An object is to provide a liquid storage container capable of reducing the possibility of dispersion of liquid in a case where a lid member is detached. The lid member has a covering portion capable of covering the opening and a knob portion protruding from the covering portion in a direction in which the knob portion becomes more distant from the opening. The covering portion can deform into a convex shape in a case where the knob portion is pushed toward the inside from the outside of the opening in a state where the lid member is attached to the opening and can deform from the convex shape into a concave shape in a case where the knob portion is pulled up toward the outside from the inside of the opening in a state where the covering portion has deformed into the convex shape.

Liquid storage container and liquid ejection apparatus

A liquid storage container includes: a storage chamber; a supply port capable of supplying the liquid into the storage chamber; a hollow protruding portion protruding from the supply port; and a plug member attachably and detachably attached to the supply port. The plug member includes: a plug portion for sealing the supply port; a cover portion formed integrally with the plug portion; a pinch portion including a first portion and a second portion provided on the cover portion and opposite to each other; and a hollow portion extending from the cover portion through the plug portion. The plug portion and the cover portion are made of an elastic body, and the hollow portion has an opening on the cover portion side. A width of the opening is narrowed and a side face of the plug portion is deformed toward the hollow portion by pinching the first and second portions.

A liquid container having a generally flat rectangular parallelepiped shape includes opposite major sides; an elongated bottom side connecting the opposite major sides; a port, formed adjacent a longitudinal end portion of the bottom side, for fluid communication between an inside and an outside of the liquid container, the port being eleongated in a longitudinal direction of the bottom side and having a width which is larger adjacent a longitudinally central portion of the bottom side than adjacent the longitudinal end portion.

The invention is to connect a liquid container, having a fluid connecting portion and an information memory medium, to the main body of a recording apparatus without generating stress in both connecting portions. An information memory medium is fixed on the internal wall of a connection aperture of an information memory medium holder, which is contained in a space defined by an information memory medium holder containing portion and a bottom cover. The space is of a size capable of containing the information memory medium holder without contact thereto, and the information memory medium holder can change its position and direction in the space. The changes in the position and direction of the information memory medium holder allow to achieve fluid connection and connection of the information memory medium without generating stress in the connecting portions thereof, even if the fluid connecting portion and the connecting portion for the information memory medium in the main body of the recording apparatus have certain aberration in the relative position and relative direction.

Liquid container and recording apparatus

An ink-jet recording apparatus that reduces degradation phenomena in a recording dignity, such as a staggered flying trajectory of an ink droplet caused by poor adhesion between an ink path and a substrate. The ink-jet apparatus includes, a first contacting surface, which enables the ink paths to contact a substrate. The first contacting surface is positioned at an incline relative to a second contacting surface. When a trenched top board is mounted on the substrate, which is fixed on a base plate, only a protrudent ridge, which is formed on an ejector N side of the contacting surface, contacts the substrate. When a pressurizing force is applied from an elastic member through a pressurizing member onto a portion to be pressurized, the contacting surface contacts uniformly with the substrate due to a deformation of the trenched top board.
