A vehicle-mounted device installed in a vehicle comprising a mobile terminal communication unit that communicates with a mobile terminal located inside the vehicle, and a control unit that provides an interface for operating the vehicle-mounted device from the mobile terminal, wherein the control unit compares a vehicle interior image taken inside the vehicle interior with a facial image of the user of the mobile terminal and changes the interface provided to the mobile terminal based on the determined seating position of the user. The vehicle-mounted device further comprises a display unit, wherein the control unit causes the mobile terminal to display expanded display details on the display unit if the seating position is in a front seat, and causes the mobile terminal to display the same display details as those on the display unit if the seating position is other than one in a front seat.

A user's position inside a passenger compartment is judged easily and reliably and control according to the user's position is provided. An in-vehicle apparatus control system includes a server and an in-vehicle apparatus and is configured to communicate with a mobile terminal, such as a smart phone, that is located within the vehicle. The in-vehicle apparatus control system includes a storage unit that stores a face image of a user of the mobile terminal by associating the face image with identification information of the mobile terminal. The system also includes a seated position judgment unit that judges a seated position of the user by means of facial recognition to evaluate an inside passenger compartment image and the face image. The in-vehicle apparatus executes control according to the seated position of the user of the mobile terminal when accepting a specified control request from the mobile terminal.

An information displaying device comprises: an input unit that receives operations from a user; a movement state evaluating unit that evaluates a state of movement of the mobile entity; a display information generating unit that generates screen information including UI elements (user interface elements) to be displayed on a display, based on a layout selected from layouts according to the evaluated state of movement of the mobile entity; and an operation detecting unit that detects the operations on each of the UI elements, and counts frequency of the operations on each of the UI elements while the movement state evaluating unit evaluates that the mobile entity is traveling; wherein, in the screen information based on the layout selected when the mobile entity is traveling, the UI elements with higher frequencies of the operations, which are detected by the operation detecting unit, are preferentially displayed on the screen of the display.

In a headrest including a core member, an acoustic speaker, and an acoustic microphone, the acoustic microphone is provided in a recessed portion provided in the core member, and a sound collection surface of the acoustic microphone is provided in a position rearward of a vibrating surface of the acoustic speaker. An opening at a tip end of the recessed portion can be provided in a position forward of a tip end of the vibrating surface of the acoustic speaker. The recessed portion can be formed into a shape that narrows from the opening toward a bottom surface. Even when the acoustic microphone is provided near to the acoustic speaker, accuracy of voice recognition by the acoustic microphone can be prevented from being reduced.
