A solenoid valve includes a main valve having a valve seat and a main valve body configured to open or close a main flow passage, a pilot passage that branches from the main flow passage, an orifice provided in the pilot passage, a back-pressure chamber configured to bias the main valve body to a closing direction by virtue of an internal pressure, a pilot valve configured to control an internal pressure of the back-pressure chamber, and a solenoid configured to control a valve opening pressure of the pilot valve. There is a time difference between a valve opening timing of the main valve and a valve opening timing of the pilot valve such that the valve opening timing of the main valve is delayed from the valve opening timing of the pilot valve.

Solenoid valve

A solenoid valve includes a valve seat provided in a main flow passage, a main valve body configured to open or close the main flow passage, a pilot passage that branches from the main flow passage, an orifice provided in the pilot passage, a back-pressure chamber connected to the pilot passage downstream from the orifice to bias the main valve body to a closing direction by virtue of an internal pressure, a pilot valve disposed in the pilot passage downstream from a connection point to the back-pressure chamber to control an internal pressure of the back-pressure chamber, a solenoid configured to control a valve opening pressure of the pilot valve, and a second orifice provided between the back-pressure chamber and the pilot valve.

A damping valve includes a valve seat member that includes a port and a first valve seat, a shaft member disposed on the valve seat member, an annular main valve element that is mounted on the shaft member, seats on and separates from the first valve seat, and includes a second valve seat on an opposite side of the valve seat member, a sub valve element that is mounted on the shaft member, and seats on and separates from the second valve seat, a valve-element-between chamber that is disposed between the main valve element and the sub valve element, and on an inner peripheral side of the second valve seat, a restrictive passage that causes the port to be communicated with the valve-element-between chamber to provide a resistance to a flow of a passing fluid, a main valve element biasing part biasing the main valve element to the valve seat member side, and a sub valve element biasing part biasing the sub valve element to the main valve element side. The restrictive passage is formed of a ring-shaped gap between the main valve element and the shaft member.

Damping valve

A hydraulic shock absorber includes: an expansion-side passage and a contraction-side passage that connect an expansion-side chamber with a contraction-side chamber; an expansion-side valve body configured to open or close the expansion-side passage; a contraction-side valve body configured to open or close the contraction-side passage; an expansion-side back-pressure chamber configured to bias the expansion-side valve body; a contraction-side back-pressure chamber configured to bias the contraction-side valve body; a communicating channel communicating with the expansion-side back-pressure chamber through an expansion-side resistance element, and with the contraction-side back-pressure chamber through a contraction-side resistance element; an expansion-side pressure introduction passage connecting the expansion-side chamber with the contraction-side back-pressure chamber; a contraction-side pressure introduction passage connecting the contraction-side chamber with the expansion-side back-pressure chamber; a regulating passage connected to the communicating channel; and a solenoid pressure control valve in the regulating passage to control a pressure in the upstream of the regulating passage.

Hydraulic shock absorber

A damping valve includes a main valve opening and closing a main passage, and a pilot passage reducing a pressure of the upstream of the main passage by a throttle to guide as a back-pressure biasing the main valve to the closing direction. A pressure control valve being disposed on the downstream of the throttle and including a seating portion controlling the back-pressure, and a switching valve including a circular depressed portion opening and closing the pilot passage are integrated and controlled by a single solenoid. The damping valve includes fail passages being branched from the downstream of the throttle to bypass the main valve, and a fail valve opening and closing the fail passage. The switching valve is arranged on the upstream of the pressure control valve in the pilot passage. The fail passages are branched from the upstream of the switching valve of the pilot passage.

A damping valve includes a valve seat member, a valve body, a back-pressure chamber, a pilot passage, and a pilot valve, wherein the pilot valve has a pilot valve seat member and a pilot valve body, the pilot valve seat member having an cylindrical valve container provided with a penetrating hole connecting the inside and the outside, the penetrating hole communicating with the port, and an annular pilot valve seat provided in an end of the valve container, and the pilot valve body having a large diameter portion, a small diameter portion slidably inserted into the valve container, and a concave portion provided between the large diameter portion and the small diameter portion to face the penetrating hole, and an end of the large diameter portion is seated on or unseated from the pilot valve seat to open or close the pilot passage.

A suspension device includes damper interposed between vehicle body and wheel in vehicle and exerted damping force for suppressing vertical movements of vehicle body and wheel, damping force adjustment mechanism adjusts damping force, control device controls damping force adjustment mechanism, lateral acceleration detection unit detects an lateral acceleration acting on vehicle body, roll angular velocity detection unit detects roll angular velocity of vehicle body, and steering angular velocity detection unit detects steering angular velocity of steering wheel. The control device sets maximum damping force out of damping force calculated from steering angular velocity, damping force calculated from lateral acceleration and damping force calculated from roll angular velocity as steering initial stage additional damping force, calculates final damping force of damper using steering initial stage additional damping force and performs steering initial stage control of controlling damper when steering angular velocity exceeds predetermined dead band.

Suspension device

Provision of a fail-safe circuit which is capable of allowing a sub circuit to operate with reliability when a main circuit encounters abnormal conditions even in a system with only one supply source of pressure oil. A plurality of solenoid type control valves ( ) connected to an actuator ( ) in parallel have centering springs respectively and are maintained at a neutral position in normal conditions. Each control valve is provided with a supply port, a return port and two actuator ports and is configured such that in the neutral position, the supply port and the return port are communicated with each other and interrupts communication with the actuator ports. And also, while the supply port ( ) of the most upstream control valve ( ) is connected to a supply source (P) and the return port ( ) of the most downstream control valve ( ) is connected to a tank (T), a return port ( ) of each control valve is connected a supply port ( ) of a control valve ( ) located downstream from and adjacent to the connected return port ( ).

Fail-safe circuit

The invention relates to a device that interrupts electric power to a driving circuit when a system failure is detected. A fail-safe mechanism is provided with a main switch circuit connected between a driving power source and a driver circuit; a sub switch circuit connected between the driving power source and the main switch circuit, and maintaining an OFF state in normal times; a timer circuit allowing the sub switch circuit for a predetermined time period after the driving power source is turned on; a failure detector circuit connected between the main switch circuit and a controller; and a sub switch control means bringing the sub switch circuit to an OFF state when the feeding of electric current is cut off. The main switch circuit is turned OFF when the failure detector circuit detects an abnormal condition of the controller.
