A compression mechanism that can suppress generation of galling and seizure is provided. The compression mechanism includes a bushincluding a first sliding surfacesliding with an inner surfaceof a bush holeand a second sliding surfacesliding with a side surfaceof a blade of a piston, and includes at least one of a first bulgeformed on one of the first sliding surfaceand the inner surfacesuch that a gap X between the first sliding surfaceand the inner surfacegradually decreases toward a direction in which lubricant Y is drawn between the first sliding surfaceand the inner surfacealong with rocking of the bush, and a second bulgeformed on the second sliding surfacesuch that the gap X between the second sliding surfaceand the side surfacegradually decreases toward a direction in which the lubricant Y is drawn between the second sliding surfaceand the side surfacealong with forward and backward movement of the blade.

Compressor having bulged bushings

There is provided a shoe capable of suppressing deformation of a member on which the shoe slides. The shoe includes: a first sliding surface which slides on a concave surface of a piston (first movable member); and a second sliding surface which bulges toward a side opposite to the first sliding surface and slides on a flat surface of a swash plate (second movable member). The second sliding surface includes: a curved outer peripheral portion which is provided along an outer periphery of the second sliding surface; and a central portion which is provided at a center of the second sliding surface so as to be continuous with the curved outer peripheral portion and has a radius of curvature greater than a radius of curvature of the curved outer peripheral portion.

Shoe and swash plate compressor including the shoe

Provided is a sliding member, method for manufacturing sliding member, and compressor swash plate using sliding member in which adhesion between the substrate and the resin is enhanced, and which has the excellent durability whereby peeling of the resin film from the substrate does not occur due to prolonged sliding even under harsh load conditions. The sliding member provides a substrate irradiated laser light with energy intensity per unit area of 0.053 J/mmor more and configured an uneven part formed toward a vertical direction by the irradiated laser light and a melted and solidified portion on the uneven part and a resin film including solid lubricant and a binder resin on the substrate.

Slide member

The outer periphery of the outer part of a substrate is a chamfer, and the outer part of the substrate is covered by a resin film layer. The thickness of the resin film layer at the chamfer is thicker than the locations radially further inwards from said chamfer. The surface of the resin film layer on the outer peripheral edge of the outer part is coplanar with the surface of the resin film layer further inwards. These locations act as the sliding surface (the surface of the swash plate) that slides on a shoe, and compared with conventional techniques, because the resin film layer in the outer peripheral edge is thick, attrition of the portion being pressed against the shoe is suppressed. For that reason, the outer peripheral edge of the substrate and the vicinity thereof are prevented from being exposed, and seizure of the swash plate can be prevented.

Swash plate

A swash plate type compressor is arranged with a plurality of semispherical shoes and a disc shaped swash plate. A resin coating is formed on a surface and a rear surface (sliding surface) of the swash plate which slides with the shoe. The resin coating includes a structure whereby multiple hexagonal cylinder bodies are fabricated on a surface of a substrate and an end surface of each cylinder body forms a sliding surface which slides with the shoe. In addition, a honeycomb shaped groove is formed at an adjacent position of each cylinder body forming a storage part of a lubricant O and a container part for foreign objects. The swash plate can be provided with excellent wear resistance, seizure resistance and lubrication retention.

Sliding member

This swash plate comprises a resin film layer formed on the front surface and the rear surface, and said resin film layer serves as the sliding surface which slides on a shoe. The inner periphery of the resin film layer is a tilted surface which a lubricant can easily cross over. In other words, angle &#x3b8;1 is 10&#xb0; or less and angle &#x3b8;2 of the rising part is set to 20&#xb0; or less, and when the lubricant is supplied from the inner periphery side of the swash plate, said lubricant easily crosses over said inner periphery which is a tilted surface, and is quickly supplied to the surface (the sliding surface) outside of said inner periphery. Because the lubricant is quickly supplied to the front surface and the rear surface (the sliding surface) of the swash plate, seizure of the swash plate can be prevented.

A swash plate type compressor is arranged with a plurality of semispherical shoes and a disc shaped swash plate. A resin coating having a honeycomb structure is formed on a surface and a rear surface (sliding surface) of the swatch plate which slides with the shoe. An edge part (top end) of each of the multiple cylinder bodies which forms the resin coating layer are at the same plane and forms a sliding surface which slides with the shoe. In addition, an interior space of each cylinder body forms a storage part of a lubricant and a container part for foreign objects. The swash plate can be provided with excellent wear resistance, seizure resistance and lubrication retention.
