A printing apparatus includes a first screen facing in a first direction, a second screen facing in a second direction different from the first direction, and a processor that controls display of the first screen and display of the second screen. The processor performs control for displaying a first image on the first screen and, simultaneously, displaying a second image on the second screen. A first action of a user on which guidance is provided by the first image and a second action of a user on which guidance is provided by the second image are actions configured to be performed simultaneously.

A projector includes: a reflection type polarization plate; a reflection type light modulation device; a light transmissive component; a support body; an optical compensation element disposed within the support body; and a control member which supports the optical compensation element, wherein any one of the first side surface, the second side surface, and the third side surface has a concave portion concaved toward the inside of the support body to accommodate the control member, the control member has an operation section which controls the position of the optical compensation element around a predetermined axis, and an operation notch through which the operation section projects to the outside of the support body is formed on the side wall of the concave portion.

Projector

A projector includes: a plurality of reflection type light modulation devices which modulates a corresponding color light; a color synthesize optical device which has a plurality of light entrance side surfaces and a crossing surface to combine the received color lights; a heat sink which has a base attached to the corresponding reflection type light modulation device, and a fin protruding from the base and extending in a direction crossing the crossing end surface; and a duct member disposed at a position opposed to the crossing surface to supply introduced air toward the heat sink, wherein the duct member includes a first outlet section disposed opposed to the fin such that the introduced air can be supplied toward the base through the first outlet section, and a second outlet section through which the introduced air is supplied in the extending direction of the fin.
