An inspection room decision support system for providing support in deciding one inspection room in which a requested endoscopic inspection will be conducted, plural inspection rooms, the system includes: an input unit that inputs information; a registration unit that registers at least information about each of the inspection rooms, information about a number of persons waiting for inspection in each of the inspection rooms and information about an endoscope used in each of the inspection rooms into a database in accordance with the information inputted by the input unit; and a control unit which reads at least the information about each of the inspection rooms, the information about the number of persons waiting for inspection in each of the inspection rooms and the information about the endoscope in each of the inspection rooms from the database, and makes a display device display these pieces of information associated with each other.

Inspection room decision support system, inspection room decision support method and computer readable medium

There is provided a document reader system for reading images of a large number of document papers while continuously feeding the document papers from an auto-feeder to a scanner so that image data read by the scanner can be supplied to a computer, which can easily meet various requirements of different users, easily satisfy a user having only a scanner and planning to purchase a microfilm camera additionally, reduce space needed for installing the whole system without providing double auto-feeders and stackers for the scanner and the microfilm camera, and which allows makers to easily provide various types of systems to meet user's requirements. The system includes a turn unit removably attached to the scanner so that the document papers passing through and ejected from the scanner can be returned to a stacker provided in the scanner. Each device portion of the system is formed as a unit so that various types of document reader systems can be obtained by combining necessary units.

Document reader system

An improvement of microfilm camera with a marking device in which an image of a document is photographed on a roll film mounted in a cassette using a slit exposure system and a two-dimensional digital image of a mark is recorded on the roll film. The microfilm camera comprises: an image taking lens for forming the image of the document on the roll film; a mark taking lens having an optical axis inclined in the length side direction of the roll film with respect to that of the image taking lens; and a digital image generator for generating a one-dimensional digital image extending in the width side direction of the roll film and formed by said mark taking lens at or in close vicinity of the image forming position of the image taking lens. The two-dimensional image of the mark is recorded on the film by changing the one-dimensional digital image synchronously with traveling of the film. With such construction, the size of a photographic opening provided in the cassette can be reduced to made the cassette structure simple. It is unnecessary to provide a complicated synchronizing mechanism for setting mark projecting or recording timing.

Microfilm camera with marking device

There is provided a microfilm cassette capable of reducing the case size and obtaining a rational arrangement of elements such as reels and photographic roller. The microfilm cassette includes: a case having a substantially rectangular shape as viewed from the top; a supply reel and a take-up reel mounted inside the case and arranged adjacent to each other horizontally in the length side direction of the case; a photographic opening located around the center of one short side of the case; a photographic roller arranged in a position opposite to the photographic opening; and a shutter for opening and closing the photographic opening. The short side of the cassette case on which the photographic opening is located may be bulged and expanded outwardly around the center of the photographic opening, so that the mark taking lens and the image taking lens can be arranged close to each other. Further, a pair of labels may be attached to the case in positions substantially symmetric with respect to the central axis parallel to the long side of the case. Microfilm cassette and microfilm camera

A document display device for displaying document pages thereof is provided. One or more document pages are displayed on an oblong or rectangular display face of turnable display having an oblong or rectangular display face and to be set to either vertical or horizontal position. The device comprises a face position setter for inputting therethrough an instruction for selectively setting the position of the display, and an image allocater instructing the number of document pages to be displayed on the display face of the display and also instructing to select the orientation of each document page.

Document display device

Improvement in the microfilm camera for reading an amount of money of an addressed bill or check brought into a bank, the amount of money being written in the column for writing the amount of money by the drawer of the addressed bill or check, for printing the read amount of money for magnetic ink character recognition (MICR) and for photographing the image of the addressed bill or check on a microfilm. The improved microfilm camera, provided by the invention, comprises an OCR for reading the amount of money written by the drawer, an MICR printer disposed downstream of the OCR for printing the amount of money read by the OCR, and an optical system for photographing the image of the addressed bill or check on a microfilm after the addressed bill or check is printed for MICR by the MICR printer. By the use of the improved microfilm camera of the invention, the amount of money written in each bill or check is printed for MICR automatically without the need of manual input operation thereby improving the operation efficiency and diminishing the occurrence of mistakes input operation.

Microfilm camera

A method of recording multiple kinds of documents successively while sorting them into plural document groups and then searching target document groups from the thus recorded document groups. Also provided is a system used for the realization of the aforementioned method. An illustrated title for identifying each document group and for discriminating the first document of each document group is recorded in an illustrated title recording medium which is separated from the document recording medium, and the correspondence between each illustrated title and the address of document groups identified by each illustrated title is recorded in an address recording medium so that access to target document groups, at the searching step, may be made by displaying all of the recorded illustrated titles and then designating one or more of illustrated titles selectively. The illustrated title is present on a partition plate interposed between respective document groups, or a reduced image or a portion of any one of the documents is defined to be used as the illustrated title by the partition plate or a discrimination mark attached on the first document of each document group.

Method of and system for recording and researching documents

A rotary camera for photographing a plurality of original documents on microfilm and for recording information relating to the photographed original documents together with data concerning the conditions for photographing additional necessary data. The rotary camera has an exposure roller on which images of the original documents are focused to be photographed and unidimensionally arranged light emitting elements opposed to the exposure roller. The light emitting elements are selectively energized so that the microfilm is exposed to the data-writing lights forming any desired images of the data in the form of letters, numerals or marks while moving in contact with the exposure roller. The data to be recorded is designated and is put into the control system through a keyboard. A jam-mark may be recorded on the microfilm as the data in response to an output from a jamming detector. Similarly, a lamp failure mark may be recorded when a lamp failure condition is detected by a sensor sensing insufficient illuminating of the original document being photographed.

An improved cut sheet feeder for feeding cut sheets separately one by one, comprising a sheet feeding and conveying device for contacting the obverse side of a first sheet to move the first sheet forwardly by frictional force, an arresting device for contacting the reverse side of a next sheet to arrest forward movement of the next sheet, the frictional force applied by the sheet feeding and conveying device being larger than the frictional force applied by the arresting device. The improved cut sheet feeder comprises a suction device operatively associated with the sheet feeding and conveying device for sucking the first sheet to increase the frictional force between the first sheet and the sheet feeding and conveying device. In a modified embodiment, a suction device may be operatively associated with the arresting device rather than being operatively associated with the sheet feeding and conveying device. In a further modified embodiment, a suction device may be operatively associated with the arresting device in addition to the suction device operatively associated with the sheet feeding and conveying device.

An automatic film processor for passing an exposed film successively through developing, fixing and rinsing stations to effect continuous development thereof. The film is applied with ultrasonic vibrations as it moves through the treating liquids to accelerate the treating speed, the ultrasonic vibrations being applied to the film such that the surface of the film is not perpendicular to the direction along which the ultrasonic wave has its maximum directivity. Arrangements for further promoting the effect by the application of ultrasonic vibrations are also provided. By the combined use of the application of ultrasonic vibration and preheating of the film, processing speed is further increased. Preheating of the film is controlled depending on the integrated amount of the already processed film, the density of the developed image or the feed rate or moving speed of the film.

Automatic film processor using ultrasonic wave generators

An automatic film processor for passing an exposed film successively through a series of treating liquid vessels respectively containing developing liquid, fixing liquid and rinsing water is provided. The film processor comprises pump means for forming a constant regular flow to raise a portion of the liquid surface of at least one treating liquid vessel, and flow guide means for guiding the constant regular flow onto the liquid surface, whereby the underside of the exposed film contacts the surface of the raised portion of the liquid. In a modified embodiment, a vibrator for generating an ultrasonic wave is associated with at least one treating liquid vessel for applying ultrasonic vibration to the film so as to accelerate the treating speed.

Automatic film processor

A process for developing a film having one or more photographed image areas, so that the photographed image areas are developed under an optimum condition to have appropriate densities. In the first step, a region of the film, other than the photographed image areas, is exposed with a constant quantity of light. The region exposed to the constant quantity of light is then developed prior to the development of the photographed image areas. The density of the image in the region exposed to the constant quantity of light is detected and compared with a characteristic curve showing the change in density of the developed image in terms of the quantity of exposure light to find the optimum condition for development. The photographed image areas are then developed under the thus found optimum condition. The condition for development may be controlled by varying the film feed rate, the concentration of the developing reagent in the developing liquid, the quantity of the developing liquid supplied to contact with the film or by changing the temperature of the developing liquid. An additional region exposed to the constant quantity of light may be provided and used for setting the optimum condition for printing.

Process for developing photographed film and for printing images through

Since the prior art photographic film processing methods use a large number of rollers, if the liquid processing agent is adhered an crystallized on such rollers, it often causes uneven processing or damages film surfaces to deteriorate the quality of finished products. Moreover, rollers should be detached from the system for cleaning and maintenance purposes to impose great burden on workers. By omitting rollers for photographic processing, this invention attempts to ovbiate such defects encountered in the prior methods. By atomizing the processing agent, this invention achieves simple adjustment of the density in finished products, uniform processing, less damage on film surfaces and high processing speed.
