A medical treatment instrument is provided with a treatment section for treating issue, an insertion section which has at one end the treatment section, and an operating section which is provided at the other end of the insertion section, operates the treatment section, and has a fixed portion and a movable portion. The treatment section is actuated by pivoting the movable portion with respect to the fixed portion. The medical treatment instrument is further provided with an actuating main body and a cover. The cover is displaceable between a first position in which the medical treatment instrument is used and a second position in which the inside of the operating section is uncovered.

Medical treatment instrument

A trocar comprises an obturator having a piercing tip, and a cannula for forming a passage in tissue that is punched by the piercing tip. The cannula is formed from a flexible tube or a coil tube and transforms and libitum in accordance with the shape of the surgical tool that is to be inserted into the body cavity through the cannula. Therefore, the trocar of the invention allows insertion of a surgical tool curved in a circular arc into the body cavity without requiring no enlargement of the inside diameter of the cannula.

The resectoscope apparatus of this invention comprises an elongate hollow sheath to be inserted into a body cavity, an endoscope having an optical system inserted through said sheath and making the body cavity interior observable, an operating part connected to the sheath and a slider made integral with at least one of an electrode inserted through the sheath and making such treatment as resecting or coagulating tissues within a body cavity by using a high frequency current and a cord for feeding the high frequency current from a high frequency current source to the electrode and a slider which is provided in the operating part and can operate the electrode from outside the body.

Resectoscope apparatus

A borescope apparatus comprising a flexible insertion section, a jet port formed at the insertion section, a moving device for supplying a compressed fluid to the jet port, whereby the insertion section is moved by an impellent force of the fluid ejected from the jet port, and a stabilizing device for steadily maintaining the position of the insertion section.

The resectoscope apparatus of this invention is provided with an electrode resecting or coagulating tissues within a body cavity by using a high frequency curent, a sheath in which at least a part of a hollow tube part inserting the electrode is formed of an electric insulating material, an operating part making the electrode operatable from outside the body, enclosing the electrode together with the sheath and formed of an electric insulating material and an endoscope inserted through the sheath to be able to observe the body cavity interior.

An electronic scope arranged in such a manner that an objective lens system is fastened to the tail end portion of an elongated inserting section and a solid state imaging device having a photoelectric transfer function is disposed at the focal point of the objective lens system. A frame to which the solid state imaging device is fastened to the tail end portion thereof is arranged to be detachably fastened to the inserting section. Therefore, the solid state imaging device can be easily repaired or interchanged by drawing out the frame body from the inserting section.

A borescope apparatus comprises an insertion section having a bending portion and a flexible portion, a bending mechanism for bending the bending portion under the pressure of supplied fluid, a pressurized fluid supplying unit for supplying the fluid to the jet port and the bending mechanism and a flow control unit for controlling the fluid supplied to jet ports which are provided in the distal end of either the bending portion or flexible portion and the bending mechanism.

The resectoscope apparatus comprises an elongate hollow sheath to be inserted into a body cavity, an electrode inserted through the sheath to make such treatments as of resecting and coagulating tissues within the body cavity by using a high frequency current, an operating part which can operate the electrode from outside the body, a cord for feeding a high frequency current to the electrode from a high frequency current source and an optical sighting tube inserted through the sheath and having an optical system which can observe the body cavity interior and the electrode is made integral at least on the rear end side with the cord. For example, the electrode has a shaft part connected at the rear end to the above mentioned operating part and inserted through the sheath and a tip electrode part provided at the tip of the shaft part and projected and retracted from the sheath tip. The operating part has a connecting part removably connectable to the sheath at the rear end and a slider connected with the electrode shaft part at the rear end and slidable in the axial direction. The resectoscope apparatus further comprises, for example, a connecting apparatus mechanically and removably connecting the electrode shaft part at the rear end to the slider.

The resectoscope apparatus of this invention comprises an elongate hollow sheath to be inserted into a body cavity, an electrode inserted through the sheath and resecting or coagulating tissues within the body cavity by using a high frequency current, an endoscope insertable part inserted through the sheath and having an optical system making the body cavity interior observable and an operating part having a guide tube part through which the endoscope insertable part is inserted and a sheath connecting part connected to the base end part of the sheath and making the electrode operatable from outside the body. At least one of the guide tube part and sheath connecting part is formed of an electric insulating material for electric insulation.

A borescope apparatus having a borescope and a pressurized fluid supply device. The borescope has an operation unit and an insertion unit. The insertion unit comprises a bending tube portion, a jet port member coupled to a proximal end of the bending tube portion, and a flexible tube portion. The bending tube portion can be bent by operating the operation unit. The jet port member has a jet port. A pressuring fluid is supplied from the fluid supply unit to the jet port member, and is ejected through the jet port. The flexible tube portion can be bent by a jet of the fluid from through the jet port independently of the bending tube portion.

An electronic endoscope system has an elongated rigid inserting section and a relay optical system disposed therein. The relay optical system transfers an optical image. A imaging device is disposed at a focus position of the relay optical sysetm in a face-to-face relationship with the imaging surface thereof.

Rigid video endoscope having a detachable imaging unit

A video scope system including a video scope in which a solid state image sensor is disposed in a distal end of an insertion to be inserted into an object under inspection and picks up an image of the inside of the object under inspection illuminated by a light fed by a light guide extending in the insertion section, a light source unit having a light source feeding a light into the light guide, and a video processor unit processing a signal supplied from the solid state image sensor to output a picture signal to be displayed on a monitor. The light source unit and the video processor unit are disposed in separate housings, respectively, and these units are connected to each other by a cable to transmit a signal therebetween.

Video scope system

This rigid electronic endoscope has an endoscope having an elongate insertable part connected to the front part of an operating part which is also a holding part on the base side and formed of a solid state imaging device which can output an electric signal by electrically converting an object image in this insertable part and a conductive shielding member sheathing this insertable part. The electric signal obtained by this endoscope is input into a signal processing circuit. The ground terminal of this signal processing circuit is electrically connected to the above mentioned shielding member and is isolated from a ground terminal on the external current source side.

Rigid electronic endoscope

This rigid electronic endoscope is formed of an endoscope body and an elongate tubular guide tube. An insertable part to be inserted through the guide tube is provided in front of this endoscope body. A solid state imaging device as an imaging means is provided in the tip part of this insertable part and a supporting part of a cross-sectional area smaller than of this tip part is provided in the rear of this tip part. A space as a treating tool inserting path or as a liquid feeding and sucking tube path which can feed and drain an irrigating liquid is formed between this supporting part and the inner surface of the guide tube.
