Non-organic solvent, non-polluting and stable emulsions of modified chlorinated polyolefins are prepared by dissolving chlorinated polyolefins and oligomers of a (metha)acrylate system uniformly in a (metha)acrylate monomer in the presence or absence of catalyst or chain transfer moderator, and suspension polymerization is achieved in an aqueous solvent. The obtained suspensions are stable more than 3 months at room temperature, and these emulsions give one coat coating films and primer coating films which have good properties such as good adhesion, and waterproof and weatherproof properties.

Manufacture of the emulsion of synthetic resin composites

The present invention concerns the polyolefin resin compositions wherein acrylic oligomers, polydiene and chlorinated polyolefins which contain 10-60 weight % chlorine are graft copolymerized. Films of the polyolefin resin compositions have good adhesive properties, moisture-resistant properties and appearance.

Modified chlorinated polyolefin compositions containing, as a main ingredient, a modified chlorinated polyolefin which is obtained by reacting together, in an organic solution, a chlorinated polyolefin, maleic acid anhydride, a (meth)acryl-modified hydrogenated polybutadiene and an organic peroxide. The modified chlorinated polyolefin compositions may be used in coating compositions, adhesives for polyolefines and as printing ink binders.

Modified chlorinated polyolefin composites

Polyolefin type coating resin compositions obtained by copolymerizing acrylic type oligomers, polydienes, acrylic type monomers and chlorinated polyolefins containing 10-60 weight % chlorine in the existence or the absence of the Hardener. The obtained copolymers are used for coatings, printing inks or adhesives applying as one coat finish or primer to give excellent coating films of adhesive property, solvent resistance and the appearance.
