A gas turbine equipment utilizing high humidity, for preventing generation of white smoke throughout a year, and for restraining radiation of extra heat so as to restrain lowering of heat efficiency, the equipment comprising a humidifying device for humidifying compressed gas for combustion, a heat recovery device for recovering exhaust heat from a gas turbine or the compressed air so as to heat humidifying water in the humidifying device, a recuperator for recovering exhaust heat from the gas turbine and heating the compressed gas for combustion, a dehumidifying device for dehumidifying and recovering moisture in the exhaust gas having passed through the recuperator, and an exhaust gas reheater for heating the exhaust gas after dehumidification, and further comprising a temperature measuring device for measuring a temperature of the exhaust gas passing through the exhaust gas reheater, and a heating temperature adjusting device for increasing the heating temperature of the exhaust gas reheater if a temperature of the exhaust gas measured by the temperature measuring device is not higher than a predetermined value.

Gas turbine equipment utilizing high humidity

A gas turbine equipment includes a humidifying device for humidifying compressed gas for combustion, a heat recovery device for recovering exhaust heat from a gas turbine or the compressed air so as to heat humidifying water in the humidifying device, a recuperator for recovering exhaust heat from the gas turbine and heating the compressed gas for combustion, a dehumidifying device for dehumidifying and recovering moisture in the exhaust gas having passed through the recuperator, and an exhaust gas reheater for heating the exhaust gas after dehumidification, a temperature measuring device for measuring a temperature of the exhaust gas passing through the exhaust gas reheater, and a heating temperature adjusting device for increasing the heating temperature of the exhaust gas reheater.

A combined power plant, which has, as one of lines for supplying gas turbine cooling duty steam for cooling hot parts of a gas turbine, a line branching off from a steam line for leading high pressure steam from a high pressure superheater of a multi-pressure heat recovery steam generator to a high pressure steam turbine and leading a part of the high pressure steam to a supply line of the gas turbine cooling duty steam. The combined power plant is provided with a temperature lower limit value setting means for setting a lower limit value of an allowable temperature range for each gas turbine load and supplies a part of hot high temperature steam to the hot part of the gas turbine when the gas turbine cooling duty steam temperature is lower than the lower limit value of the allowable temperature range, thereby to raise the gas turbine cooling duty steam temperature.

Steam-cooled gas turbine combined power plant

In a gas turbine inlet air cooling system that includes a heat exchanger to cool gas turbine inlet air which is taken from the atmosphere, by using chilled cooling water and a gas turbine using gas turbine inlet air as air for combustion and a chilled refrigerant supply apparatus to supply the chilled cooling water to the heat exchanger, the gas turbine inlet air cooling system has an adjustment valve that makes the cooling water of the cooling water return pipe heated by the heat exchanger join the chilled cooling water of the cooling water supply pipe that is supplied from the chilled refrigerant supply equipment. The gas turbine inlet air cooling system detects the temperature of the cooling water that is supplied to the heat exchanger with a temperature detector and controls the temperature of the cooling water by adjusting the opening of the adjustment valve. The present invention improves the gas turbine output by repressing the occurrence of drain water in the heat exchanger controlling the chilled refrigerant temperature to be supplied to the heat exchanger that cools the gas turbine inlet air.

Gas turbine inlet air cooling system

To improve the thermal efficiency when an exhaust heat recovery type combined cycle plant having a gas turbine and a steam turbine in combination is operated at a partial load, the gas turbine exhaust is recirculated and returned to the compressor, and the combustion temperature is prevented from being lowered at the partial load. Preferably, the temperature is maintained constant. In this way, the thermal efficiency during operation at partial load can be improved.

Gas turbine exhaust recirculation method and apparatus

A gas turbine includes a compressor and a combustor having a first fuel supply system for supplying a first fuel and a second fuel supply system for supplying a second fuel lower in calorific value than the first fuel and burning compressed air and fuel supplied through switching the first fuel system and the second fuel system. A turbine is driven by combustion gas supplied from the combustor. An extraction system is provided for extracting part of the compressed air supplied from the compressor to the combustor. Control means are provided for controlling, so as to suppress a pressure change of the compressed air supplied to the combustor, by adjusting an opening of the control valve according to a calorific value of the second fuel when fuel supplied to the combustor is switched from the first fuel to the second fuel lower in calorific value than the first fuel.

Exhaust recirculation type combined plant

An operating method of a combined plant that has several gas turbines and exhaust heat recovery boilers which generate steam by exhaust gas from the gas turbines wherein exhaust gas from each of the heat recovery boilers is passed through exhaust gas ducts and discharged from a common chimney. The method includes operating a combined plant having plural axes which may be suitably started or stopped and having means for discharging exhaust gas from three or more gas turbines through one common chimney. When the pressure at a joining part of an exit duct of an exhaust heat recovery boiler is a positive pressure or the atmospheric temperature is higher than a preset atmospheric temperature, gas turbines can be re-started or stopped without back-flow of exhaust gas of the gas turbine.

Method of operating combined plant

The apparatus for cooling intake air includes a heat exchanger for transmitting the cold energy of fuel to a heat medium through an intermediate heat medium having a different property from the heat medium, a pressure controller for controlling the pressure within the heat exchanger so that a temperature of the intermediate heat medium is kept higher than a solidifying point of the heat medium, and an intake air cooling system for cooling intake air to be introduced into the gas turbine using the heat medium cold energy. The intermediate heat medium may be condensable by the cold energy of the fuel and vaporizable by the heat medium or may have a solidifying point lower than the fuel.

Gas turbine intake air cooling apparatus

A combined cycle power plant has a plurality of gas turbine units each having a gas turbine and a heat recovery boiler for generating steam from heat from exhaust gas from the gas turbine. The gas turbine of a first one of the gas turbine units is a steam-cooled gas turbine. Steam turbines are driven by steam from the heat recovery boilers. For start-up of the first gas turbine unit, cooling steam generated in a heat recovery boiler different from not being the heat recovery boiler of the first gas turbine unit is fed to the steam-cooled gas turbine to effect cooling thereof during at least part of the start-up operation of the first gas turbine unit.

Combined cycle power plant

A pressurized fluidized bed combustion combined cycle power plant has a gas turbine unit of single spindle type in which a turbine, driven by combustion gas from burning of coal in a pressurized fluidized bed combustion boiler, drives an electrical generator at constant speed and drives a compressor supplying compressed combustion air to the boiler. To permit partial load operation, a control arrangement is provided to effect, in dependence upon an operating load of the boiler, control of at least one of the flow rate of the combustion air into the boiler, and the operating pressure in the combustion chamber of the boiler. The control arrangement may be, for example, a valve controlling a by-pass flow of the combustion air and/or inlet guide vanes of the compressor.

A waste heat recovery boiler system has a plurality of waste heat recovery boilers each having a main steam generator and a reheater capable of generating main steam and reheat steam by heat derived from a hot waste gas introduced into the waste heat recovery boiler. The flows of main steam from the main steam generators are joined to form a single flow of main steam to be used in an external installation, and the flows of reheat steam from the reheaters are joined to form a single flow of reheat steam to be used in the external installation. The steam discharged from the external installation is distributed to the reheaters. Flow rate controllers are provided for controlling the flow rates of the steam through the reheaters in relation to the hot waste gas supplied to the respective waste heat recovery boilers.

Waste heat recovery boiler system

A method of operating a combined plant which is composed of a gas turbine system including a compressor into which air is introduced through an inlet guide vane, a combustor in which a fuel is burnt with the air compressed by the compressor, and a turbine into which the combustion gas is introduced to generate an output power, a waste-heat recovery boiler which generates steam by the heat possessed by the combustion exhaust gas from the gas turbine system and a steam turbine driven by the steam generated by the waste heat recovery boiler. The opening of the inlet guide vane of the gas turbine system is controlled in accordance with the state of the waste-heat recovery boiler or the steam turbine, such as the temperature of the steam introduced into the steam turbine, thermal stress generated in the steam turbine, temperature of a metallic part of the steam turbine and so forth.

Method of operating a combined plant

A reheat steam turbine power plant having a boiler with a superheater and reheater disposed therein, a high pressure steam turbine, an intermediate pressure steam turbine, a low pressure turbine, and a condenser condensing a steam exhausted through the low pressure turbine to a condensate. A turbine bypass pipe is provided with a bypass valve. A branch pipe branches off a cold reheater pipe between the check valve and the reheater is connected to the condenser for introducing steam flowing through the turbine bypass pipe. A control valve is arranged in the branch pipe and a controller controls the bypass valve and the control valve. When the turbine bypass line is operational in one of a start-up or an auxiliary operation of the power plant, the control valve and the bypass valve are controlled by the controller so that the quantity of reheat steam introduced into the reheater is controlled and excess or surplus steam is discharged to the condenser through the branch pipe.
