There is provided an imaging lens with excellent optical characteristics while satisfying demand of wide field of view. An imaging lens comprises, in order from an object side to an image side, a first lens with negative refractive power in a paraxial region, a second lens with positive or negative refractive power having an object-side surface being concave in a paraxial region, a third lens with positive refractive power having a biconvex shape with convex surfaces on the object side and the image side in a paraxial region, and a fourth lens with positive refractive power having an image-side surface being convex in a paraxial region, and predetermined conditional expressions are satisfied.

There is provided an imaging lens with excellent optical characteristics which satisfies demand of low profile and low F-number. An imaging lens comprising in order from an object side to an image side, a first lens with positive refractive power having an object-side surface being convex in a paraxial region, a second lens with negative refractive power having an object-side surface being convex in a paraxial region, a third lens with positive or negative refractive power in a paraxial region, a fourth lens with negative refractive power in a paraxial region, and a fifth lens with positive refractive power having an image-side surface being convex in a paraxial region, and predetermined conditional expressions are satisfied.

There is provided an imaging lens with excellent optical characteristics while satisfying demand of low-profileness and low F-number. An imaging lens comprises, in order from an object side to an image side, a first lens with positive refractive power formed in a biconvex shape having an object-side surface and an image-side surface being convex in a paraxial region, a second lens with negative refractive power in a paraxial region, a third lens with the negative refractive power in a paraxial region, a fourth lens with the negative refractive power in a paraxial region, and a fifth lens with the positive refractive power having an image-side surface being convex in a paraxial region, and predetermined conditional expressions are satisfied.

There is provided an imaging lens which is compact and corresponds to wide field of view, and achieves excellent optical performance. An imaging lens comprises in order from an object side to an image side, a first lens having a convex surface facing an image side and positive refractive power, a second lens having a concave surface facing the image side near an optical axis and negative refractive power, a third lens having the convex surface facing the image side and the positive refractive power, and a fourth lens being a meniscus lens having the convex surface facing an object side near the optical axis and having the negative refractive power, wherein said fourth lens is a double-sided aspheric lens and has a pole point at an off-axial position on the image-side surface, and a below conditional expression (1) is satisfied:0.5&#x3c;&#x3a3;/TTL&#x3c;0.9&#x2003;&#x2003;(1)where&#x3a3;d: distance along the optical axis from an object-side surface of the first lens to an image-side surface of the fourth lens, andTTL: total track length.

It is possible to (i) cause a sixth lens to more effectively correct various aberrations and (ii) make an optical overall length shorter. A first lens (L) has positive refractive power. A fifth lens (L) and a sixth lens (L) each have negative refractive power. An object-side surface (LF) of the first lens (L) is a convex surface. At least one of an object-side surface and an image plane-side surface of each of a second lens (L), a third lens (L), a fourth lens (L), and the fifth lens (L) is an aspheric surface. An object-side surface (LF) of the sixth lens (L) is a concave surface and is an aspheric surface. An image plane-side surface (LR) of the sixth lens (L) is an optically planar surface throughout a region corresponding to an effective diameter of the image plane-side surface (LR) of the sixth lens (L).

There is provided an imaging lens which is low-profile, has a small f-value, and obtains wide field of view which aberrations are properly corrected, in order from an object side to an image side, comprising a first lens having positive refractive power and a convex surface on an object side near an optical axis, a second lens having negative refractive power and a concave surface on the object side near the optical axis, a third lens having positive refractive power and a convex surface on the image side as a double-sided aspheric lens and a fourth lens having negative refractive power and a concave surface on an image side near the optical axis as a double-sided aspheric lens, wherein a conditional expression (1) below is satisfied:8.5&#x3c;&#x3c;1.0&#x2003;&#x2003;(1)

A compact, wide view-field imaging lens with a small F-value which corrects aberrations properly. Its elements are arranged in order from an object side to an image side: an aperture stop, positive first lens having convex surfaces on the object and image sides, negative second lens having a concave object-side surface near an optical axis, positive meniscus third lens having a convex image-side surface, and negative meniscus double-sided aspheric fourth lens having a concave image-side surface near the optical axis. A compact, small F-value imaging lens with a wide field of view which corrects aberrations properly.
