A feed unit includes: a power transmission section configured to perform power transmission with use of a magnetic field or an electronic field; a power limiting section provided on a power supply line from an external power source to the power transmission section; and an operation stop section configured to forcibly stop the power transmission. The operation stop section forcibly stops the power transmission when a voltage between an input and an output of the power limiting section exceeds a first threshold. The power limiting section forcibly interrupts power supply to the power transmission section when the voltage between the input and the output exceeds a second threshold that is larger than the first threshold.

A feed unit includes: a power transmission section configured to perform power transmission with use of a magnetic field or an electronic field; a power limiting section provided on a power supply line from an external power source to the power transmission section; and a control section provided on a side closer to the external power source than the power limiting section, and including a power transmission control section, the power transmission control section being configured to control the power transmission.

There is provided a visual line detection device including at least one light source configured to radiate light to an eyeball of a user observing a display surface through at least one optical member, and an imaging unit configured to acquire a captured image of the eyeball used to detect a visual line of the user on the display surface by detecting reflected light of the light from the eyeball. The reflected right from the eyeball passes through at least the optical member installed in an optical path along which the light from the display surface travels from the display surface to the eyeball of the user, and is incident on the imaging unit.

A picture recording and reproducing method in which thumbnail picture data can be read out promptly. At step S , an area is secured from the outer rim side of a magnetic disc for setting a recording area for a main picture file. At step S , a floppy disc controller (FDC) is controlled to write a main picture file by a floppy disc drive (FDD) in the area on the magnetic disc as determined at step S . At step S , an area is secured from the inner rim side of the magnetic disc for setting a recording area for a thumbnail picture file. At step S , the FDC is controlled to write a thumbnail picture file by the floppy disc drive (FDD) in the area on the magnetic disc as determined at step S . This alternately records the main picture file and the thumbnail picture file from both ends of the data area of the magnetic disc.

Apparatus and method for thumbnail picture data readout

In the disc controlling system, a buffer memory stores sector by sector data read from a disc or data to be written to the disc. A memory controller allows a floppy disc drive to intermittently read sector by sector data from the disc for supply to the buffer memory or intermittently write sector by sector to the disc data supplied from the buffer memory. When the floppy disc drive is not writing data to or reading data from the disc, data read from the disc is supplied sector by sector from the buffer memory to the system bus or data to be written to the disc is supplied sector by sector to the buffer memory from the system bus.
