An object of the present invention is to provide a fluorescent lamp including: a hermetically sealed lamp vessel; and a phosphor layer attached to a part of an inner surface of the lamp vessel, where a thickness of the phosphor layer near an edge thereof gradually and smoothly decreases towards the edge.

To provide a bulb-form lamp including a few compartments, which can be easily fitted in a socket of a lighting equipment and reliably carry out electrical contact between a shell and the socket of the lighting equipment. The bulb-form lamp includes a shell surrounding one end of a casing, and the shell is molded integrally with one end of the casing to make contact with an outer surface of the casing leaving substantially no gap.

Bulb-form lamp and its manufacturing method

In a bulb-form lamp, a threaded portion of a lamp cap , that is, a shell is made of a conductive resin. The conductive resin shell and an eyelet constituting the lamp cap are composite parts, which are molded integrally with a lamp case . A part of the conductive resin shell is provided with a terminal connective portion projecting into the lamp case . The terminal connective portion 30 is connected with an electrode terminal led out of a printed circuit board of a lighting circuit so that the conductive resin shell and the lighting circuit are electrically connected. By doing so, it is possible to simplify the assembly of bulb-form lamp, and to reduce an assembly cost, and further, to manufacture a bulb-form lamp having a high quality and a lamp case for the bulb-form lamp.

Bulb-form lamp and manufacturing method of lamp case

A bulb-form lamp allows a lighting circuit and an eyelet to be easily and reliably connected together without using any soldering or plasma arc welding or lead wires, prevents a lighting failure caused by an inappropriate contact, and reduces costs while improving productive efficiency. A case having a lighting circuit accommodated inside includes a base formed at an end portion thereof and having an eyelet and a screw-like shell. The lighting circuit and the eyelet are connected together without any lead wire.

Without applying soldering or plasma arc welding, a lead wire is brought into connection with an eyelet easily and reliably so that lighting failure due to incomplete contact is prevented and cost saving is achieved. A base ( ) has a screw form shell ( ) and an eyelet ( ). An end portion of the shell ( ) is provided with the eyelet ( ) via an insulator. A lead wire ( ) supplying power is brought into connection with a portion of the eyelet ( ) at other than an outer surface of the eyelet.

Lamp with internally attached eyelet lead, and method therefor

A fluorescent lamp includes a light-emitting tube having a pair of electrodes therein, a base in which the light-emitting tube is fixed, and a base contact pin terminal supported by the base with one end thereof projecting from the base. The base contact pin terminal is electrically connected to an electrode lead wire drawn from the light-emitting tube. The base is provided with a first power-conducting member including the base contact pin terminal having a lead plate, a connecting terminal having a lead plate and connected to the electrode lead wire, and a thermal protection element connected to the lead plate of the base contact pin terminal and the lead plate of the connecting terminal. The manufacturing processes of a fluorescent lamp provided with a thermal fuse are simplified and can be performed easily.

Fluorescent lamp

A method for producing a lamp includes forming a tubular portion that is protruded in an end of an eyelet of a base of a lamp; drawing a lead wire for supplying power out of the tubular portion; and fusing the lead wire and the tubular portion with the eyelet by plasma arc welding. This ensures that plasma arc can be discharged to the protruded tubular portion, and therefore the tubular portion and the lead wire are fused with the eyelet of the base satisfactorily and stably. In the present invention, a tubular sleeve can be used in place of the tubular portion.

Method for producing lamps

An electronic component contained in a metal case is attached with an insulation mold at a sealing part and lead wires of the electronic component element are passing through holes on the insulator base, and the end parts of the lead wires are bent in recesses on the insulator base, thereby constituting surface mounting type electronic component.
