The battery module includes a plurality of batteries stacked together, and separator disposed between an adjoining two of the plurality of batteries and configured to insulate between the adjoining two of batteries. Separator includes thermal conduction suppressor and position regulator. Thermal conduction suppressor has lower thermal conductivity than position regulator and suppresses thermal conduction between the adjoining two of batteries. Position regulator has higher rigidity than thermal conduction suppressor, has dimension in stacked direction of batteries equal to or greater than dimension of thermal conduction suppressor in stacked direction, and abuts the adjoining two of batteries to regulate a position of each of the adjoining two of batteries in stacked direction.

Battery module

Power supply device includes: a pair of end plates disposed on both ends in a stacking direction of battery stack constituted by stacking a plurality of secondary battery cells; and a plurality of fastening members fastening the pair of end plates together. Each of fastening members includes fastening main face having a flat plate shape and locking block fixed to a corner of fastening main face Each of end plates is formed with step that locks locking block while being fastened by fastening members, and has end plate screw hole opened near step. Each of fastening members has fastening side through hole opened so as to align with end plate screw hole while having each of end plates fastened, and has a fixing region fixing locking block to fastening main face disposed in a direction further away from each of end plates than fastening side through hole.

Power supply device, vehicle having power supply device, and power storage device

A pair of end plates disposed respectively at end faces of a battery stack are connected by bind bars and apply pressure to the battery stack to immobilize the battery stack. Each of the end plates includes a locking hole extending along a surface of the end plate. The end plate is fixed to a base plate by a fixing bolt inserted through the locking hole. The locking hole includes a deformation space that allows deformation of the fixing bolt when cell reaction force of the battery stack is caused.

In order to allow gas discharged from a pouch cell to be guided to a predetermined position, a power source device includes one or a plurality of pouch cells () having laminated film outer casing (), and a housing member () enclosing the one or multiple pouch cells (). The one or plurality of pouch cells () each includes thermally welded portion () formed by thermally welding the laminated film, and gas discharge portion () provided in at least a part of thermally welded portion (). Housing member () includes exhaust port () communicating with gas discharge portion () of one or a plurality of pouch cells ().

Power source device

A battery system includes: stacked battery cells; spacers defining cooling gaps between the battery cells; a battery stacked block having openings of the cooling gaps on respective side surfaces thereof; end plates at respective ends of the battery stacked block; binding bars having blowing openings configured to communicate with the openings of the cooling gaps; and film-molded packings, each of the film-molded packings being formed from a resin film. Each of the film-molded packings is between one of the binding bars and the battery stacked block, and each of the film-molded packings has a flat surface portion in contact with an inner surface of one of the binding bars in a surface contact state, and an elastic protrusion of a hollow shape which protrudes from the flat surface portion to a surface of the battery stacked block, extending so as to surround one of the blowing openings.

A power source apparatus including batteries having positive and negative electrode regions, parallel blocks with batteries stacked together and electrically connected in parallel, multiple parallel-series connected blocks with the parallel blocks electrically connected in series, and bus-bars having a plurality of terminal insertion holes. Batteries in a parallel block are stacked together lining-up positive electrode regions on one side and negative electrode regions on the other side. Parallel blocks in a multiple parallel-series connected block are stacked so as to reverse the orientation of each block added to the stack. The bus-bars are integrated pieces that can electrically connect the batteries in a parallel block in parallel as well as electrically connect the parallel blocks in series.

Storage battery

A power device includes a battery module for fixing a connecting terminal to an end and a bus bar connected to the connecting terminal of the battery module. The connecting terminal includes a fixing plate portion fixed to the end of the cell, an outer cylindrical portion protruded cylindrically from the fixing plate portion, an end face plate portion closing a tip surface of the outer cylindrical portion, and an inner cylindrical portion protruded from the end face plate portion toward the fixing plate portion. The connecting terminal is provided with a female screw on an internal surface of the inner cylindrical portion and a setscrew penetrating through the bus bar is screwed toward the female screw, and the bus bar is fixed to the connecting terminal through the setscrew.
