A recording tape cartridge which comprises a lid member mounted on a cartridge case to rotate between a closed position and an opened position, clearance means defined in one corner of the cartridge case and a lid locking means provided in the clearance means for locking the lid member in the closed position. The lateral width of the clearance means is wider in its front portion than that in its rear portion.

Recording tape cassette

A recording tape cartridge which comprises a cartridge case and a lid member, having a front plate, rotatably mounted on the cartridge case so as to be rotatable between a closed position and an opened position. An opening is defined in the bottom portion of the front plate of the lid member for receiving a standard pin of a recording device and butting means projecting from the front end of the bottom wall of the cartridge case to protrude into the opening of the lid member up to a position substantially corresponding to one half the thickness of the front plate when the lid member is in the closed position.

A magnetic recording tape cartridge having a rotatable lid member on a front face of the cartridge such as a video tape cassette which comprises an engaging member projecting from the lid member to the interior of the cartridge case, a movable locking member detouchably engaged with the engaging member of the lid member to lock the lid member in a closed position and to release the engagement of the locking member from the engaging member, and a throughhole defined to allow passage of a lock releasing pin of a recording/reproducing apparatus.

Magnetic recording tape cartridge

A magnetic recording tape cartridge comprising a top section and a bottom section assembled together to define a chamber therebetween for containing a pair of tape reels each of which is resiliently supported by a spring plate member, the base portion of which is fixed onto the top section, wherein the improvement comprises a partition wall means for separating at least the base portion of the spring plate member from the chamber.

A magnetic recording tape cartridge having a top section and a bottom section, each assembled together by means of tapping screws to provide a tape chamber in which a pair of tape reels for winding a magnetic recording tape is contained with one of the tapping screws adapted to be engaged with a boss located on the central portion of the cartridge near the tape reel. The cartridge comprises a partition wall member situated between the tape reels and the boss located in the central portion so that scraps produced from the boss during tapping of the screw into the boss are prevented from entering onto the magnetic recording tape.

A magnetic recording tape cartridge having means for placing the cartridge in a standard position of a tape player by means of at least one standard pin provided in the tape player, said cartridge comprising a pair of through-holes defined in the bottom part of the cartridge case with a diameter fairly larger than the diameter of the standard pin and a positioning means comprising a movable member biassed to oppose the through-hole by means of a resilient member so that when the standard pin is inserted into the through-hole the standard pin is clamped by the movable member and the inner wall of the hole to secure the cartridge in the standard position.
