An information processing system includes a vehicle and a server that is communicatively connected to the vehicle. The vehicle is configured to acquire position information of the vehicle, to acquire driving information of a driver of the vehicle, and to detect occurrence of a traffic accident associated with the vehicle. When a notification of occurrence of a traffic accident is received from the vehicle, the server is configured to calculate a driving skill level of the driver based on the driving information, to store provision information in which the position information of a point at which the traffic accident has occurred is correlated with the driving skill level and the number of times of occurrence of a traffic accident at the point, and to provide the provision information to an insurance company.

A vehicle is configured to image, with an outside camera, an identification mark associated with a content provided by a service provider, output the content associated with the imaged identification mark to an occupant in a cabin of the vehicle, acquire operation information on the occupant relating to the output content, and acquire information regarding the occupant when the occupant performs operation relating to the content in the vehicle cabin. An information processing apparatus is configured to, when determining that the output content is not selected by the occupant based on the operation information on the occupant, determine whether or not to update the content that is not selected, based on the information regarding the occupant.

An information processing system includes a vehicle and an information processing device configured to transmit and receive information to and from the vehicle. The vehicle is configured to acquire information on an occupant in a cabin of the vehicle, and operate to affect a perception of the occupant. An information processing system includes a vehicle and an information processor that acquires information acquired by the vehicle from the vehicle. A management system according to the present disclosure is a management system that manages a travel plan of a vehicle that is capable of traveling on a road and a railway track, and includes controller that creates the travel plan of the vehicle. In a case where there is a route candidate track that is a railway track that is possibly used as a travel route of the vehicle, the controller acquires a railway operation schedule for the route candidate track, and determines whether the route candidate track can be used as the travel route of the vehicle, based on the operation schedule. A server apparatus capable of communicating with a plurality of vehicles each of which carries a vibration control apparatus for attenuating vibration by adjusting a parameter that affects a predetermined acceleration so that the predetermined acceleration approaches a target acceleration is disclosed. The server apparatus acquires traveling data including a magnitude of the predetermined acceleration generated in each of the vehicles and the target acceleration set for the vehicle every time when each of the vehicles travels on each of sections of a previously divided road, and accumulates the acquired traveling data while being correlated with section identification information. Then, the server apparatus sets the target acceleration which is adequate for each of the vehicles to travel on a scheduled traveling section on the basis of the accumulated traveling data, and transmits the set target acceleration to the vehicle scheduled to travel on the scheduled traveling section.

Server apparatus for attenuating vibration of the vehicle

In a semiconductor device manufacturing method, an insulating layer is formed on a front surface of a semiconductor substrate. Trenches are formed in the substrate by using the insulating layer as a mask so that a first portion of the insulating layer is located on the front surface between the trenches and that a second portion of the insulating layer is located on the front surface at a position other than between the trenches. The entire first portion is removed, and the second portion around an opening of each trench is removed. The trenches are filled with an epitaxial layer by epitaxially growing the epitaxial layer over the front surface side. The front surface side is polished by using the remaining second portion as a polishing stopper.
