An item management apparatus comprises an interface configured to obtain a first identifier of a first wireless device that is carried by a user and a second identifier of a second wireless device that is correlated with an item and carries out an alarm notice in response to a drive signal; a first receiver configured to receive a first signal from the first wireless device; a second receiver configured to receive a second signal from the second wireless device; and a processor configured to correlate the first identifier with the second identifier and to cause the memory to store the correlated first identifier and second identifier, if the first signal is received by the first receiver from the first wireless device corresponding to the first identifier obtained via the interface, and the second signal is received by the second receiver from the second wireless device corresponding to the second identifier obtained via the interface.

An item management apparatus includes an interface that receives a first identification of a first radio device carried by a user and a second identification of an alarm device correlated with an item deposited by the user. A memory stores the first identification and the second identification received by the interface in association with each other. A receiver receives a first signal from the first radio device. A processor determines a radio signal strength of the first radio device based on the first signal. A transmitter transmits a second signal for causing the alarm device to provide an alarm notice if the radio signal strength of the first radio device is determined to be greater than a predetermined value.

Item management system

A baggage management system according to an embodiment includes a storage unit and a processor. The storage unit stores a baggage terminal identification corresponding to a baggage terminal which is provided with a baggage that is a subject of a baggage management event. The storage unit also stores a clock time of the baggage management event, the clock time being stored in association with the baggage terminal identification. The processor receives a search condition corresponding to the baggage terminal identification. The processor identifies the clock time stored in the storage unit in association with the baggage terminal identification that corresponds to the search condition. The processor identifies a video file of a video recording recorded at the identified clock time. A display unit displays the identified video file.

An item management apparatus includes a reader that reads a first identification of a first radio device carried by a user and a second identification of an alarm device correlated with an item deposited by the user. A memory stores the first identification and the second identification read by the reader in association with each other. A receiver receives a first signal from the first radio device. A processor determines a distance to the first radio device based on the first signal. A transmitter transmits a second signal for causing the alarm device to provide an alarm notice if the distance to the first radio device is determined to be equal to or less than a predetermined distance.

When a label on a conveyor belt is detected, there is performed a label sticking process of making a sticking mechanism take out the label and stick it to an article at a predetermined position, while when a defect of the label on the conveyor belt is detected before detecting the label, the label is sent out to a label recovery position without performing the label sticking process.
