The present invention relates to a gel electrolyte comprising a cyclic sulfonic acid ester represented by formula (1). According to the present invention, it is possible to provide a gel electrolyte capable of suppressing the self-discharge of a polymer secondary battery, and a polymer secondary battery using the gel electrolyte. wherein Rand Rare each independently a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group having 1 to 5 carbon atoms, a halogen group or an amino group with the proviso that Rand Rare not hydrogen atoms at the same time; Rrepresents a linkage group selected from the group consisting of an alkylene group having 1 to 5 carbon atoms, a carbonyl group, a sulfonyl group, a fluoroalkylene group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms, and a divalent group having 2 to 6 carbon atoms in which alkylene units or fluoroalkylene units are bonded through an ether group.

Gel electrolyte and polymer secondary battery using same

The exemplary embodiment has an object to provide a nonaqueous electrolyte solution having a flame retardancy over a long period and having a good capacity maintenance rate. The exemplary embodiment is a nonaqueous electrolyte solution containing a lithium salt, at least one oxo-acid ester derivative of phosphorus selected from compounds represented by a predetermined formula, and at least one disulfonate ester selected from a cyclic disulfonate ester and a linear disulfonate ester represented by the predetermined formulae.

A secondary battery according to an exemplary embodiment comprises an electrode element in which a cathode and an anode are oppositely disposed, an electrolytic solution, and an outer packaging body which encloses the electrode element and the electrolytic solution inside; wherein the anode is formed by binding an anode active material, which comprises carbon material (a) that can absorb and desorb a lithium ion, metal (b) that can be alloyed with lithium, and metal oxide (c) that can absorb and desorb a lithium ion, to an anode collector with an anode binder; and wherein the electrolytic solution comprises a liquid medium which is hard to generate carbon dioxide at a concentration of 10 to 80 vol %.

Secondary battery

There is provided a lithium ion battery having high flame retardancy and good cycle characteristics on a long-term basis. The lithium ion battery according to this exemplary embodiment is a lithium ion battery comprising a nonaqueous electrolytic solution or gel electrolyte containing a Li salt and an oxoacid ester derivative of phosphoric acid; a group of stacked electrode in which positive electrodes comprising a positive electrode layer comprising a positive electrode active material disposed on at least one surface of a positive electrode current collector, and negative electrodes comprising a negative electrode layer comprising a negative electrode active material disposed on at least one surface of a negative electrode current collector are alternately stacked via separators; and a package containing the nonaqueous electrolytic solution or gel electrolyte and the group of stacked electrode, wherein both of two electrodes A disposed on outermost sides of the group of stacked electrode, respectively, satisfy 0&#x2266;(Wc/Wb)&#x2266;0.55 when a mass of an electrode active material contained in an electrode active material-coated layer B disposed on a group-of-stacked-electrodes side of an electrode current collector is Wb, and a mass of an electrode active material contained in an electrode active material-coated layer C disposed on a package side of the electrode current collector is Wc.

Lithium ion battery

There is provided a lithium ion battery which maintains the flame retardancy of an electrolyte over a long period of time, has high energy density, and has improved charge/discharge cycle characteristics, high temperature storage characteristics, and rate characteristics. The lithium ion battery according to the present exemplary embodiment is a lithium ion battery comprising an electrolyte containing at least an ionic liquid and a lithium salt, a positive electrode, and a negative electrode, wherein the negative electrode includes a negative electrode active material which is a carbon material treated with a surface treatment agent.

An exemplary embodiment provides a lithium ion secondary battery using a high energy type anode, which enables long-life operation thereof. An object of the present invention is to provide a gel electrolyte for a lithium ion secondary battery having flame retardancy over a long period and a good capacity maintenance rate. The gel electrolyte for a lithium ion secondary battery according to the exemplary embodiment contains a lithium salt, a copolymer of at least one first monomer selected from compounds represented by chemical formulae (1) and (2) and a second monomer represented by chemical formula (4), at least one oxo-acid ester derivative of phosphorus selected from compounds represented by chemical formulae (5) to (7), and at least one disulfonate ester selected from a cyclic-chain type disulfonate ester represented by chemical formula (8) and a linear-chain type disulfonate ester represented by chemical formula (9).

Secondary battery and capacitor utilizing indole compounds

This invention provides an electrode comprising a porous conductive substrate as well as an electrode active material and a conductive auxiliary filled in the pores in the substrate. This electrode exhibits improved shape stability (strength), a lower resistivity and better response.
