To simplify the configuration, decrease the number of parts, and reduce the manufacturing cost, a windshield device for a saddle-ride type vehicle includes: a screenwhose height is adjustable; a holderholding the screen; a bracketfixed to a vehicle body side memberand having a guide hole; an armarranged between the holder and the bracket; a first shaftrotatably coupling the holder and the bracket and configured to move along the guide hole; a second shaftarranged parallel to the first shaft and coupling the holder and one end of the arm; a third shaftarranged parallel to the first shaft and coupling the bracket and another end of the arm; and an operation memberprovided at an end portion of the first shaft.

Windshield device for saddle-ride type vehicle

A saddle ride type vehicle including a movable windscreen structure capable of improving operability at low cost. A shaft is supported by a fixing member so as to be vertically movable, the shaft passes through a lower upright portion of a screen attachment member provided on the outer side in the vehicle width direction of the fixing member, and an operation unit is slidably provided at the end portion of the shaft. The operation unit includes a grip portion gripped when being slid and a flange portion disposed inside in the vehicle width direction of the grip portion, the grip portion includes an outer grip portion disposed outside in the vehicle width direction and an inner grip portion disposed inside in the vehicle width direction of the outer grip portion, and the flange portion is formed to have a larger diameter than the inner grip portion.

Saddle ride type vehicle

A vehicle includes left and right main frames that may have their front ends connected to a head pipe, and may be disposed such that the distance between the left and right main frames is progressively greater in a rearward direction. The left and right main frames may be connected to each other by an upper plate-like member, and the upper plate-like member may have a front edge spaced rearwardly from the head pipe and have left and right ends welded respectively to the left and right main frames.

Vehicle body frame structure for saddle-type vehicle

A saddle ride type vehicle that may include an engine supporting structure and an engine including a crankcase portion and a cylinder portion. The engine may be supported in a lower portion of the vehicle body frame by a front upper hanger portion and a front lower hanger portion. The front upper hanger portion, the front lower hanger portion, and a pivot supporting hole portion may be high-rigidity hangers having high rigidity, and the engine may be supported in the vehicle body frame by a rear lower hanger portion, a rear upper hanger portion, and a cylinder portion hanger portion having low rigidity which portions are provided between the high-rigidity hangers along the frame bodies.

Engine supporting structure for saddle riding type vehicle

In a saddle-type vehicle, an engine is supported by a pivot shaft through insertion of the pivot shaft into a bracket part provided at a rear part of the engine. A center lower cross frame is so provided as to span a space between parts in left and right pivot plates on the lower side relative to the pivot shaft. The pivot shaft and the center lower cross frame are connected by a hanger member.

The shock absorber upper end coupling portion is provided at a leading end portion of a shock absorber support bracket extending forwardly and downwardly from the cross member.

Saddle-ride type vehicle

A body frame structure for a saddle type vehicle includes a pair of left and right main frames extending rearward from a head pipe. A down frame extends downward from the head pipe, and a pair of left and right reinforcement members range between the main frame and the down frame. Each of the reinforcement members is formed in a roughly U-shaped form in sectional view, and ranges between the main frame and the down frame in the state where an opening portion of its roughly U-shaped sectional form is oriented inward in the vehicle width direction. Its end portions are welded respectively to the main frame and the down frame.

Body frame structure for saddle type vehicle

The center upper cross frame is positioned on an extension line of the rear cushion in the longitudinal direction, an opening that penetrates through a horizontal direction is formed in a pivot plates, and in a side view, a rear cushion supporting portion is positioned inside of the opening.

A motorcycle including a vehicle body frame with a single down frame extending downwardly and rearwardly from a head pipe supporting a front fork in a steerable manner. An engine main body arranged behind the down frame, said engine main body being mounted on the vehicle body frame. A pair of left and right radiators arranged separately on left and right sides of the down frame respectively, said pair of left and right radiators being supported on the vehicle body frame in front of the engine main body. Exhaust pipes connected to front portions of an engine main body with a down frame and a pair of left and right radiators being arranged side by side in a left-right direction wherein the exhaust pipes are located between at least one of the pair of left and right radiators and the down frame in a vehicle front view.

A wheel speed detecting device includes a countermeasure against the entrance of muddy water. An annular recess groove is provided in an outer circumference of an end portion of a hub on a sensor side. A cup-shaped flange portion extends from the sensor supporting member with the flange portion covering the annular recess groove while maintaining a predetermined gap Tbetween the flange portion and the outer circumference of the end portion of the hub. Muddy water heads toward a multi-pole magnet ring by running through the gap Tformed between the flange portion and the outer circumference of the hub. However, the entrance of muddy water can be effectively prevented by making the gap Tsmall. Thus, muddy water that enters the gap Tis trapped in the annular recess groove.

Wheel speed detecting device

A motorcycle with a disk brake device and an anti-dip device for improving the external appearance of the front forks and for simplifying the fixing of the hoses. A single hose includes a hydraulic passage k extending from a secondary master cylinder and one end of the hose is connected to one opening of a three-way opening coupling fixed to the front forks. One end of a single hose is supported by the secondary master cylinder and the other end is supported by the three-way opening coupling. Thus the hose clamps may be omitted, the number of components is conspicuously reduced and the arrangement is simplified. In comparison to extending two hoses from the secondary master cylinder, only a single hose is extended according to the present invention. Thus, the handling of the hoses is simplified and the outer appearance near the front forks is improved.

Motorcycle

A motorcycle includes a swing arm swingably provided on a body frame, a wheel rotatably provided at an end part of the swing arm, a disk plate attached to the wheel, a caliper bracket provided on the body frame side of the vehicle, a disk brake caliper provided on the caliper bracket, and a wheel speed sensor attached to the caliper bracket. The wheel speed sensor is disposed between the swing arm and the wheel. The wheel speed sensor and the swing arm overlap one other in a side view of the vehicle.

Motorcycle wheel speed sensor mounting structure

A brake device for a motorcycle which includes a brake caliper for parking and which favorably ensures the followability of the swing arm in response to the fluctuation of a road surface. A brake caliper for braking and a brake caliper for parking are respectively arranged separately in the vertical direction with respect to the swing arm and, at the same time, are arranged in front of the rear axle. Here, the brake caliper for parking is arranged below the swing arm and the brake caliper for braking is arranged above the swing arm.
