes: a clamping force acquisition unit configured to acquire a clamping force generated by moving a piston toward a pad through rotation of a motor; a lower-limit clamping force acquisition unit configured to acquire a minimum value of the clamping force required to maintain a stopped state of the rotor; an upper-limit clamping force acquisition unit configured to acquire a maximum value of the clamping force to move the piston away from the pad through a power of a power supply while maintaining the stopped state of the rotor, based on a state of a power supply; and a clamping force control unit configured to control the motor such that the clamping force is confined between the minimum value and the maximum value.

Electric brake control apparatus

The present invention is provided with a power transmission member rotatably supported by a caliper, and a ratchet wheel fixed by the member. A first linear direction movement of a pawl member that engages with a mobile member of a solenoid is guided by a guide member fixed by the caliper. The pawl member is continuously pressed in a release direction by an elastic member. The interlocking force in an interlocking direction, imparted by mobile member of the solenoid mobile member to the pawl member, and the release force in the release direction, which is imparted by the elastic member to the pawl member oppose each other, and the interlocking force is larger than the release force. The pawl member and the mobile member move linearly together in one of the interlocking direction and the release direction.

The electric braking device is provided with: a pressing member, which has a thread portion with either an internal thread or an external thread and which applies a pressing force on a frictional member; a shaft member, which is rotated by an electric motor and is threadedly engaged with the thread portion; a first spherical surface member, which is separated from the shaft member, being capable of rotating relative to the shaft member around the axis of rotation of the shaft member, and the end surface of which is a spherical surface; and a second spherical surface member, which is in sliding contact with the spherical surface of the first spherical surface member, receives the reaction force of the pressing force, and is restrained from rotating with respect to the axis of rotation of the shaft member.

Electric vehicle braking device

A mount member is fixed to a support member by first and second fastening members, and a caliper is mounted to the mount member by first and second guide members. A motor axis of an electric motor and an axis of a shaft member configured to press a pressing member are different from each other. The electric motor is fixed to the caliper. When viewed from an axial direction of the first guide member, the motor axis is positioned inside a fastening quadrangle having four corners corresponding to positions of respective axes of, and is perpendicular to the axis, and the motor axis is orthogonal to a plane of the fastening quadrangle. As a result, there may be provided a vehicle electric braking device in which an axial direction dimension may be reduced to suppress an amplitude caused by vibration, and components sensitive to vibration influence are appropriately arranged.

Vehicle electric braking device

Rotational motion of a shaft member rotationally driven by a motor is converted by a screw member into translational motion of a pressing member. An outer periphery of a cap member is brought into slide contact with a first cylindrical part of the pressing member so that the cap member is relatively movable in an axial direction of the pressing member and is relatively unrotatable about its axis. An inner periphery of the cap member is brought into slide contact with a second cylindrical part of the shaft member so that the cap member is relatively movable in an axial direction of the shaft member and is relatively rotatable about its axis. The first cylindrical part, the second cylindrical part, and the cap member partition a storage chamber connected to one end of the screw member, and a lubricant for lubricating the screw member is filled inside the storage chamber.

There is provided an electric braking device for a vehicle, which includes a brake caliper which is provided to a wheel, a pressing member which is provided to the brake caliper and is driven to press a friction member to a rotary member fixed to the wheel, an electric motor which is a power source to drive the pressing member, an electric power/signal line which supplies electric power to the electric motor or allows a first electric circuit provided in a vehicle body to communicate with a second electric circuit provided in the brake caliper, and a connector which relays the electric power line. The connector includes a terminal joining portion which joins one terminal and another terminal to each other, and the one terminal and the another terminal are made of metal. The terminal joining portion is positioned inside the brake caliper.

A connector includes: a case-shaped attachment member including a through-hole; a first housing including a first fitting portion accommodating a first terminal; and a second housing including a second fitting portion accommodating a second terminal. The first housing includes an outer housing and an inner housing. The inner housing is assembled to be movable in the fitting direction and is provided with the first fitting portion. The inner housing is provided with a pressing rib. Between the pressing rib and outer housing, a second seal member is provided for sealing between the outer and inner housings. A restricting portion which comes into contact with the pressing rib to restrict movement of the pressing rib in the fitting direction is provided in a side of the through-hole closer to the inside of the attachment member.

Connector having a first seal and a second seal and a pressing rib

A vehicle brake control device is configured to correct deformation failure of a seal member and inhibit insufficient pullback of a pressing member caused by insufficient deformation of the seal member. Within a time period from a start of a lock operation to an end of the release operation, a W/C pressure is automatically increased and insufficient deformation of a seal member is corrected. It is thus possible to generate a large restoring force by the seal member when pulling back a piston, and the piston can be pulled back based on the restoring force. The piston is therefore sufficiently moved, and it is possible to inhibit insufficient piston pullback. Further, it is possible to cause a brake pad to be separated from a brake disc by a predetermined distance, and it is possible to inhibit a feeling of drag of a brake from being imparted to a driver.
