A terminal metal fitting () includes a tubular box portion () receiving a counterpart terminal; a lock hole () formed through a wall () of the box portion () and receiving the lock projection (); a terminal spring () extending from an inner wall surface of the box portion () to press and contact to the counterpart terminal; and a supporting point portion () formed at a portion around the lock hole () to have a cantilevered-shape. The supporting point portion () serves as a supporting point () when the terminal spring () contacts to the counterpart terminal.

A terminal metal fitting includes a tubular box portion receiving a counterpart terminal; a terminal spring extending from an inner wall surface of the box portion to press and contact the counterpart terminal; and a deformation restriction portion restricting deformation of the terminal spring within a preset range when the terminal spring contacts the counterpart terminal. The deformation restriction portion has a chamfered portion to contact the terminal spring.

In a terminal accommodating chamber provided in a housing of a connector, a terminal to which an electric wire is connected is accommodated. The terminal is held by the engagement between a locking face of a lance molded in a terminal accommodating chamber and a locking target face provided in a box portion of the terminal. The locking target face is provided in a front ceiling plate molded by notching a ceiling plate of the box portion in a width direction to reach a facing plate outer face. The locking face and the locking target face are engaged with each other within a range wider than a facing plate inner face width of the facing plate.

A connector includes a terminal including an electric contact portion having a lock end edge at a rear end thereof in an insertion direction and a wire connection portion having a core wire caulked portion; a housing having an insertion opening on a rear end surface thereof and a terminal accommodation chamber to accommodate the terminal inserted from the insertion opening; a flexible lock piece integrally formed with the housing and having a lock surface locking the lock end edge of the terminal inserted into the terminal accommodation chamber; an inclined surface formed on the flexible lock piece, pressed by the terminal during insertion, and moving the lock surface in an unlocking direction; and a recessed clearance portion formed on the inclined surface and having a bottom surface located farther from the core wire caulked portion of the insertion-completed terminal and the vicinity thereof than the inclined surface.

A terminal includes a box, the box of the terminal connected to an electric wire includes a ceiling plate and an inner plate. The ceiling plate includes a front ceiling plate and a rear ceiling plate formed by a notch. The rear ceiling plate includes a projection part engagement surface provided by the forming of the notch. The inner plate includes a projection part. In a state where the ceiling plate and the inner plate are superimposed, the projection part and the projection part engagement surface are engaged with each other.

Terminal and connector

In a terminal holding structure of a connector, a straight portion of a terminal is press fitted into a terminal holding hole formed on a terminal holding wall of a resin housing, so as to be held therein. At least a pair of projecting portions projecting to both sides in a direction orthogonal to a press-fitting direction is formed on the outer surface of a region of the straight portion of the terminal corresponding to the terminal holding hole. The projecting portions are formed with the cross-section orthogonal to the straight portion including a wedge-shaped dent at a distal end. The dents are formed such that a dimension between bottom portions is larger than the dimension of the terminal holding hole at the position into which the projecting portions are press fitted. This enhances the holding power to the terminal, and enables the terminal to be held stably.

Terminal holding structure of connector

A connector includes a housing, a plurality of terminals installed in the housing, and an aligning plate configured to be installed in the housing and having a plurality of positioning holes. The connector is configured to be mounted on a circuit board so that the terminals inserted into the positioning holes are inserted into the through holes of the circuit board. The aligning plate has a first face and a second face on the opposite side of the first face, the second face being opposed to the circuit board during mounting onto the circuit board. The aligning plate has a stepped shape including a plurality of faces being different in position in the mounting direction toward the circuit board on the first face. The aligning plate has a relief section provided on the second face.

Connector

A display switch includes a holding portion that formed by a light guide member and adapted to hold a held portion, and a display portion that is integrally formed with the holding portion by the light guide member, is embedded in a light shielding portion, and emits light by guiding a light irradiated to the holding portion.

Display switch

An illumination display switching device includes a board, a push button-type switch mounted on the board, a light source mounted on the board, and a switch knob that is supported to a frame member to be slidable in an operation direction of the push button-type switch. The switch knob includes a display design part that is molded with a light-transmitting resin, a non-display design part except for the display design part that is molded with an opaque resin and a light guide member that is integrally molded with the light-transmitting resin of the display design part. The light guide member includes a base part and an arm part, and the base part is integrally molded with the display design part and the arm part extends from the base part and is connected to a switch part of the push button-type switch.

Illumination display switching device

A connector includes a rib provided in a male terminal housing chamber of a male connector and configured to suppress a relative displacement of a male terminal to the male terminal housing chamber by being brought into contact with the male terminal and a rib provided in a female terminal housing chamber of a female connector and configured to suppress a relative displacement of a female terminal to the female terminal housing chamber by being brought into contact with the female terminal. The rib is formed so as to start to come into contact with the male terminal at a tab exit port side position than a position where a required insertion force becomes maximum. The rib is formed so as to start to come into contact with the female terminal at a tab insertion port side position than a position where the required insertion force becomes maximum.

A switch device includes a busbar, a switch knob, a movable contact sliding part in the busbar, a movable contact configured to slide while elastically contacting the movable contact sliding part, root parts in the movable contact sliding part, and a fixed contact. The root parts are engaged with the movable contact. An engaging position of the movable contact is shifted from the one of the root parts to another one so as to switch connecting relation. A groove part and a rib are formed in the busbar between the one of the root parts and another one of the root parts. The rib is configured to abut against the movable contact to deform the movable contact in an opposite direction to a direction where the movable contact is engaged with the root parts, in a state where the movable contact is positioned at the groove part.

Switch device

A switch device including arm springs as movable contacts slide in accordance with a switching operation of a switch knob. The arm springs come into resilient contact and slide on movable contact slide parts. Root parts and mountain parts are formed in the movable contact slide parts and a fixed contact is formed with end edges of bus bars. The bus bars are mounted and fixed to an upper surface of a support part. A cut out part is provided on the upper surface of the support part. The arm springs are formed in the shapes of bars having mountain forms in section fitted to the root parts, and the arm springs are extended in the vertical direction to plate surfaces of the bus bars and arranged to be inclined so that outer side surfaces abut on upper side edges of the fixed contacts.

A seesaw switch includes a seesaw switch knob, two contacts which extend from the seesaw switch knob, and busbars which contact individually the two contacts. A surface of each of the busbars has a wave shape including end root portions, a middle root portion disposed between the end root portions. Each of the two contacts moves from one of the end root portions to the other of the end root portions by way of the middle root portion to stop in the other of the end root portions while contacting corresponding one of the busbars when one of end portions of the seesaw switch knob is depressed.

Seesaw switch

A room lamp for a motor vehicle, including a lamp assembly having a resin clip; a vessel having an opening; and a reinforcing member. The resin clip is engaged with a peripheral edge of the reinforcing member through the opening of the vessel to integrally attach the lamp assembly, the vessel and the reinforcing member. The resin clip has an inverted U shape, is made of an elastic member and includes a base part, an inverted U shape part and a lock. The resin clip has a protruding piece in a lower part of the lock, a side protruding piece formed in a lower part side of the protruding piece which is located in an engaging recessed part of an opening peripheral edge of the vessel which has a clip abutting surface when the resin clip is engaged with the peripheral edge of the reinforcing member.

Room lamp for motor vehicle

A press-contacting connection structure of electric wires includes a first cover of a holder, and a second cover of the holder attached to the first holder, and a holder mounting part provided on an electric wire connection target member and configured to be attached to the second cover. The electric wires arranged in parallel with each other are held between the first cover and the second cover so that one side portions of the electric wires extend from one side of the holder and the other side portions of the electric wires extend from the other side of the holder. Ends of the one side portions of the electric wires are folded toward the other side of the holder over the first cover, and are bound by a binding band with the other side portions of the electric wires. A press-contact terminal is inserted into the holder through an opening formed in the second cover when the second cover is attached with the holder mounting part, so that the press-contact terminal is press-contacted to the electric wire accommodated in the holder.
