An image tone conversion apparatus includes: a region specifying section configured to specify a region of an original image, to which region an image tone conversion is to be performed; an image tone specifying section configured to specify a different type of image tone in accordance with an elapsed time since the region specifying section has specified the region; an image converting section configured to convert an tone of the original image in the region specified by the region specifying section to the image tone specified by the image tone specifying section; and a superimposing section configured to superimpose the image in the region to which the image tone conversion has been performed by the image converting section on the region of the original image specified by the region specifying section.

Image tone conversion apparatus, recording medium, and system

A system extracts a member who matches with search option given by a target member who searches the other members. The target member is informed of URL indicating an open profile web page of the extracted member. The target member refers to the open profile of the introduced member, and sends a message to the introduced member. The target member is charged for the message transmission if the target member sends the message to the introduced member concerned first time. The introduction member refers to the message posted to his/her bulletin board, and refers to an open profile of the message sender. If the introduced member decides to send a reply to the target member after referring to the message and the open profile, the introduced member post a message to a bulletin board of the target member. The introduced member is not charged for the reply transmission.

System and method for intermediating information

A television telephone apparatus is coupled with a home-use large-screen TV receiver and a home-use telephone, and is connectable to another television telephone apparatus of a counter party via the home-use telephone and the public telephone network. The telephone television apparatus is equipped with a camera unit, so that both of an image produced by the camera unit, and an image transmitted from the television telephone apparatus of the counter party can be simultaneously displayed on the home-use large-screen TV receiver. While the handset of the home-use telephone is used to send/receive voice of operators, voice may be reproduced from the speaker of the home-use TV receiver. Both of an intermittent moving image having a standard image density and a still image having a relatively fine image density can be transmitted/received, so that the intermittent moving image and the still image can be simultaneously displayed on the screen of the home-use large-screen TV receiver.
