A corrosion amount estimation apparatus that estimates the corrosion amount of a metal material buried in the ground, the apparatus including: a soil adjustment unit that dries the target soil; a water permeability measurement unit that measures the water permeability of the soil after supplying water to the dried soil; and a corrosion estimation unit that estimates the corrosion amount of the metal material when buried in the soil using the water permeability.

A parameter determination device determines a parameter of a particle model used in a ground analysis system. An object is to support evaluation of corrosion of metal embedded in the ground such that the corrosion can be evaluated with high accuracy even if any type of soil is used. A coarseness/fineness test unit analyzes soil particles of soil that is used to evaluate corrosion of an embedded metallic material, a water supply unit supplies water to the soil, a soil stirring unit stirs the soil supplied with water, and a viscosity test unit measures fluidity of the stirred soil.

A corrosion rate estimation apparatus includes a corrosion rate measurement unit adapted to repeat water supply cycles in which water is supplied to soil in which metal to be evaluated is buried and measure a cycle number of each water supply cycle, one or more time points in each cycle, and a corrosion rate of the metal at the time point(s); a learning unit adapted to find a prediction model by accepting the cycle number, the time point(s) in the cycle, and the corrosion rate(s) as input and using a machine learning algorithm, the prediction model representing a future corrosion rate; and a corrosion rate estimation unit adapted to assign a cycle number and a time point in the cycle at which a corrosion rate is desired to be estimated to the prediction model and estimate a corrosion rate of the metal at the time point.

There is provided an electrode for analyzing corrosion of a buried metal material in real time, the electrode including: a metal portion composed of a metal material; a metal fixation portion covering and fixing the metal portion except on an exposed surface thereof; a plurality of particles arranged so as to be in contact with the exposed surface; a gelation substance portion covering the plurality of particles and being in close contact with the exposed surface and the metal fixation portion; and a conduction portion that secures electric conduction with the metal portion, wherein the plurality of particles and the gelation substance portion transmit light.
