In a parallel multistage band-pass filter, a transmission line having an electrical length substantially equal to half (&#x3bb;/2) of the wavelength of the transmission signal is incorporated between the port on the input terminal side of the odd number (2n&#x2212;1)th resonator numbered from the input terminal side and the port on the input terminal side of the even number (2n)th resonator numbered from the input terminal side; and a transmission line having an electrical length substantially equal to &#x3bb;/2 is incorporated between the port on the output terminal side of the even number (2n)th resonator numbered from the input terminal side and the port on the output terminal side of the odd number (2n+1)th resonator numbered from the input terminal side. Moreover, a transmission line for adjustment of a transmission phase between the input terminal and the output terminal is incorporated between the first resonator numbered from the output terminal side and the output terminal.

Parallel multistage band-pass filter

A coaxial resonator according to an embodiment of the invention includes a tubular dielectric block, an inner conductor having a thin-film, multi-layer electrode structure, which is formed on an outer surface of a cylindrical shaft received in the hole of the tubular dielectric block, and an outer conductor formed on an outer surface of the tubular dielectric block. The cylindrical shaft is inserted into the hole in the dielectric block, and is held by a holding member and an outer frame.

Coaxial resonator, filter, duplexer, and communication device

A projecting part is formed on the bottom surface of a dielectric substrate and a first conductive layer and a second conductive layer are respectively formed on the top surface and the bottom surface of the dielectric substrate. A plurality of through holes are formed along the left and the right of the projecting part. A coplanar line including a center electrode sandwiched between two grooves is provided on the top surface. Two slots connected to the top end of the coplanar line are formed at a position corresponding to the position of the projecting part, whereby a waveguide formed by the projecting part and the coplanar line are interconnected via the slots.

Transmission line with a projecting dielectric part having an opposing coplanar line and transceiver

A transmission line includes a dielectric substrate having first and second principal surfaces. A first conductive layer is provided on the first principal surface. A protrusion is provided on the second principal surface and a second conductive layer is formed so as to cover the outer surface of the protrusion. A slot is formed in the first principal surface such that the slot extends through the first conductive layer and faces the protrusion. Accordingly, a high-frequency signal does not radiate from the second principal surface and locally transmits with low loss between the bottom surface of the protrusion and the slot.
