A control device includes an information acquisition unit configured to acquire information related to an air density in a coil and information related to a voltage applied to a rotary electric machine, an insulation determination unit configured to determine whether or not dielectric breakdown occurs in the coil based on the information related to the air density and the information related to the voltage acquired by the information acquisition unit, and configured to determine whether or not an insulation state of the coil is needed to be maintained by supplying an oil to the coil, and a drive instruction unit configured to drive an oil supply unit, when the insulation determination unit determines that dielectric breakdown occurs in the coil and determines that the insulation state of the coil is needed to be maintained by supplying the oil to the coil.

Control device for rotary electric machine unit

The electrified vehicle includes a first motor that drives a first wheel, a second motor that drives a second wheel different from the first wheel, a temperature sensor provided for the first motor, and a control device. The control device estimates the temperature of the first motor based on the detection signal from the temperature sensor, and corrects the temperature of the first motor based on information indicating a relative relation between operation of the first motor and operation of the second motor. These processes allow the control device to estimate the temperature of the second motor, control the operation of the first motor based on the estimated temperature of the first motor, and control the operation of the second motor based on the estimated temperature of the second motor.

Electrified vehicle

A motor controller for controlling a motor that is driven with electric power from a battery includes an atmospheric pressure sensor, and a coil temperature sensor. The motor controller is configured to determine an upper limit state of charge of the battery, and lower the upper limit state of charge of the battery in response to the atmospheric pressure being a predetermined pressure or lower or in response to the coil temperature being a predetermined temperature or higher.

Motor controller

A motor controller includes an atmospheric pressure sensor, a coil temperature sensor, and a voltage sensor configured to detect a voltage applied to a motor. The motor controller calculates a partial discharge inception voltage in accordance with the atmospheric pressure and the coil temperature, limits an output of the motor in response to the coil temperature exceeding a preset coil temperature upper limit value, and reduces the coil temperature upper limit value in response to a voltage exceeding the partial discharge inception voltage.

A rotating electric machine includes a stator and a rotor. The stator includes a stator core and a stator winding that includes phase coils wound around slots of the stator core. Each phase coil is configured such that: a first end is connected to an external terminal; a second end is connected to a neutral point; and 2n (n being a natural number) circling coils are arranged to circle the stator core and connected in series. A neutral-point-side coil is housed in a first slot where a terminal-side coil is housed. The terminal-side coil is a circling coil that is arranged on the external-terminal side of a first phase coil among the phase coils. The neutral-point-side coil is a circling coil that is arranged on the neutral-point side of a second phase coil among the phase coils. The second phase coil is different in phase from the first phase coil.

Rotating electric machine

A stator of a rotary electric machine comprises a stator core and a stator coil that is wound around the stator core. The stator coil includes a first segment coil, a second segment coil, and a first connecting member that has a first fitting recess portion at a first end of the first connecting member and a second fitting recess portion at a second end of the first connecting member, the first connecting member connecting the first segment coil and the second segment coil by fitting the first segment coil into the first fitting recess portion and by fitting the second segment coil into the second fitting recess portion.

Stator of rotary electric machine and method of manufacturing stator coil

A rotary electric machine stator includes a stator core, a multi-layer winding coil, a first insulating resin layer, and a second insulating resin layer. The multi-layer winding coil is arranged with a predetermined number of steps in the radial direction of the teeth. Each step of the multi-layer winding coil includes a lowest layer coil of one winding and a surface layer coil of another winding. The first insulating resin layer is arranged between the teeth and the lowest layer coil, or between an insulator that is fixed to the teeth and the lowest layer coil. The second insulating resin layer is arranged locally at curved portions of the multi-layer winding coil that correspond to corner portions of four corners of a rectangular cross-section of the teeth. The second insulating resin layer is arranged extending across a plurality of steps of the multi-layer winding coil.
