An ear-worn device includes: a microphone that obtains a sound and outputs a first sound signal of the sound obtained; a DSP that outputs a second sound signal based on the first sound signal, when determining that the sound satisfies a predetermined requirement relating to a noise component contained in the sound and the sound contains human voice; a loudspeaker that outputs a reproduced sound based on the second sound signal output; and a housing that contains the microphone, the DSP, and the loudspeaker.

Ear-worn device and reproduction method

An ear-worn device includes: a microphone that obtains a sound and outputs a sound signal of the sound obtained; a DSP that performs signal processing on the sound signal to determine whether speech contained in the sound has reverberance, and outputs, based on a result of the determination, a first sound signal obtained by performing first signal processing on the sound signal; a loudspeaker that reproduces the sound based on the first sound signal output; and a housing that contains the microphone, the DSP, and the loudspeaker.

A speaker device includes: a main body part mounted at a predetermined position; a first actuator that is housed in the main body part and generates vibration corresponding to an audio signal that is input; a vibrating body; and vibration transmitting member. The vibrating body vibrates with vibration transmitted from the outside to generate sound. The vibration transmitting member is a string-shaped or rod-shaped member that transmits the vibration generated by the first actuator to the vibrating body. The vibrating body is placed for hanging from the first actuator by the vibration transmitting member.

Speaker device

A control unit in a communications device, upon receipt of information from a first lighting device, transmits the information from the first lighting device to a second lighting device and enters a single protocol state in which wireless communication is performed exclusively via a second communications protocol, until the communications device receives a response to the transmission. Upon receipt of information from the second lighting device, the control unit transmits the information from the second lighting device to the first lighting device and enters a single protocol state in which wireless communication is performed exclusively via a first communications protocol, until the communications device receives a response to the transmission. Upon receipt of either of the responses by the communications device, the control unit enters a multiprotocol state in which wireless communication is possible via the first and second communications protocols.

Communications device

A third lighting device connects one or more first lighting devices included in a first local network with one or more second lighting devices included in a second local network different from the first local network. The third lighting device includes: a first processing unit that wirelessly communicates with the one or more first lighting devices via a first communications protocol; a second processing unit that wirelessly communicates with the one or more second lighting devices via a second communications protocol different from the first communications protocol; and a control unit that switches between causing the first processing unit to wirelessly communicate with the one or more first lighting devices and causing the second processing unit to wirelessly communicate with the one or more second lighting devices.

Lighting device

A remote control for controlling a luminaire is wirelessly controllable with a terminal device. The remote control includes: a receiver that receives an input from a user; a first communication circuit that communicates wirelessly; and a first controller that generates a control signal and transmits the control signal to the luminaire via the first communication circuit, in which the control signal corresponds to the input received by the receiver and includes identification information unique to the terminal device as a source address.

A communications device relays information between a start node among one or more first lighting devices included in a first local network and an end node among one or more second lighting devices included in a second local network different from the first local network. The communications device includes a first processing unit that wirelessly communicates with the one or more first lighting devices via a first communications protocol; a second processing unit that wirelessly communicates with the one or more second lighting devices via a second communications protocol different from the first communications protocol; and a control unit that switches between causing the first processing unit to wirelessly communicate with the one or more first lighting devices and causing the second processing unit to wirelessly communicate with the one or more second lighting devices.

A lighting apparatus among a plurality of lighting apparatuses in a wireless mesh network in a lighting system including the plurality of lighting apparatuses and a terminal which performs wireless communication with the lighting apparatus includes: a communication circuit which performs wireless communication; and a controller which controls the communication circuit. The controller establishes a connection with the terminal. When another lighting apparatus included in the plurality of lighting apparatuses transmits a signal (second signal) to the terminal using wireless communication, the controller receives the second signal via the communication circuit, and transmits the second signal to the terminal via the communication circuit.

Lighting apparatus, communication method performed by lighting apparatus, and lighting system

A communications device connects one or more first lighting devices included in a first local network with one or more second lighting devices included in a second local network different from the first local network. The communications device includes a single semiconductor integrated circuit including: a first processing unit that wirelessly communicates with the one or more first lighting devices via a first communications protocol; a second processing unit that wirelessly communicates with the one or more second lighting devices via a second communications protocol different from the first communications protocol; and a control unit that switches between causing the first processing unit to wirelessly communicate with the one or more first lighting devices and causing the second processing unit to wirelessly communicate with the one or more second lighting devices.

Provided is a remote control for controlling a luminaire that is wirelessly controllable with a terminal device. The apparatus controller interprets: a mesh profile which is a communications protocol for the lighting apparatus to transmit and receive the information to and from another lighting apparatus and a communication terminal forming a mesh network, and a user profile which is a communications protocol for the lighting apparatus and the communication terminal to communicate with each other, the user profile being set depending the communication terminal.

Lighting apparatus and lighting system supporting a mesh network

An illumination apparatus includes: a light source; a communication device that performs wireless communication, a timer that indicates a current time; a storage that stores scene information indicating a scene specified by at least one of dimming and toning, and an activation time indicating a time at which the scene indicated by the scene information should be activated; and a controller that, when the current time indicated by the timer reaches the activation time, causes the light source to emit light in a mode for the scene indicated by the scene information, and transmits the scene information and the current time via the communication device.

Illumination apparatus and lighting method

Lighting apparatuses each include an apparatus communicator and an apparatus controller. The apparatus communicator wirelessly transmits and receives information on operations of the lighting apparatuses. The apparatus controller interprets: a mesh profile which is a communications protocol for the lighting apparatus to transmit and receive the information to and from another lighting apparatus and a communication terminal forming a mesh network, and a user profile which is a communications protocol for the lighting apparatus and the communication terminal to communicate with each other, the user profile being set depending on the communication terminal.

Lighting apparatuses have a first communication mode in which the lighting apparatuses and a first or second communication terminal mutually transmit and receive a command and a second communication mode in which the lighting apparatuses forming a mesh network mutually transmit and receive the command. Among the lighting apparatuses that receive the command originating from the first communication terminal in the second communication mode, the lighting apparatuses that are not in communication with the second communication terminal in the first communication mode execute the command received in the second communication mode. On the other hand, the lighting apparatus that is in communication with the second communication terminal in the first communication mode maintains a current operating state without executing the command received in the second communication mode.

Lighting apparatus and lighting system

A lighting device includes a pyroelectric sensor, a shutter and a lighting control unit. The lighting control unit is configured, when the lighting load is turned off, to turn the lighting load on if the pyroelectric sensor detects a change in infrared radiation. The lighting control unit is also configured, when the lighting load is turned on, to turn the lighting load off if a repetition count or time of a lighting retention time reaches a specified count or time, respectively, with no change in infrared radiation detected through the pyroelectric sensor within each lighting retention time per the passage of lighting retention time.
