The controller is installed in the vehicle along with the motor for driving, the auxiliary equipment, and the battery that supplies power to the motor and the auxiliary equipment. After the vehicle's system starts up, the controller is programmed to (A) calculate the power consumption of the auxiliary equipment using the power output from the battery; (B) estimate the auxiliary equipment electricity cost using the power consumption of the auxiliary equipment, the estimated driving time, and the estimated driving distance; and (C) predict the driving electricity cost for the estimated driving distance using the auxiliary electricity cost and the driving learning electricity cost from the learning results.

Controller

A control apparatus for a vehicle that includes a power transmission apparatus including a frictional engagement element configured to connect and disconnect transmission of a power between a drive power source and drive wheels of the vehicle. The control apparatus is configured to execute a vibration suppression control for estimating torsional vibration of the power transmission apparatus, based on a preformulated vibration model, and controlling a torque of a rotating machine that is connected to the power transmission apparatus, so as to suppress the torsional vibration. The control apparatus allows execution of the vibration suppression control, when the frictional engagement element is in an engaged state, and also when a differential rotation of the frictional engagement element has become smaller than a predetermined determination value even with the frictional engagement element being in a disengaged state.

A control device executes, when a jump-down shifting is executed, shifting control in which, after engaging elements establishing a pre-shifting gear position are released, an intermediate gear position that is a gear position between the pre-shifting gear position and a post-shifting gear position is established, and after the intermediate gear position is established, the post-shifting gear position is established. To provide a vehicle control apparatus which can suppress a shock in a clutch from being generated at a time of starting an engine by a motor in a vehicle having the clutch provided therein between the engine and the motor, thereby improving a drivability of the vehicle. Provided is a vehicle control apparatus, comprising: an engine, a motor generator connected to vehicle wheels of a vehicle, and a clutch that switches a transmission state between a disengaging state and an engaging state, in which the vehicle control apparatus switches the clutch in the engaging state to start the engine by the motor generator. When the engine is started by the motor generator, the vehicle control apparatus constantly keeps the compensation torque of the motor generator smaller than the clutch torque of the clutch.

A vehicle control device includes: an engine and a first motor generator from both of which a driving force for traveling is output to drive wheels; and an electricity storage device that storages electric power for driving the first motor generator. When a vehicle weight is in a reference state at a time of deceleration braking, the first motor generator is mainly caused, out of the first motor generator and the engine, to generate a braking force, and when the vehicle weight is greater than that in the reference state, the engine is mainly caused, out of the first motor generator and the engine, to generate the braking force. Thus, a sufficient braking force can be obtained while an input limit of the electricity storage device is prevented from being reached.

Disclosed is a control device for a vehicle including an engine and a motor generator both for supplying a travel driving force to a driving wheel. The control device causes the engine to stop while the vehicle is traveling on a descending slope under constant vehicle speed control where the vehicle is controlled to travel at a predetermined vehicle speed. That reduces a load on a brake device.
