A body weight adjustment mechanism for automatic adjustment to a balanced point is provided to improve vibration absorption characteristics and impact absorption characteristics. A torsion angle of a lower frame-side torsion bar when an upper frame is at a balanced point is found in advance, a torsion angle of the lower frame-side torsion bar in a state in which a person is seated is detected, the detected torsion angle is compared with the aforesaid balanced point torsion angle, a control signal is sent to an elastic force adjusting unit, and torsion angles of upper frame-side torsion bars are adjusted so that the torsion angle of the lower frame-side torsion bar becomes equal to the balanced point torsion angle. The upper frame can be set to an appropriate position in an initial state and a static state in which a person is seated and vibration and impact absorption characteristics are improved.

Seat suspension mechanism

Blood pressure is estimated in a non-constraining manner continuously and in real time. A biological signal collected from a person's dorsal part is analyzed, vibration in the human body ascribable to a blood flow rate change in a period from the ventricular filling period to the isovolumetric systole is captured, and the state of fluctuation of an index indicating the state of the in vivo vibration is further captured. This fluctuation index correlates with a person's blood pressure. Therefore, it is possible to estimate whether the blood pressure is in a range indicating a normal-range blood pressure or in a range indicating a high blood pressure, only by having the person sit or lie supine on a surface provided with a biological signal measurement device to measure a biological signal in a non-constraining manner, so as to make the biological signal measurement device contiguous with the person's dorsal part.

Each of recesses in outer circumferential surfaces of rotors includes: a leading-side area extending forward from a longitudinal center of an associated one of the outer circumferential surfaces in a rotation direction of the rotor, and a trailing-side area continuous with the leading-side area, and extending rearward from the longitudinal center in the rotation direction. From the longitudinal center of the associated one of the outer circumferential surfaces in the rotation direction, forward extension of the leading-side area is longer than rearward extension of the trailing-side area. The leading-side area has a larger volume than the trailing-side area.

A biological body state estimation device configured such that a homeostatic function level is sorted and acquired in plural stages by using a biological signal obtained from an upper body of a person and each stage of the homeostatic function level is plotted in time series in accordance with a time axis indicated on the lateral axis and displayed as a graph by a display. A highest part on the vertical axis of the graph can be displayed as a highly active state and a lowest part as a function decline state. Therefore, a state of fluctuation due to autonomous nerves as an attempt to maintain homeostasis, progress of a feeling of fatigue, and a state stimulated by activation of the brain can be captured as a periodic function. Moreover, a sleep prediction phenomenon can be captured.

There is provided a sound and vibration information collecting mechanism, which collects low-frequency sound and vibration information with a predetermined frequency or lower from a detection target, the mechanism including a resonance layer, which includes a natural oscillator having a natural frequency within a frequency band of the sound and vibration information being a collection target, and generates a resonance carrier by the natural oscillator emphasizing the sound and vibration information; and a sensor, which detects the resonance carrier. The mechanism detects a bioacoustic signal and a biosignal more accurately than conventionally.

To enable an output sound of a speaker unit to be output as a surface sound source in a limited space. A three-dimensional knitted fabric is provided at a position substantially facing speaker units while being given tension in a surface direction. Since the tension is applied, a pair of ground knitted fabrics constituting the three-dimensional knitted fabric and a connecting yarn extending back and forth between the ground knitted fabrics vibrate due to their elastic action. In particular, string vibration is generated in the connecting yarn. Due to this vibration, output sounds of the speaker units are propagated in the surface direction of the three-dimensional knitted fabric, and as a result, the three-dimensional knitted fabric propagates and radiates acoustic waves of a surface sound source.

Determination about presence/absence of alcohol in the body is made accurately. A frequency dynamic information processing meanswhich obtains a tendency of time-series fluctuation regarding a frequency of a pulse wave of a back portion of a person detected by an air pack and an alcohol-drinking determining meanswhich determines an alcohol-drinking state when a tendency of a time-series fluctuation regarding the frequency obtained by the frequency dynamic information processing meansis separated from a tendency of time-series fluctuation regarding the frequency at a non-drinking state are provided. Since determination about whether or not a person is in an alcohol-drinking state is made according to comparison with time-series fluctuation regarding the frequency at a non-drinking time, where the determination is made using not only frequency analysis of the frequency of a pulse wave changing according to the physical condition of the person but also the time-series fluctuation thereof, determination about presence/absence of alcohol drinking can be made more accurately as compared with the conventional method.

Alcohol-drinking detecting system and computer program

A technology to grasp a state of a human being more accurately is provided. The technology is provided with means for acquiring a time-series waveform of a frequency from a time-series waveform of a biological signal sampled from the upper body of a human being and for further acquiring a time-series waveform of frequency slope and a time-series waveform of frequency fluctuation and for applying frequency analysis to them. In the frequency analysis, a power spectrum of each frequency corresponding to a functional adjustment signal, a fatigue reception signal, and an activity adjustment signal, respectively, determined in advance is acquired. Then, a state of a human being is determined from a time-series change of each power spectrum. The fatigue reception signal indicates a degree of progress of fatigue in a usual active state and thus, by comparing it with degrees of predominance of the functional adjustment signal and the activity adjustment signal as their distribution rates, a state of a human being (relaxed state, fatigued state, state in which sympathetic nerve is predominant, a state in which parasympathetic nerve is predominant and the like) can be determined more accurately.

Device for estimating state of living organism

A mechanical amplification device includes a three-dimensional knitted material and foam bodies and laminated in the periphery of the three-dimensional knitted material. A mechanical amplification device provided with a film is disposed between the three-dimensional knitted material and the foam bodies and is provided, and a vibration sensor is attached to this mechanical amplification device. Micro vibration on the body surface caused by a human biological signal is propagated to the foam bodies, the film, and the three-dimensional knitted material, and membrane vibration is generated in the foam bodies and the film, while string vibration of a fiber is generated in the three-dimensional knitted material. As a result, the biological signal such as heart rate, respiration, atrial and aortic vibrations and the like can be accurately transmitted.

A configuration is adopted where elastic members made of expanded rein beads and having a size covering air cushions are disposed between a skin member and the air cushions of a human body supporting device. By arranging a plurality of elastic members made of expanded rein beads and in a stacking manner, preferably, arranging two elastic members made of expanded resin beads, spring constants of the elastic members obtained from load-deflection characteristics when they are pressed to a deflection amount of 1 mm by a pressing plate with a diameter of 30 mm being higher than that of the air cushion and being different from each other, a biological signal can be transmitted to the air cushions without damping the biological signal, though the elastic members made of expanded rein beads and are provided.

Biological signal measuring device and biological state analyzing system

A state change of a person is captured with timing closer to consciousness of the person. A frequency slope waveform of a time series signal of a pulse wave of a body of a person detected by an air pack is obtained by a frequency slope time-series analyzing and a computing device and a frequency fluctuation time-series waveform is obtained by a frequency fluctuation time-series analyzing and computing device. By comparing changes of two waveforms with each other in a waveform determining device, a state change of a person can be captured with timing closer to consciousness of the person.

Device and computer program for analyzing biological body state

There are provided a bio-signal analyzer using a sensor capable of detecting, even though it is non-invasive, a more prominent bio-signal, and a seat using the bio-signal analyzer. Air cushions (), which are sensors detecting a bio-signal in a non-invasive manner, are disposed at the positions corresponding respectively to left and right iliocostalis lumborum muscles of a person, in a substantially vertically long state along the iliocostalis lumborum muscles, with upper ends thereof being set at least at the height corresponding to a lower face of a human diaphragm. In the diaphragm, bio-signals such as heartbeats, breaths, or pulsations of aorta passing through the vicinity of the diaphragm are resonated and amplified. Further, the iliocostalis lumborum muscles are at positions where they are easily vibrated by pulsations of aorta passing through the vicinity of the lumbar region. Therefore, by disposing the air cushions () as described above, bio-signals amplified by the diaphragm and the iliocostalis lumborum muscles can be detected.
