Provided is a simulation system capable of reducing a deviation that occurs in simulation results between a client and a server. In the simulation system, a server () notifies a client () of event information regarding behaviors of one or a plurality of objects, which is obtained as results of executing simulations, along with timing information indicating timings of the behaviors, and the client () executes, based on the event information notified from the server (), a simulation regarding behaviors of at least part of the objects. Also in the simulation system, the client () executes the simulation at a timing delayed from the execution of the simulation by the server (), and causes the behavior of the object corresponding to the event information to occur at a timing determined according to the timing information.

Simulation system

A virtual space management system includes: a plurality of space management servers for respectively managing a plurality of partial spaces obtained by dividing a virtual space; and a communication control server for relaying communication between at least one of the plurality of space management servers and a user terminal. Each space management server executes a process relating to a transition in which a position in the virtual space associated with the user terminal transitions from inside a partial space managed by another space management server to inside a partial space managed by the local space management server. The communication control server maintains communication connection with the user terminal during execution of the process relating to the transition, and changes a transmission destination of data received from the user terminal to the local space management server managing the partial space to which the transition has been made according to the transition.

A method for controlling gradation in an ink jet printer is provided which includes the steps of (a) reading input picture data in first memory means (b) determining the position of a pixel under consideration from the input picture data read out from the first memory means and for calculating an error .di-elect cons.=X-X', where X is input picture data of the pixel under consideration and X' is a level of plural stages to be actually printed, (c) distributing the error .di-elect cons. to surrounding pixels around the pixel under consideration, (d) replacing the input picture data of the surrounding pixels, to which the error has been distributed, based on the distributed error, (e) performing the steps (a) to (d) for all input picture data by way of dithering, (f) storing the dithered pixel data resulting from the step (e) in second memory means, (g) generating, from the dithered pixel data read out from the second memory means, output picture data controlling the ink dot diameter of each pixel, (h) D/A converting the output picture data and (i) impressing an output voltage resulting from D/A conversion across an electrostriction oscillator of the printing head for variably controlling the diameter of liquid droplets of the liquid ink discharged from the printing head.

Method and apparatus for controlling gradation in ink jet printer

A printer apparatus in which a multi-nozzle print head can be produced at low cost and which can deal with changes caused with lapse of time. With the printer apparatus, effective resolution can be improved and a more accurate gradation level in picture printing can be achieved for assuring uniform printing quality. The printer apparatus has a shading correction unit 14 for correcting the picture printing data signal for printing using shading correction data previously found and stored in the EE-PROM 10 and shading correction data entered from a man/machine interfacing unit 2 and for generating a head impression signal for driving a print head 16 based on the corrected picture printing data.
