A pair of left and right arm portions integrally formed by molding with a pivot portion formed on front ends and an axle support portion formed on rear ends. An opening portion with a peripheral portion endlessly contiguously formed by a pivot portion that connects front ends of both arm portions, a cross portion and both arm portions. A pair of left and right indented recessed portions is formed on an inner surface of a wall having support bosses projecting out of a lower surface of the wall. A pair of left and right reinforcing ribs that is positioned outside both recessed portions in the vehicle widthwise direction are integrally formed on the inner surface of the wall on which the support bosses is formed in a projecting manner toward the inside of the cross portion.

Swing arm for miniaturized vehicle

A structure for installing a rear cushion in a motorcycle having a hydraulic shock absorber with a subsidiary cylinder used as the suspension device. The rear swing arm includes a pair of left and right arm portions, the respective front portions being coupled with a first cross member and a second cross member. A pair of cushion brackets extend in the back-and-forth direction with the upper portion of the rear cushion sandwiched therebetween. The front and rear ends of the cushion brackets are coupled to the first and second cross members, thereby supporting the cushion brackets at both ends. An upper portion of the rear cushion fits within a space enclosed by the first and the second cross members, and the left and right cushion brackets, and is coupled to the intermediate portion of the left and right cushion brackets.

Structure for installing rear cushion

A steering damper apparatus for a two-wheeled vehicle includes a steering damper housing with a lower end portion fixed to the motorcycle's main frame. A first torque arm has a first end fixed to a pivotally movable shaft, and a second end which is connected, via a first pin, to a first end of a second torque arm. The second torque arm has a second end bolted to a top bridge on the main frame. The first and second torque arms are pivotally movable relative to one another, via the pivot shaft and the first pin. The apparatus is capable of accommodating a change in distance between the pivot shaft and the bolt on the second torque arm. A two-part cover is provided for the steering damper body, including a housing cover secured to a fixed side thereof, and a torque arm cover secured to a movable side thereof.
