A control device for a hybrid vehicle automatic transmission. The hybrid vehicle being capable of EV travel in which drive wheels are driven by only a rotary electric machine with the internal combustion engine stopped. The control device having an electric oil pump control device to drive an electric oil pump that supplies oil to the friction engagement element. A neutral control device performs disengagement control on the friction engagement element. A drag determination device determines whether conditions under which drag of the friction engagement element occurs are met because of a shortage in amount of oil to be supplied to a cancellation oil chamber of the friction engagement element by the electric oil pump during the EV travel started from a state in which the hybrid vehicle is stationary. Drag elimination control device provides a command to start the internal combustion engine.

Control device and control method for automatic transmission

A control device of a hybrid vehicle including an engine; an automatic transmission placed on a power transmission path between the engine and wheels, having a first friction engagement element engaged in a forward range and a second engagement element engaged in a reverse range based on a hydraulic pressure generated while the engine is stopped; and a rotary electric machine capable of driving the wheels without using the power transmission path. The rotary electric machine is driven when a shift range is the forward range or the reverse range while the internal combustion engine is stopped, and the driving of the rotary electric machine is restrained for a set time after the shift range is changed from the forward range to the reverse range or vice versa while the engine is stopped.

Control device of hybrid vehicle

An automatic transmission for a hybrid vehicle comprising a first hydraulic pressure supply source driven with an internal combustion engine; a second hydraulic pressure supply source driven independently of the first supply source; and a regulator valve regulating hydraulic pressure produced by the supply sources. A first oil passage supplying line pressure regulated by the regulator valve to a hydraulic servo operating a friction engagement element; a second oil passage supplying hydraulic pressure discharged from the regulator valve to a lubricated portion via an oil cooler; and a thud oil passage merged with the second oil passage at a point downstream of the oil cooler supplying the hydraulic pressure of the second supply source to the lubricated portion. A first reverse flow prevention mechanism is disposed between the oil cooler and the merging point to prevent reverse flow of hydraulic pressure.

Automatic transmission for hybrid vehicle

A vehicle drive device includes a case with a case main body portion accommodating the speed change mechanism, and a connection case portion connecting the engine and the case main body portion and having a diameter increased toward the engine; a hydraulic pressure control device that is provided under the speed change mechanism, and controls a hydraulic pressure to be supplied to the speed change mechanism; and an electric pump that generates the hydraulic pressure to be supplied to the speed change mechanism through the hydraulic pressure control device.
