A rotor of a rotating electrical machine includes a substantially annular rotor core and a plurality of magnetic pole portions formed at predetermined intervals in a circumferential direction of the rotor core. Each magnetic pole portion includes an outer diameter side magnet portion configured by an outer diameter side circular arc magnet arranged so as to protrude radially inward and an inner diameter side magnet portion located radially inward of the outer diameter side magnet portion and configured by a pair of inner diameter side arc magnets arranged so as to radially inward of the radially outer magnet portion. Each arc magnet is an arc magnet in which an inner peripheral surface and an outer peripheral surface have the same arc center.

Rotor of rotating electrical machine and arc magnet manufacturing method

A rotor includes: a rotor core having: a plurality of magnet insertion holes; and a punched portion; and a plurality of magnetic pole portions. The punched portion is provided so as to pinch a q-axis magnetic path of each magnet pole portion in the radial direction with the plurality of magnet pole portions. The punched portion includes: a first punched hole located on a d-axis of each magnet pole portion; a pair of second punched holes facing each other across the first punched hole in the circumferential direction; and a pair of ribs formed between the first punched hole and the pair of second punched holes. The pair of ribs is provided such that a distance between the pair of ribs is increased from an outer side to an inner side in the radial direction.

Rotor

A rotor includes: a rotor core including a rotor shaft hole in which a rotor shaft is fastened, a plurality of magnet insertion holes provided along the circumferential direction, and a hollow hole provided between the rotor shaft hole and the magnet insertion holes in the radial direction; and a plurality of magnetic pole portions constituted by permanent magnets inserted into the magnet insertion holes. The hollow hole includes an intersection of the q-axis of each magnetic pole portion and a virtual circle passing through the innermost diameter portion of the magnet insertion holes around the axis of the rotor core, and the hollow hole is disposed to face the magnet insertion holes of adjacent magnetic pole portions.

In an electric vehicle including a motor shaft connected to a drive motor, a counter shaft coupled with the motor shaft, a drive shaft coupled with the counter shaft, a drive wheel coupled with the drive shaft, a plurality of bearings configured to support the counter shaft, and a plurality of gears configured to rotate integrally with the counter shaft, a torque sensor is disposed in a region in which a slope of a bending moment occurring on the counter shaft is minimum at a time that the drive motor is driven.

Electric vehicle

A motor unit includes a drive motor having an output shaft with a hollow portion, and a torque sensor arranged inside the hollow portion. The output shaft is formed by a magnetic body. A vehicle can include the motor unit. The drive motor can be a traction motor that generates traction drive force of the vehicle, for example.

Motor unit and vehicle

A rotor of a rotating electrical machine includes a rotor core, a plurality of magnetic pole portions arranged along a circumferential direction, and a plurality of arc magnets constituting the magnetic pole portions. Each magnetic pole portion includes a magnet portion of at least two layers along a radial direction. In front view, the rotor core includes an outer diameter side magnet insertion hole, an inner diameter side magnet insertion hole, and a refrigerant flow path hole provided between an outer diameter side magnet portion and an inner diameter side magnet portion to overlap a d-axis. A minimum width of a magnetic path formed between the outer diameter side magnet insertion hole and the refrigerant flow path hole is equal to or larger than a minimum width of a magnetic path formed between the outer diameter side magnet insertion hole and the inner diameter side magnet insertion hole.

Rotor of rotating electrical machine

An electric vehicle includes a second rotating electric machine; a first transmission path configured to transmit force generated by the second rotating electric machine to a wheel; a first clutch that is arranged in the first transmission path and configured to switch between a connected state and a disconnected state between the second rotating electric machine and the wheel; and an ECU configured to control the second rotating electric machine and the first clutch. In the electric vehicle, a torque sensor is arranged between the first clutch and the wheel in the first transmission path.

A sensor unit includes a shaft having a hollow portion and a torque sensor that is arranged inside the hollow portion and detects torsional torque acting on the shaft from inside the shaft. A motor unit can include the sensor unit and a drive motor. A vehicle can include the motor unit. A drive motor can be a traction motor that generates a traction drive force for the vehicle, for example.

Sensor unit, motor unit, and vehicle

A drive motor includes a torque sensor on an outer circumference of a shaft. The drive motor includes a rotor, a rotor shaft arranged inside the rotor, and an output shaft that is joined to the rotor shaft by a joint having a loose element. In the drive motor, the output shaft outputs rotational force of the rotor shaft to the output side. The torque sensor is arranged on an upstream side of the joint in a range not overlapping with the joint.

Vehicular drive system

A rotor of a rotary electric machine includes a rotor core of an approximately annular shape which has plural sets of plural magnet insertion holes arranged radially, the plural sets being arranged in a circumferential direction with a predetermined gap, and plural permanent magnets which are inserted into the magnet insertion holes, respectively. Each permanent magnet has a circular arc shape in a radial section, and a curved surface thereof is convex toward a rotation shaft of the rotor. Plural permanent magnets which are respectively inserted into the radially arranged plural magnet insertion holes in each set includes a first permanent magnet which is positioned on an outer circumferential surface side and a second permanent magnet which is positioned on a rotation shaft side and has a radial thickness equal to or larger than a radial thickness of the first permanent magnet.

Rotor of rotary electric machine

A vehicle is equipped with a torque sensor configured to detect a torque, and which is disposed on a second transmission path connecting a first rotary electric machine and a first branch point on a first transmission path. When a first switching device is placed in a connected state and a vehicle wheel is driven by an internal combustion engine, a control device causes an inverted phase torque, which is opposite in phase to a detected torque detected by the torque sensor, to be generated in the first rotary electric machine.

Vehicle and control method for vehicle

A motor unit including a drive motor that includes an output shaft having a hollow portion; a torque sensor arranged within the hollow portion; and a cooling mechanism. The cooling mechanism has one end of a coolant path arranged inside the hollow portion and cools the drive motor and the torque sensor. A vehicle can include the motor unit. The drive motor can act as a traction motor generating traction drive force of the vehicle.

A vehicle is equipped with a torque sensor configured to detect a torque, and which is disposed between an internal combustion engine and a first switching device on a first transmission path. When the first switching device is switched from a disconnected state to a connected state, a control device calculates a torque difference between a target torque of the internal combustion engine corresponding to a specified point on the first transmission path, and a detected torque or the like detected by the torque sensor. Further, the control device generates in a first rotary electric machine or a second rotary electric machine a compensation torque that compensates for the torque difference.

Hybrid vehicle and control method for hybrid vehicle

An electric motor includes a rotor and a stator core. The rotor has an outer circumferential wall around a rotational axis. The rotor includes a magnet and a groove. The magnet has a magnetic pole center. The groove is provided in the outer circumferential wall to be recessed toward the rotational axis to have a bottom point. An angle between a first virtual line connecting the bottom point of the groove and the rotational axis and a second virtual line connecting the magnetic pole center and the rotational axis viewed along the rotational axis is from 30% to 47% of an electric angle of 90 degrees. The stator core includes an inner circumferential wall. The stator core includes teeth projecting from the inner circumferential wall toward the stator axis. A cross-sectional shape of each teeth includes a first protrusion and a second protrusion.

Electric motor

A drive motor in which a torque sensor is arranged on an outer circumference of a shaft, includes a rotor, a rotor shaft arranged inside the rotor, and an output shaft that is joined to the rotor shaft by a spline joint and outputs rotational force of the rotor shaft to the output side. The torque sensor is arranged on an output side of the spline joint in a range not overlapping with the spline joint.
