A control valve includes: a second inner circumferential portion capable of holding a first spring, in a first communication passage provided at a first discharge opening of a housing; and a recessed portion recessed in a radial direction, at a position that is a part of a region in a circumferential direction of the second circumferential portion and overlaps a second communication passage opening in a biasing direction of the first spring. Therefore, when inserting the first spring into the first communication passage, it is possible to hold the first spring with the inner circumferential surface of the second inner circumferential portion. Consequently, the first spring is appropriately mounted in the second circumferential portion, thereby preventing a mounting defect of the first spring.

Control valve

A control valve according to the present invention is configured such that when a third opening part, which is an auxiliary opening part, and a third discharge opening, which is an auxiliary connection opening, do not overlap, the third opening part and a continuous discharge opening overlap. Thus, for example, when a flow rate of cooling water for continuous circulation is required, such as during a cold start, cooling water guided through an internal passage is discharged via the continuous discharge opening in addition to cooling water guided from a bypass passage, thereby ensuring a sufficient flow rate of cooling water for continuous circulation.

Provided is a flow control valve and a cooling system, with which a pressure loss can be reduced. A rotorincludes a first guide portionon the outer circumferential side of an extending portionfixed to a drive shaftand protruding into a space inside the rotor. The first guide portionhas a radial outer shape which increases from an x-axis positive direction side toward an x-axis negative direction side.

Flow control valve and cooling system

A rotary control valve includes: a rotor including a tubular part and an opening in the tubular part; a seal member including a contact face, an internal passage, a noncontact part, and a ridge; a biasing member structured to cause the contact face of the seal member to be pressed on the tubular part; and a drive mechanism structured to rotate the rotor. The contact face is structured to be in sliding contact with the tubular part, and has an arc-curved surface shaped to fit with an outer periphery of the tubular part. The internal passage is structured to communicate with the opening of the tubular part. The noncontact part is formed at least one of ends of the arc-curved surface in a rotational direction of the tubular part, and is structured to be out of contact with the tubular part so as to define the ridge.

Flow rate control valve

In a cooling control device CM that controls the cooling state of an external device by controlling the flow rate of cooling water that flows in from an introduction portand causing the cooling water to flow out from a first to a third discharge ports Eto E, the cooling control device CM is configured that, for example, the flow rate of the cooling water to be supplied to a radiator side from the cooling control device CM is controlled by the cooperation of a flow rate control valve CV that controls the flow rate of the water supply according to a preset rule, and a switching control valve SV that controls the flow rate of the water supply independently from the flow rate control valve CV through a route different from that of the flow rate control valve CV.

Flow rate-controlling valve

A water pump of an internal combustion engine, including a pump housing having a cylindrical portion constructed so as to surround an outer peripheral side of a drive shaft, the cylindrical portion being integrally formed of an aluminum-based metal material, and a stepped portion provided on the outer peripheral side of the cylindrical portion. A bearing is provided having an outer race fixed to a pulley and an inner race made of an iron-based metal material and fixed to an outer periphery of the cylindrical portion. Additionally, a shielding member is provided having an inner peripheral side sandwiched between the inner race and the stepped portion, an outer peripheral side having a plate shape and extending to side of the outer race, and an end-face seal structure portion formed of an elastic material and formed on at least one of opposite surfaces of the sandwiched inner peripheral side.
