In an imaging apparatus, a pupil division optical system includes a first pupil transmitting light of a first wavelength band and a second pupil transmitting light of a second wavelength band different from the first wavelength band. An imaging device is configured to capture an image of light transmitted through the pupil division optical system and a first color filter having a first transmittance characteristic and light transmitted through the pupil division optical system and a second color filter having a second transmittance characteristic partially overlapping the first transmittance characteristic, and output the captured image. A processor is configured to generate a monochrome correction image or a correction image by correcting a value that is based on components overlapping between the first transmittance characteristic and the second transmittance characteristic for the captured image.

Imaging apparatus and endoscope apparatus

An imaging device includes an image sensor, an optical system forming an image of an object on the image sensor, and a processor. The optical system switches between a first state of capturing an image of the object with a single pupil and a second state of capturing an image of the object with two pupils. The processor generates a simulative phase difference image from a first captured image captured with the image sensor in the first state, and executes matching processing of comparing the simulative phase difference image with a second capture image captured with the image sensor in the second state to detect a phase difference between an image formed with one of the two pupils and an image formed with another one of the two pupils.

Imaging device, endoscope apparatus, and imaging method

An image processing device includes a processor including hardware. The processor is configured to implement an image acquisition process that acquires an image captured by an image sensor that includes a first-color filter having first transmittance characteristics, a second-color filter having second transmittance characteristics, and a third-color filter having third transmittance characteristics, and a correction process that multiplies a pixel value that corresponds to a second color by a first coefficient to calculate a component value that corresponds to the overlapping region of the first transmittance characteristics and the third transmittance characteristics, and corrects a pixel value that corresponds to a first color, the pixel value that corresponds to the second color, and a pixel value that corresponds to a third color based on the component value that corresponds to the overlapping region. The second color is longer in wavelength than the first color and shorter in wavelength than the third color.

Image processing device and image processing method

An imaging device includes an optics, an image sensor, and a processor including hardware. The optics includes a first pupil and a second pupil. The image sensor includes a first-color filter that has first transmittance characteristics, a second-color filter that has second transmittance characteristics, and a third-color filter that has third transmittance characteristics. The processor is configured to implement a correction process that corrects a pixel value that corresponds to a first color and a pixel value that corresponds to a third color based on a component value that corresponds to the overlapping region of the first transmittance characteristics and the third transmittance characteristics, and a phase difference detection process that detects the phase difference between an image formed by the corrected pixel value that corresponds to the first color and an image formed by the corrected pixel value that corresponds to the third color.

Imaging device and imaging method

The image conversion section calculates luminance values and color difference values based on pixel values of the captured image that respectively correspond to a plurality of colors, and outputs a luminance image formed by the calculated luminance values and a color difference image formed by the calculated color difference values. The estimation calculation section calculates an estimated luminance value of each pixel of a high-resolution image based on the luminance image, and calculates an estimated color difference value of each pixel of the high-resolution image based on the color difference image. The pixel value conversion section converts the estimated luminance value and the estimated color difference value into RGB pixel values of each pixel of the high-resolution image.

Imaging device and image generation method

An image processing device includes a storage section, an estimation calculation section, and an image output section. A pixel is sequentially shifted so that overlap occurs to acquire a light-receiving value of the pixel as a low-resolution frame image. The storage section stores the low-resolution frame image. The estimation calculation section estimates estimated pixel values at a pixel pitch smaller than the pixel pitch of the low-resolution frame image. The image output section outputs a high-resolution frame image that has a resolution higher than that of the low-resolution frame image based on the estimated pixel values. The estimation calculation section calculates the difference between the light-receiving value of the pixel set at a first position and the light-receiving value of the pixel set at a second position, and estimates the estimated pixel values based on the difference.

Image processing device, imaging device, information storage medium, and image processing method

Light-receiving unit is set corresponding to a plurality of pixels. The pixel values of a plurality of pixels included in the light-receiving unit are added up, and read as light-receiving value to acquire a low-resolution frame image. The image processing device includes an estimation calculation section that estimates the pixel values of the pixels included in the light-receiving unit based on a plurality of low-resolution frame images, and an image output section that outputs a high-resolution frame image based on the estimated pixel values. The light-receiving value is read while sequentially performing a pixel shift process so that light-receiving units overlap each other. The estimation calculation section estimates the pixel values of the pixels included in the light-receiving unit based on the light-receiving values obtained by performing the pixel shift process.

The present invention provides a light source apparatus and an image projection apparatus having the light source apparatus. The light source apparatus includes a lamp for emitting white illumination light, a color wheel for sequentially switching a color filter on which illumination light emitted from the lamp is incident, a wheel driving unit for controlling rotation of the color wheel, an LED light source unit for emitting at least one color of illumination light, an LED driving unit for controlling illumination light of the LED light source unit, an optical synthesis unit capable of optically synthesizing illumination light from the lamp and illumination light from the LED light source unit and emitting such synthesized illumination light, and a system controlling unit for controlling the wheel driving unit and the LED driving unit so that each illumination light synthesized can be the same in color.

An illumination apparatus illuminating an objective illumination region comprises a plurality of illuminants having light-emitting surfaces radiating diffused light, an illuminant substrate in which the illuminants are disposed so as to be set in array on the circumference, at least one optical member configured to guide the diffused light to the objective illumination region, a movable section configured to drive the optical member so as to be rotatable around the center of the circumference serving as a rotation center, and a lighting control section configured to control a light-emitting timing of the plurality of illuminants. The movable section and the lighting control section operate together such that the quantity of light per unit time of the diffused light guided to the objective illumination region is within a predetermined range.

An image projecting apparatus projects an image formed on a display device in accordance with input image data, onto a projection surface with illumination light emitted from a light source, to enable an observer to observe the image. The image projecting apparatus comprises a distribution area recognizing section configured to recognize an area in which the input image data is distributed in a color space, and a projection condition controlling section configured to convert the input image data to increase brightness of the image to be projected onto the projection surface without changing a color balance of the image, based on the area recognized by the distribution area recognizing section, and send image data obtained by conversion of the input image data to the display device, and also control brightness of illumination light emitted from the light source in connection with the conversion of the input image data.
