A current sensor includes a magnetic detection element configured to detect magnetism produced from a current path and a magnetic shield core. The magnetic shield core includes a core portion arranged so as to extend around the current path such that the current path is positioned therein, a gap portion formed by cutting a part of the core portion and in which the magnetic detection element is arranged, and at least a pair of shield portions extending from the core portion toward the outside opposite to the inside of the core portion where the current path is arranged, so as to correspond to the magnetic detection element.

Current sensor and method for manufacturing current sensor

A battery terminal unit with a current sensor includes a bus bar for a battery terminal and a receiving portion. The bus bar includes an attachment part attached to a battery post, an extension part extended from the attachment part, and a connection part which continues to the extension part and is configured to connect a wire harness. The receiving portion receives a board on which a magnetic detection element is mounted so that the board is opposed to a surface of the extension part. The attachment part, the extension part and the connection part are integrally formed. The connection part continues to the extension part through an extending portion bent from the extension part so as to be positioned laterally to the extension part.

Battery terminal unit with current sensor

A current detecting device includes a busbar, a magneto-electric converting element that outputs a signal in response to a magnetic field generated from the busbar, a housing that accommodates the busbar and the magneto-electric converting element, and a shield plate that is attached to the housing. The shield plate is formed in the U-shape in cross section in which an opening is formed between leading ends of a pair of side plates. The leading ends of the pair of side plates of the shield plate are located more inside than an opening peripheral edge of an opening portion of the outer frame portion so that a predetermined distance is secured between the leading ends of the pair of side plates of the shield plate and the opening peripheral edge of the opening portion of the outer frame portion.

Current detecting device and attaching structure thereof

A current sensor for measuring a current supplied to a conductor includes a case which accommodates an electrical parts therein, and a cover attached to the case. A groove part is provided on an outer surface of at least one of the case and the cover to allow the conductor to pass through the groove part. When the cover is attached to the case, the conductor arranged on the groove part is sandwiched between the case and the cover. A width of the groove part becomes narrower toward an interior side thereof.

Current sensor

A battery terminal includes a housing, a bus bar, a first connector, a second connector and a current detector. The housing is made by resin. The bus bar is integrally provided with the housing. The first connector is provided on the bus bar and is adapted to be connected with a battery. The current detector is provided on the bus bar. The second connector is provided on the bus bar. The second connector is adapted to be connected with a harness, and is disposed at a position offset from a straight line passing the first connector and the current detector.

An assembling structure of a current detection apparatus includes: a bus bar; a sensor main body having a magnetism detection element which detects a magnetism generated from the bus bar; a housing having a sensor compartment which accommodates the sensor main body; a magnetism shield member mounted externally on the housing; a cover that holds the bus bar and the magnetism shield member by the at least part of the upper surface of the cover and the lower surface of the housing therebetween; a projecting portion formed on the cover, which projects upwards from the upper surface of the cover; a hole formed in the bus bar, through which the projecting portion of the cover is inserted; and a hole formed in the lower surface of the housing, which is adapted to fit on the projecting portion which passes through the hole in the bus bar.

Assembling structure of current detection apparatus

A current sensor which can measure accurately current of a wide range, at low cost. A C-shaped shield plate is positioned around a flow direction of a current of the bus bar. When the current flows through the bus bar, magnetic flux density of a magnetic field is generated. A magneto-electronic conversion element detects the magnetic flux density of the magnetic field, and converts the magnetic flux density into an electric signal. Furthermore, the magneto-electronic conversion element is arranged near a position where the previously measured magnetic flux density of the magnetic field, which is generated when a current flows through the bus bar, is minimized between the conductor and the shield plate.
