A touch sensor includes a hollow tubular member that is elastic and insulative; and a first electrode wire and a second electrode wire held in the tubular member while being separated from each other. The first electrode wire and the second electrode wire contact with each other by elastic deformation when receiving an external pressure to the tubular member. The first electrode wire and the second electrode wire extend parallel to a central axis of the tubular member. A shape of a gap between the first electrode wire and the second electrode wire in a cross section orthogonal to the central axis of the tubular member is non-linear.

Touch sensor and method for manufacturing the same

A cord switch including a cord switch main body including a hollow tubular member having elasticity and electrical insulating property and a plurality of electrode wires provided to face each other with an interval at an inner surface of the tubular member and spaced from each other by the elasticity of the tubular member, and a mounting member having an elastic modulus greater than an elastic modulus of the tubular member and being provided along the cord switch main body. A built-in antenna having: a support body that has a top surface shape having a flat plane that has three neighboring sides with two corners defined therebetween and inclined planes that extend downward from the respective three sides and has other planes between the inclined planes; and a metal conductor that is mounted on the support body, the metal conductor having a shape corresponding to the top surface shape of the support body, the shape being formed by bending a metal plate. The metal conductor has a first slit located corresponding to a middle side of the three sides and a second slit located extending downward from one of the two corners, the second slit being communicated with the first slit and having an opened end.

Built-in antenna and mobile terminal incorporating same

A built-in antenna for being installed in a housing of insulating material has a metal plate that has a radiating portion and a feeder terminal. The radiating portion has a plurality of penetrating holes to be fitted to a plurality of protrusions provided on the housing side, and a plate spring that is formed extending from an edge of each of the plurality of penetrating holes to the center of the each of the plurality of penetrating holes.

Built-in antenna, electronic device using the same, method of making the same and a method of installing the same

A method of manufacturing a flat antenna is composed of the steps of entirely applying Ni plating to the front and back surfaces of a long metal sheet, bonding masking tapes to the front surface of the metal sheet where the Ni plating has been applied except two stripe regions, applying Au plating to the two stripe regions by dipping the metal sheet into an Au plating solution, making a plurality of conductive flat sheets by punching the metal sheet to a plurality of regions along the lengthwise direction thereof after exfoliating the masking tapes, and bending the portions of each conductive flat sheet acting as a power feed terminal and a ground terminal. The metal sheet can be simply masked by bonding a plurality of the masking tapes thereto linearly except the regions where the plating is to be applied, thereby the productivity of the flat antenna can be increased.
