A hollow shaft includes a cylindrical main body part and an extremity drawn part that is integrally connected to one end of the main body part on the same axis and whose diameter is made smaller than a diameter of the main body part by drawing processing, wherein an inner peripheral face of the main body part and an inner peripheral face of a base portion, which is continuous with one end side of the main body part, of the extremity drawn part are formed as cut faces that are subjected to cutting processing before the drawing processing, and an inner peripheral face of a tip portion, which is continuous with an extremity side of the base portion, of the extremity drawn part is a non-cut face. Accordingly, the hollow shaft can be molded with high shape precision while maintaining a low drawing ratio for an extremity drawn part.

Hollow shaft

A cylinder head includes an intake-side wall part () that upwardly extends from a cylinder head lower surface (lb) coupled to a cylinder block; a port circumferential wall part () that forms therein an intake port () communicating with a combustion chamber () of an engine; an outer longitudinal rib () that projects from an outer surface of the port circumferential wall part () on a side of the cylinder head lower surface (lb); and a boss part () that is bulged from the intake-side wall part () on one end portion of the outer longitudinal rib (). The port circumferential wall part () includes a resin part disposed along an inner surface thereof. The outer longitudinal rib () extends in a direction away from the intake-side wall part () along a flow direction of intake air flowing inside the intake port (). The boss part () includes a hole part () that discharges gas in the intake port () when injection molding of the resin part is carried out.

Cylinder head

A cylinder head () disclosed herein includes a cylinder head main body () having an intake port () communicating with a combustion chamber () of an engine; and an insulation member () being arranged at an inner side of the intake port (), made of resin, and formed into an annular shape. A step part () is formed at a downstream side of the insulation member () in a flow direction of intake air in the intake port () such that the intake port () has a cross section perpendicular to the flow direction at the downstream side smaller than a cross section perpendicular to the flow direction at an upstream side of the flow direction; and an annular seal member () that seals a space between the insulation member () and the step part () is arranged between the insulation member () and the step part ().

An intake passage structure for an engine includes an intake port in a cylinder head of the engine, and connected to a combustion chamber to define an intake passage. The intake passage structure further includes a heat insulating member disposed along an inner surface of the intake port, and including a bulge having an upstream end surface which is a portion of an upstream end surface of the heat insulating member, the bulge has a radially outwardly protruding radially outer surface and has an increased wall thickness. The wall thickness of the bulge increases from downstream to upstream of the intake port. The upstream end surface of the bulge includes an injection machine connecting portion facing an injection gate configured to inject resin for forming the heat insulating member into the intake port.

Intake passage structure for an engine

A fuel injection device for an internal combustion engine includes: a high/low pressure fuel system configured to inject fuel into cylinderstothrough an in-cylinder injector; and a low pressure fuel injection system configured to inject fuel into an intake manifoldthrough an intake path injector. An ECUincorporates: an idling stop/start unitthat stops the engine when an idling stop condition is satisfied, and restarts the engine when the idling stop condition is no longer satisfied; and a fuel injection control unitthat causes, after the idling stop condition is no longer satisfied, fuel remaining in the first fuel injection unit to be injected into the cylinder, before rotation of a crank shaftstarts, so that the engineis automatically restarted, and causes fuel injection to be started from the second fuel injection unit when predetermined condition is satisfied.

Fuel injection device for internal combustion engine

A support structure for a crankshaft includes a crankshaft that is rotatably supported on a cylinder block of an internal combustion engine and has an end portion protruding from the cylinder block, a sprocket that is attached on the end portion protruding from the cylinder block and is connected to a cam shaft, a pulley that is attached on the end portion on an opposite side from the sprocket with respect to the cylinder block and is connected to an auxiliary apparatus, and an end bearing that rotatably supports the end portion relative to the cylinder block and is provided on the end portion between the sprocket and the pulley.

Support structure for crankshaft

A differential device includes: a differential gear mechanism; and an integrated differential case housing the mechanism, the differential case including bearing bosses formed integrally on one and other side portions thereof and aligned on a same axis to be rotatably supported by a transmission case; a work window being provided in the differential case; sleeves rotatably supported by the bosses and connected to side gears of the mechanism liquid-tightly. The sleeves can be passed through an inside of the differential case from the window and fitted and inserted to inner peripheries of the bosses, falling-off prevention devices are provided between the sleeves and the bosses, and seal devices for preventing lubricating oil in the differential case from flowing out are provided between the side gears and the sleeves. Accordingly, when drive shafts are removed from the differential device, the oil in the transmission and differential cases does not flow out.

Differential device and method of assembling the same

Upon request for start-up of an engine, a control apparatus controls the opening/closing action of a waste gate valve in accordance with the temperature Te of the engine before cranking and, if the temperature Te of the engine is equal to or lower than a first set temperature Te, sets the waste gate valve in an open state.

Control apparatus of engine

A control apparatus of an engine comprises: fuel injection control device that controlling injection amounts of fuel injected from a first fuel injection valve, which injects fuel into an intake path of the engine, and a second fuel injection valve, which injects fuel into a combustion chamber of the engine, in accordance with the operating state of the engine; and valve control device that changes the open/closed state of the waste gate valve in accordance with the injection amounts of fuel injected from the first fuel injection valve and the second fuel injection valve. The fuel injection control device increases the injection amount of fuel injected from the second fuel injection valve in accordance with an increase in the load or speed of the engine. The valve control device changes the open/closed state of the waste gate valve in the sequence of an opening direction, a closing direction, and an opening direction as the injection amount of fuel injected from the second fuel injection valve increases.

An issue of this invention is to enhance reliability of an electrolytic capacitor in a manner that an electrolytic solution does not leak from a sealed part while a high initial electrical conductivity is maintained even at a higher environment temperature or in a high-humidity condition. A controller puts an internal combustion engine in a first induction control state in which a lift amount of an inlet valve is equal to or smaller than a predetermined amount and an opening of a throttle valve is larger than a predetermined opening with respect to a predetermined running state. The controller puts the internal combustion engine in a second induction control state in which the lift amount of the inlet valve is larger than the predetermined amount and the opening of the throttle valve is equal to or smaller than the predetermined opening with respect to the predetermined running state. An automatic stopper automatically stops the internal combustion engine in when the lift amount of the inlet valve is equal to or smaller than the predetermined amount, when a stopping condition of the internal combustion engine is met under which a predetermined vehicle state is produced.

Induction control unit for internal combustion engine including variable valve mechanism

An upper die and a lower die are brought together to perform a sizing work on a roughly forged part of a primary forged article within a die cavity defined between the upper and lower dies. The lower die has a vertical through-hole directly communicated with the die cavity, and a punch is relatively movably received in the vertical through-hole in such a manner as to define jointly with the vertical through-hole an annular material flow passage. During the sizing process, a material of the roughly forge part is forced against a peripheral surface of the die cavity and excess material is allowed to flow into the annular material flow passage.
