A first yoke is arranged in a contact direction with respect to a movable contact piece. A second yoke is arranged in an opening direction with respect to the movable contact piece. The first yoke and the second yoke are configured to generate a magnetic force that attracts the first yoke and the second yoke to each other when the movable contact contacts the fixed contact and is energized. The first yoke and the second yoke are arranged not to contact each other so that the movable contact piece can contact the fixed terminal in a state where the movable contact and the fixed contact are lost.

Relay

An electromagnetic relay includes a fixed terminal, a movable contact piece, a first contact, and a second contact. The fixed terminal includes a first surface. The movable contact piece includes a second surface disposed to face the first surface. The first contact is embedded in one of the fixed terminal or the movable contact piece to be flush with one of the first surface or the second surface. The second contact is disposed on the other of the fixed terminal or the movable contact piece to face the first contact. The second contact protrudes from the other of the first surface or the second surface toward the first contact and include a contact surface smaller than the first contact when viewed from a direction facing the first contact.

Electromagnetic relay having embedded contact flush to terminal surface

A relay includes a movable contact piece having a movable contact, a fixed contact, a drive device configured to move the movable contact piece, a magnet to apply a Lorentz force to an arc in a first extension direction, a fixed terminal having an intermediate portion to apply a Lorentz force to the arc in a second extension direction, and a wall portion. The wall portion includes first and second wall surfaces. The first wall surface is disposed to face an arc-extinguishing space, and is disposed opposite to the movable contact and the fixed contact in the first extension direction. The second wall surface is disposed to face the arc-extinguishing space and is disposed downstream in the second extension direction with respect to the first wall surface. A distance from the movable contact piece to the second wall surface differs from a distance to the first wall surface.

A relay includes a fixed contact, a movable contact piece including a movable contact, a movable portion, a coil, a return spring, and a contact spring. The movable portion includes a drive shaft and a movable iron core. The drive shaft is fixed to the movable contact piece in a contact case and extends from an inside of the contact case to an outside of the contact case. The movable iron core is connected to the drive shaft outside the contact case. The return spring urges the movable portion in an open direction in which the movable contact is separated from the fixed contact. The contact spring urges the drive shaft in a contact direction in which the movable contact contacts the fixed contact. The contact spring is arranged outside the contact case.

An electromagnetic relay includes a pair of fixed terminals including a fixed contact, a movable contact piece, a housing portion, and a magnet portion. The movable contact piece includes a movable contact disposed facing the fixed contact. The movable contact piece is movable in a first direction in which the movable contact contacts the fixed contact and a second direction in which the movable contact separates from the fixed contact. The housing portion includes a housing space housing the fixed contact and movable contact piece. The magnet portion includes a pair of magnets disposed around the housing portion so as to face each other in a longitudinal direction of the movable contact piece and extending in the second direction beyond the housing space. The magnet portion generates a magnetic flux flowing in a direction parallel to the longitudinal direction between the fixed contact and the movable contact.

Electromagnetic relay

An electromagnetic relay includes a fixed contact, a movable contact piece having a movable contact, a drive shaft, an electromagnetic drive device, and a positioning portion. The movable contact piece is movable in a first direction contacting the fixed contact and in a second direction separating from the fixed contact. The electromagnetic drive device includes a movable iron core integrally movably connected to the drive shaft. The electromagnetic drive device switches between a contact state in which the movable contact comes into contact with the fixed contact and a separate state in which the movable contact is separated from the fixed contact by moving the drive shaft with the movable iron core. The positioning portion positions the drive shaft or the movable iron core in the separate state. The drive shaft or the movable iron core includes a first inclined portion that contacts the positioning portion in the separate state.

Electromagnetic relay with modification of drive shaft or movable iron core

An electromagnetic relay includes a pair of fixed terminals, a movable contact piece, and a magnet portion. The pair of fixed terminals includes fixed contact. The movable contact piece that includes a movable contact disposed facing the fixed contact and that is movable in a first direction in which the movable contact contacts the fixed contact and in a second direction in which the movable contact separates from fixed contact. The magnet portion generating a magnetic field for extending an arc generated between the fixed contact and the movable contact. At least one of a corner portion in the first direction side of the fixed terminal located in an arc extension direction in which the arc is extended or a corner portion in the second direction side of the movable contact piece located in the arc extension direction has a chamfered shape in a range where the arc passes through.

A relay includes a movable contact piece having a first movable contact and a second movable contact, a first fixed terminal having a first fixed contact, a second fixed terminal having a second fixed contact, a drive device configured to move the movable contact piece, and the wall portion disposed inside the first fixed contact and the second fixed contact in a longitudinal direction. At least a part of the wall portion is disposed at a position beyond the first fixed contact and the second fixed contact toward the movable contact piece in a moving direction of the movable contact piece. The movable contact piece has a shape so as to avoid the wall portion in a contact state where the first movable contact is in contact with the first fixed contact and the second movable contact is in contact with the second fixed contact.

An electromagnetic relay includes a fixed contact, a movable contact piece, a drive shaft, and a movable iron core. The movable contact piece is movable in a first direction and in a second direction. The drive shaft that extends in the first direction and the second direction and that is coupled to the movable contact piece. The movable iron core is coupled to the drive shaft so as to be integrally movable at a position beyond the movable contact piece in the first direction or at a position beyond the movable contact piece in the second direction. The drive shaft includes a first contact portion configured to contact the movable contact piece, a second contact portion configured to contact the movable iron core, and an insulating portion made from an insulating material and configured to insulate the movable contact piece and the movable iron core from each other.

An electromagnetic relay includes a fixed terminal, a movable contact piece, a housing, and a heat dissipation structure. The fixed terminal includes a first surface, a second surface opposite the first surface, and a fixed contact disposed on the first surface. The movable contact piece includes a movable contact that is configured to contact the fixed contact. The housing includes an accommodation space accommodating a portion of the fixed terminal, the fixed contact, and the movable contact piece. The heat dissipation structure includes a heat dissipation space that is provided on the second surface of the fixed terminal for dissipating the heat of the fixed terminal to an outside of the accommodation space.

Electromagnetic relay with heat dissipation structure

A relay, including a first fixed contact, a second fixed contact, a movable contact piece having first and second movable contacts, a contact piece holding unit configured to hold the movable contact piece, a magnet for arc extinguishing, and a debris suction unit configured to exert a magnetic force to suck debris, is disclosed. A first contact position between the first fixed contact and the first movable contact is located between the magnet for arc extinguishing and the contact piece holding unit in a longitudinal direction of the movable contact piece. The debris suction unit is disposed so that the first contact position does not overlap a region between the debris suction unit and the contact piece holding unit. A magnet force exerted by the debris suction unit in the contact piece holding unit is larger than a magnetic force exerted by the magnet in the contact piece holding unit.

A relay includes a first fixed contact, a second fixed contact, a movable contact piece having first and second movable contacts, a contact piece holding unit configured to hold the movable contact piece, and first to fourth magnets. The first magnet and the second magnet are disposed so that same poles thereof face each other. The movable contact piece is disposed between the first magnet and the second magnet in a width direction of the movable contact piece. The third magnet is disposed so as to increase a magnetic flux in a longitudinal direction of the movable contact piece at a position between the first fixed contact and the first movable contact. The fourth magnet is disposed so as to increase a magnetic flux in the longitudinal direction of the movable contact piece at a position between the second fixed contact and the second movable contact.

A connection unit includes: an electromagnetic relay having a housing, a first fixed contact side terminal, a second fixed contact side terminal, and a movable touch piece; a first bus bar extending on an outside of the housing along a bus bar installation surface in an arrangement direction, and whose one end in the arrangement direction is connected to the first fixed contact side terminal; a second bus bar connected to the second fixed contact side terminal on the outside of the housing; and a bus bar position restrictor arranged on the bus bar installation surface with a gap in the arrangement direction from a connection point, and configured to restrict a position of the first bus bar in a contact/separation direction and in a direction away from the bus bar installation surface.

Connection unit

Provided is an electromagnetic relay including a case, a first fixed contact terminal including a first fixed contact, a second fixed contact terminal including a second fixed contact, and a movable touch piece including, on one surface of the movable touch piece, a first movable contact and a second movable contact configured to come into and out of contact in a contact-making and breaking direction. The first fixed contact terminal includes a facing portion disposed facing the other surface of the movable touch piece with a gap provided between the facing portion and the movable touch piece, and at least part of the facing portion lies over the movable touch piece in plan view in the contact-making and breaking direction.

Provided is a connection unit including an electromagnetic relay and a bus bar connected to the electromagnetic relay. In such a connection unit, a first bus bar connected to a first fixed contact terminal is disposed facing one surface of a movable touch piece located on an opposite side of the movable touch piece from the other surface of the movable touch piece in a contact-making and breaking direction, with a gap provided between the first bus bar and the movable touch piece in the contact-making and breaking direction, the first bus bar extends in a direction that intersects the contact-making and breaking direction and in which a first movable contact and a second movable contact of the movable touch piece are arranged, and at least part of the first bus bar lies over the movable touch piece in plan view in the contact-making and breaking direction.
