A Programmable Terminal (PT) system, a PT device and a PT system management method having a function of displaying a screen having a content on a display screen while at the same time positively preventing the leakage of confidential content are disclosed. When a part read from a screen data file corresponds to the part including a content acquired from a server device, a transmission request command including a information indicating a storage location of a content data corresponding to the contents in the server device is transmitted to the server device through a communication circuit, the content data arriving as a response from the server device is acquired through the communication circuit and stored in a volatile memory. The part is plotted and displayed using the content data stored in the volatile memory and a part configuration information contained in the screen data file in a nonvolatile memory.

Programmable terminal system

Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for easily, sensitively and reliably detecting the presence of a magnetic substance in a non-magnetic product, and even a minuted magnetized material such as a broken needle erroneously included in a sewn product. Magnetic sensors as a sensing unit are disposed at a prescribed position between a pair of opposed magnetic shielding members made of a soft magnetic material as a magnetic flux converging unit. A non-magnetic product including a magnetic substance is passed through between the pair of magnetic shielding members. A magnetic flux generated by the magnetic substance mingled in the product is converged to the magnetic shielding members, while shutting off a magnetic field due to external disturbance, and residual magnetization of the magnetic substance is detected by the magnetic sensors. Preferably, each of the magnetic shielding members has a curved surface projecting inwardly in the form curved along the conveyance direction of the non-magnetic product, and a plurality of magnetic sensors are disposed on each of the curved surfaces at intervals of a prescribed size in the lateral direction thereof.

Method and apparatus for enhanced detecting the presence of magnetic substances in non-magnetic products

A weighing/feeding apparatus for mixing two or more different types of powder/chip by respective given amounts and feeding a weighing vessel with the mixture efficiently with accuracy is provided. The apparatus includes a weighing/feeding section arranged between a transfer path for transferring empty weighing vessels and a delivery path for delivering weighing vessels loaded with the powder/chip, the weighing/feeding section being connected to a powder/grain feeding path, a-plurality of powder/chip feeding units being arranged along the feeding path and provided with respective conduits, a weighing unit carrying thereon the empty weighing vessel which is reciprocated along the feeding path to fill the empty weighing vessel with a predetermined amount of powder/chip of a plurality of desired types before returning to the weighing/feeding section and then the weighing vessel loaded with the powder/chip is delivered to the delivery path.

Powder/chip weighing/feeding apparatus

This invention provides a method of weighing powder/chip, in which the powder/chip can be fed from the conduit into the weighing vessel accurately and efficiently without being affected by the state of the conduit, that of the weighing vessel and that of ambient air. With the method, the powder/chip is weighed by means of the conduit arranged below a storage section and adapted to be tilted around a pivot according to a command sent from a weighing section to let the powder/chip fall through a discharge port at an end of the conduit into a weighing vessel placed on the weighing section. The conduit is tilted sequentially at least by three different feeding angles from large, small to minute to let the powder/chip fall by a large volume, a small volume and a minute volume respectively.

Powder/chip weighing method

In a method and an apparatus for plating a plurality of kinds of works, an unattended route-free vehicle transports the works to a number of processing tanks to immerse the works in the processing tanks. A controller calculates a processing time of the processing tanks and a transporting time needed for the vehicle to transport the works to the processing tanks and renders the vehicle to transport one kind of the works during the immersion-processing of another kind of the works, thereby performing the plating process of a plurality of kinds of works one after another.

Method and apparatus for immersion-process

Disclosed are a method and apparatus for detection of a magnetic substance erroneously included in a non-magnetic product. The non-magnetic product such as a sewn product is passed through a high magnetic field in which a magnetic field is applied to the product. The residual magnetization of a magnetic substance such as a broken needle mingled in the product is detected by a sensing unit and a signal of detection is transmitted to a measuring unit to measure the magnitude of detected residual magnetization. The presence or absence of the magnetic substance in the product is determined by a control unit based on the output from the measuring unit. Alternatively, a magnetic field may be preparatorily applied to a magnetic substance having the possibility of being mingled in the non-magnetic product thereby causing the magnetic substance to assume a state of possessing residual magnetization.

Method and apparatus for detecting broken sewing needles in sewn articles

Slide fastener chain

In a method of and apparatus for forming element-free spaces in a continuous slide fastener chain at ends of successive fly strips sewn to the slide fastener chain, the chain having a pair of intermeshed rows of coupling elements, portions of the intermeshed rows of coupling elements to be removed are detected by a sensor assembly disposed at a fixed position spaced a first distance upstream from a gap-forming device before such portions arrive at the gap-forming device. The sensor assembly first determines whether the longitudinal extent of a space provided between the confronting ends of an adjacent pair of the fly strips is larger than a predetermined distance, and then on the bases of the determination, controls the feeding of the chain and the operation of the gap-forming device so that the element-free spaces can be provided accurately at the ends of the respective fly strips regardless of the spacing between adjacent fly strips.
