A power source device includes a capacitive load; and an AC power source, as a voltage source, which applies AC voltage to the capacitive load. A series circuit composed of an inductor and a capacitor is connected to the AC power source. A series circuit composed of a load inductor and the capacitive load is connected in parallel to one of the inductor or the capacitor. If an inductance of the inductor is defined as Lp, a capacitance of the capacitor is defined as Cp, an inductance of the load inductor is defined as Ls, an equivalent capacitance of the capacitive load is defined as Cs, and a frequency of the AC power source is defined as fv, the following expressions are satisfied,0.8/((2π·){circumflex over ( )}2)<<1.2/((2π·){circumflex over ( )}2)0.8/((2π·){circumflex over ( )}2)<<1.2/((2π·){circumflex over ( )}2).

Power source device

A laser beam generation device includes power supply units, LD modules, a combiner, and a control device. The LD modules receive currents from the power supply units, and output laser beams. The combiner collects the laser beams and outputs one laser beam. The control device generates control signals such that power of the laser beam becomes a laser output setting value and such that the currents become current command values. Phases of pulses of the control signals are shifted from each other by 60 degrees.

Laser beam generation device and laser processing apparatus including the same

A pulse power supply device includes pulse power supplies each of which outputs a monopolar pulse voltage, and transformers. The transformers include primary windings, secondary windings, and tertiary windings, and one pulse power supply is connected to one primary winding on a one-to-one basis. The secondary windings are sequentially connected in series, and a load is connected to both ends of the secondary windings. The tertiary windings are sequentially connected in series, and a magnetic reset circuit is connected to both ends of the tertiary windings. The magnetic reset circuit includes a magnetic reset power supply and an impedance changing circuit that is for limiting an induced current that can be caused to flow by a voltage induced in the tertiary windings. An impedance changing circuit is configured to be able to change an impedance.

Pulse power supply device

A power supply device includes: 'm&#xd7;n' switching elements; capacitors connected in series to corresponding ones of the switching elements and forming 'm&#xd7;n' series circuits; a charger charging the capacitors; &#x201c;m&#x201d; transformers in which primary windings are connected to both ends of corresponding ones of &#x201c;m&#x201d; parallel circuits formed by connecting &#x201c;n&#x201d; units of the series circuits in parallel to one another with the polarity aligned; a current detection unit detecting, as a detected current value, current flowing through a multistage series circuit in which secondary windings of the transformers are sequentially connected in series so that both ends of the circuit serve as output terminals; a control unit outputting a command signal generated based on the detected current value and a current command being a target value of the current output from the output terminals; and a drive unit driving the switching elements and the charger based on the command signal.

Power supply device

A temperature estimating apparatus is provided with: a deriving device configured to derive a slope function, on the basis of a value of a complex impedance of a battery at a predetermined frequency out of values obtained at a plurality of different temperatures and on the basis of a temperature of the battery when the complex impedance is obtained, wherein the slope function indicates a relation between the value of the complex impedance at the predetermined frequency and an inverse of the temperature of the battery; and an estimator configured (i) to measure a value of the complex impedance at the predetermined frequency and (ii) to substitute the measured value of the complex impedance at the predetermined frequency into the slope function, thereby estimating a temperature of the battery when the value of the complex impedance is measured.

Temperature estimating apparatus

A laser diode driving power source of a laser machining device that radiates laser light emitted from an LD to a workpiece to machine the workpiece includes a power converter including a switching device, to supply a current to the LD, and a control unit to control a switching operation of the switching device. A value smaller than a value that is n times a time constant for laser machining is set as a switching period of the switching device in the control unit, the n is larger than 1, and the time constant for laser machining is a value obtained by dividing a surface roughness required for machining of the workpiece by a moving velocity of the workpiece.

Laser diode driving power source and laser machining device

A battery state estimating apparatus is provided with: an acquirer configured to obtain a plurality of complex impedances of a battery at a plurality of different temperatures; a calculator configured to calculate a slope of a straight line connecting values of the obtained plurality of complex impedances at a first predetermined frequency on a complex plane having an axis that is a real component of the complex impedance and an axis that is an imaginary component of the complex impedance, as a slope of the complex impedance; a storage configured to store in advance a relation between the slope of the complex impedance and a battery state associated with the battery; and an estimator configured to estimate the battery state on the basis of the calculated slope of the complex impedance and the stored relation.

Battery state estimating apparatus

A battery state estimating apparatus is provided with; a voltage detector configured to detect a voltage between a positive electrode and a negative electrode of a battery; an impedance detector configured to detect an impedance of the battery; a first estimator configured to estimate a first temporary value of a charge amount of the battery; a second estimator configured to estimate a second temporary value of the charge amount of the battery; and a determinator configured (i) to determine that the first temporary value is the charge amount of the battery if the first temporary value or the second temporary value is out of a predetermined range, and (ii) to determine that the second temporary value, or a corrected value of the first temporary value is the charge amount of the battery if the first temporary value or the second temporary value is within the predetermined range.

A battery state estimating apparatus is provided with: an acquirer configured to obtain complex impedances of a battery at a different temperatures; a calculator configured to calculate a slope of a first straight line or a slope of a second straight line as an impedance slope, wherein the first straight line connects values of the complex impedances at a first predetermined frequency, wherein the second straight line connects a convergence point and at least one of values of the plurality of complex impedances at a second predetermined frequency; and an estimator configured to estimate a battery state associated with the battery on the basis of the impedance slope and a relation stored in a storage, if it is determined by a determinator that a temperature of the battery is in a predetermined temperature area.

A laser diode-driving power supply includes a constant current source that supplies current to LDs, a switching element connected in parallel to the LDs, and a control unit that controls the constant current source and performs on-off control of the switching element. The control unit compares a first current command value and a second current command value for controlling current output from the constant current source, and when the second current command value input after the first current command value is smaller than the first current command value, applies to the LDs a voltage in the range of a voltage at which current flows through the LDs to a voltage less than the lasing threshold of the LDs when there is no output from the LDs.

Laser diode-driving power supply and laser machining apparatus

A battery state estimating apparatus is provided with: an acquirer configured to obtain a complex impedance of a battery; a calculator configured to calculate a ratio of a variation of a predetermined feature amount regarding the complex impedance; and an estimator configured to estimate a charge amount of the battery on the basis of the ratio of the variation of the predetermined feature amount with respect to an integrated current value, which is an integrated value of an electric current flowing through the battery.

A power supply apparatus includes a power supply for supplying power to a laser oscillator. A reactor has one end serially connected to the laser oscillator and another end serially connected to the power supply, and a parallel diode configures a closed circuit for serial connection of the laser oscillator and the reactor. A current detector detects a current flowing in the reactor, and a first switching device is connected in parallel to the laser oscillator and drives the laser oscillator with pulses. An energy consumption circuit prefetches a current command value based on a control signal from a controller upon driving the laser oscillator with pulses, and when the current command value is smaller than a current command value of a previous pulse, the energy consumption circuit consumes energy until the current command value reaches a predetermined target current value.

Power supply apparatus for driving laser diode provided with power supply for supplying power to laser oscillator

A current control device for controlling, on the basis of a current command value input from an external device, a light-emitting unit current flowing from a power supply device to a light-emitting unit that includes one or a plurality of laser diodes, includes: a switching element coupled in parallel to the light-emitting unit; and a pulse-width-modulation control circuit unit to provide pulse width modulation control of the switching element in a case in which an output current output from the power supply device is greater than a present current command value or a next current command value upon a start of supply of, upon a termination of supply of, or during supply of, the light-emitting unit current.
