An operation voltage control circuit device includes a column of selective electrical conduction elements connected in series, a column of capacitors connected in parallel to the selective electrical conduction elements, inverted voltage generation units alternately inserted between the selective electrical conduction elements and the capacitors, and electrode connection terminals connected in parallel to the capacitors between a pair of output terminals and connected to power supply cells connected in series to each other. The column of the selective electrical conduction elements are alternately grouped and are controlled to be alternately switched to an electrical conduction state or a cutoff state. The operation voltage control circuit device further includes auxiliary capacitors connected in parallel to the selective electrical conduction elements excluding both ends of the selective electrical conduction element column, and auxiliary inverted voltage generation units alternately inserted between the selective electrical conduction elements and the auxiliary capacitors.

Operation voltage control circuit device for solar cells connected in series or other power supplies

An output voltage control circuit device includes a rectifying unit configured to permit a flow of a current from a negative electrode side to a positive electrode side of a power supply cell, a voltage generation unit, through which a current is able to flow in both directions between both ends inserted between a negative electrode of an odd-numbered power supply cell counted from the negative electrode side of the power supply cells and an anode of the rectifying unit, and a generated voltage between both ends is able to be cyclically inverted; a voltage holding capacitor, and a voltage control circuit unit configured to generate a voltage, a direction of which is cyclically inverted, between both ends of the voltage generation unit on the negative electrode side of the power supply cells.

Output voltage control circuit device for plurality of power supply cells connected in series

In a photovoltaic device or an operating point control circuit in which a current is output from a corresponding power supply cell or capacitor to between output terminals by periodically cutting off switching elements which are connected in series to a plurality of power supply cells and/or capacitors connected in series between the output terminals via inductors, cutoff duty ratios of all the switching elements are uniformly fixed to the same value in one cycle in which all the switching elements are cut off once.

Photovoltaic device and operating point control circuit device for photovoltaic cells or other power supply elements connected in series

A solar power generation system includes: solar cells, or solar cells and at least one capacitor, connected in series between output terminals; an accompanying circuit provided for each of the solar cells, or each of the solar cells and each of the at least one capacitor, the accompanying circuit including an inductor and a switching device arranged in series; and a power generation operating point control device. The solar cells, or the solar cells and the at least one capacitor, are divided into units, of which adjacent units share one of the solar cells or one of the at least one capacitor. The power generation operating point control device is provided for each of the units, and is configured to control connection and disconnection of the switching device so as to optimize power generating capacity of the unit for which the power generation operating point control device is provided.

Three or more photovoltaic cell units connected in series include a unit holding a voltage between output terminals, a first voltage holding unit group having a voltage holding unit holding a voltage between an anode-side terminal and a cathode-side terminal for each photovoltaic cell unit set with respect to each set of the (2k+1)th and (2k+2)th photovoltaic cell units connected in series to each other counted from the anode side, and a second voltage holding unit group having a voltage holding unit holding a voltage between an anode-side terminal and a cathode-side terminal for each photovoltaic cell unit set with respect to each set of the (2k+2)th and (2k+3)th photovoltaic cell units connected in series to each other counted from the anode side.

Electric power generation operation point control circuit device

In a circuit device controlling an operating point of each of two or more series-connected photovoltaic cells or other power supply cells in a module, the output voltage of the module can be boosted without reducing the generated electric power. The operating point control circuit device includes capacitors connected in parallel to the respective series-connected cells, switching elements connected in parallel to the respective series-connected cells through an inductor, an additional capacitor connected in series to the capacitor row, and an additional switching element connected in series to the switching element row. The switching elements are controlled to shut off electrical conduction between the corresponding terminals connected thereto in the same predetermined cycle and in mutually different periods so as to always establish a condition that one switching element is in the non-conductive state and the others are is in the conductive state.
