A stator for a rotating electrical machine includes a stator core, two insulators, and conductive wires forming coils. At least one of the insulators includes guide grooves and through-grooves. The through-grooves include at least two first grooves each of which divides at least two of the guide grooves. Each of the first grooves has a recess that is recessed in the circumferential direction with respect to the rest of the first groove at a portion that divides one of the at least two guide grooves divided by the first groove. The conductive wires extending through the corresponding through-grooves and outward in the radial direction of the insulator base are guided in the circumferential direction by the corresponding guide grooves. The conductive wires extend through the recesses in the corresponding first grooves.

An overlapping portion of an insulating portion formed in an annular shape is held between a workbench having a linear projection and an ultrasonic horn having a circular projection with at least part of the linear projection and of the circular projection opposed to each other and ultrasonically welded. In the ultrasonic welding, even though the ultrasonic horn under ultrasonic vibration rotates on the overlapping portion of the insulating portion, the area in the overlapping portion held between the linear projection and the circular projection with at least part of the linear projection and of the circular projection opposed to each other is not reduced after ultrasonic vibration is applied to the ultrasonic horn.

Method for manufacturing interphase insulating sheet of rotating electric machine, and electric compressor

Annular portions of a first interphase insulting sheet have void portions. After a U-phase coil is inserted in wave winding, bridge portions are mounted to slots for an adjacent V-phase coil. The void portions are formed at positions corresponding to the bridge portions that are disposed between any two of coil ends. The annular portions are stretched to form a generally pentagon shape, which facilitates mounting of the V-phase coil. The void portions formed at positions that do not need insulation will not impair the insulating function of the first interphase insulating sheet. The void portions formed in alignment with extension of the bridge portions will not cause a drop in the strength of the annular portions.

A compressor equipped with an electric motor having a stator including a stator core, coils, and a string. The stator core is formed of laminated core plates and has crimped portions in boundaries between a yoke and bases of teeth. The crimped portions are spaced at equal intervals in a circumferential direction of the stator core. Coil ends are laced by the string in such a way that the string is not passed through teeth spaces having the crimped portions disposed outward thereof in a radial direction of the stator core, but passed through the teeth spaces that are located adjacently on opposite sides of each of the teeth spaces having the crimped portions disposed radially outward thereof and also passed through at least one of any two adjacent of the teeth spaces.

Electric compressor for vehicle

A motor-driven compressor includes an electric motor, a compression unit, a lead wire, a connection terminal, a cluster block, a housing, a motor drive circuit, a conductive terminal, and a coupling member. The lead wire is extended from a coil end of the stator. The connection terminal is electrically connected to the lead wire. The cluster block accommodates the connection terminal. The conductive terminal electrically connects the connection terminal and the motor drive circuit. The coupling member is arranged between the stator and the cluster block. The cluster block is coupled to the stator by the coupling member. The coupling member is configured to change an coupling position of the cluster block relative to the stator so that the connection terminal faces the conductive terminal.

Motor-driven compressor

A motor-driven compressor includes a connector to which a first and second conductors are connected, and a connector case receiving the connector. The connector case includes a first case member and a second case member. A seal member is provided between the first and second case members. The first case member has a first sealing surface extending along the periphery of the first case member. The second case member has a second sealing surface extending along the periphery of the second case member and facing the first sealing surface. The seal member includes a main seal portion for sealing between the first sealing surface and the second sealing surface. The main seal portion has a first peripheral seal portion for sealing the periphery of the first conductor inserted therethrough and has a second peripheral seal portion for sealing the periphery of the second conductor inserted therethrough.

An electric motor includes a rotary shaft, a rotor fixed on the rotary shaft, and a stator having plural slots in which coils of different phases are wound. Each of the coils has at least one pair of end wires. At least in the coil located closest to the rotor, one of the end wires located farther from the rotor than the other of the end wires is used as a lead wire that is to be electrically connected to a driver circuit for energizing the coils.

A stator of a motor includes a stator core having a plurality of teeth forming slots between any two adjacent teeth and a plurality of phase coils provided in the slots, each formed by wave winding and made of a continuous wire. Each phase coil includes a first wave winding bundle and a second wave winding bundle that is passed through a first slot and a second slot. The first slot is located adjacent to one side of a group of slots through which the phase coils other than said each phase coil are passed and the second slot is located adjacent to the other side of the group of slots. The first wave winding bundle is passed through a third slot and a fourth slot. The third slot is located adjacent to the first slot on the opposite side of the first slot from the group of slots and the fourth slot is located adjacent to the second slot on the opposite side of the second slot from the group of slots.

Motor

It is intended to suppress the vibration and noise during operation of a concentrated winding electric motor and to provide an electric motor with high efficiency, low vibration and low noise. A skew is formed on at least one of a stator () and a rotor (), arranged with a concentrated winding, and a winding vibration damping body () is inserted between windings () of different phases within a winding groove () and contacted therewith.

A low-vibration/noise brushless motor capable of limiting the height of coil ends, and a low-current-leak hermetic compressor includes the brushless motor. This brushless motor is of a three-phase full-pitch-winding type including a stator having coils () inserted in slots in a one coil per one slot manner.
