A resonant vibration actuator includes a casing, a mover, a plurality of electromagnet sets, two elastic suspensions, and a connecting circuit. The casing is provided with connection terminals for connection on the outside of the casing. The mover has a mover frame, a plurality of permanent magnet units, and two magnetic backs. The permanent magnet units and the magnetic backs are arranged in the mover frame and the electromagnet sets are arranged between the permanent magnet units. Elastic suspensions are connected to the casing and the mover respectively through two connection portions at both ends. The connecting circuit is used to connect the electromagnet sets and the connection terminals outside the casing. By energizing the electromagnet sets, the electromagnet sets act on the permanent magnet units to make the mover move relatively in the casing to generate vibration.

Resonant vibration actuator

A vibration feedback device and control method thereof are provided. The vibration feedback device includes a substrate, a frame and a plurality of displacement restoration devices; one end of each displacement restoration device is connected to the frame, and the other end is connected to the substrate; one side of the substrate is the user operation surface, and the other side includes at least one driving coil, at least one induction coil, a controller and a driver; the frame also includes a first magnet set corresponding to the driving coil and a second magnet set corresponding to the induction coil; the controller processes the signal obtained by the induction coil to drive the vibration feedback device to achieve a reliable vibration suppression effect.

Vibration feedback device and control method thereof

A force sensing module with vibration feedback is disclosed, comprising: a substrate, a frame and a plurality of magnetic sensors; the substrate is disposed with at least one tactile actuator, and the substrate has a touch operation surface and a mounting surface on opposite sides, the tactile actuator is mounted on the mounting surface; the frame is disposed with at least three buffer spacers, the buffer spacers connect the frame to the substrate; the magnetic sensor includes a magnet and a Hall element, one of the magnet and the Hall element is disposed on the frame, and the other is disposed on the substrate; thereby when a force is applied on the touch operation surface to make the substrate generate an offset, the Hall element outputs a force signal due to the voltage change caused by the approaching magnet, and the signal drives the tactile actuator to generate a vibration feedback.

Force sensing module with vibration feedback

A linear vibration actuator motor comprises a housing, a coil, a conductive sheet, a bracket, a magnet assembly and two elastic members. The coil is fixed to the bottom wall of the housing. The conductive sheet is fixed to the top wall of the housing and is located above the coil. The bracket is disposed in an accommodating space of the housing, forming framed space, and located above the coil and below the conductive sheet. The magnet assembly is disposed in the framed space above the coil and directly below the conductive sheet. The two elastic members are respectively located between two ends of the bracket and the inner side of two side walls of the housing. Thereby, the invention utilizes the induced current to provide resistance to achieve the damping effect against the motion of the assembly of the bracket and the magnet set with respect to conductive sheet.

Linear vibration actuator motor

A linear vibration motor is disclosed, including: a movable part, a suspension device, and a fixed part; wherein the movable part includes at least one magnet set, and the fixed part at least includes a coil, at least one magnetically conductive element and a housing; the magnet set and the coil and the magnetically conductive element of the fixed part are arranged with a gap. The magnetically conductive element is located above, below, or both above and below the magnet set; the suspension device includes two stripe springs, respectively located on both sides of the movable part, with one side of each stripe spring connected to the movable part, and the other side connected to the fixed part. When not actuated, the suspension device is a straight full-length stripe without bending at the connections at both ends.

Linear vibration motor

A method and structure for compensating tolerances in assembling modules are provided. The method applies to a pressing fixture and a module with a baseline reference plane and an assembly baseline plane. The assembly baseline plane has at least three compensation baseline bumps, having the height greater than the compensation amount. The pressing fixture has a calibration reference plane. The method comprises: adjusting the position of the module or the pressing fixture to make the baseline reference plane parallel to the calibration reference plane; the pressing fixture using the calibration reference plane to press on the compensation baseline bumps, and changing the position of bump top of each compensation baseline bump; removing the pressing fixture from the compensation baseline bumps, and the plurality of the bump tops forming a preliminary baseline plane, and the preliminary baseline plane being parallel to the baseline reference plane.

Method and structure for compensating tolerances in assembling modules

A linear vibration motor includes a fixed portion, a movable portion, and a suspension portion; the fixed portion further includes an outer frame, a coil set, a conductive sheet set, a connecting circuit and a terminal; the movable portion includes a bracket, a primary magnet set, at least a secondary magnet set; the suspension portion includes a pair of elastic members connected to the fixed portion and the movable portion, and provides a restoring force when the movable portion is displaced; the coil set and the primary magnet set provide a driving force to drive the movable portion to generate vibration; the conductive sheet set and the secondary magnet set provide damping when the movable portion moves.

The invention discloses a control system for LRA, applicable to an LRA having a speed sensing coil. The control system comprises a signal amplifier, an excitation device, a flow controller, a processing unit, and a driver. The processing unit is connected to the signal amplifier, the excitation device and the flow controller, so as to stop output, output the excitation signal as a driving signal or process the induction signal from the signal amplifier into an appropriate system damping coefficient and output as a driving signal when the flow controller outputs a stop, excitation or braking state signal, respectively.

Linear resonant actuator, control system and brake control method

The invention discloses a control system and a vibration control method for an LRA. The vibration control method comprises: providing an induction coil, the arrangement and the winding of the induction coil able to obtain an inductive voltage proportional to LRA vibration speed; generating a vibration signal according to inductive voltage and feeding back to a driver connected to the LRA to control the vibration of LRA; wherein the generated vibration signal satisfying the following: when induction voltage is lower than a low-speed threshold, the vibration signal causes the driver to apply a driving force in the same direction; when induction voltage is higher than a high-speed threshold, the vibration signal causes the driver to apply a driving force in the opposite direction; when induction voltage is between the low-speed threshold and the high-speed threshold, the vibration signal does not force the driver to apply force.

Control system and vibration control method for linear resonant actuator

A dual optical pick-up head for accessing CD, CD-R and DVD discs is provided. The provided dual optical pick-up head uses an objective lens and a laser source for DVD discs, and uses another objective lens and another laser source for CD and CD-R discs. Spirit of the invention is that both objective lenses are located in the same lenses holder which connect to a guide rod, and the lenses hold moves only along a radius of the corresponding disc. Moreover, the laser beam produced by any laser source is transmitted through corresponding objective lens to a disc, and the reflected laser beam is transmitted through corresponding objective lens to a PDIC and then a spot is formed and detected. Hence, the location of each objective lens must satiate the requirement that any spot that corresponds to a specific track of disc does not mix with other spots that correspond to other track of disc.

Dual optical pickup head for accessing both DVD and CD disc

A focusing and tracking method and system for use on the read/write head of an optical drive is provided. The focusing and tracking method and system is capable of detecting both the focusing error and the tracking error of the read/write head to thereby control the focusing and tracking of the same during read operation. In particular, this focusing and tracking method and system combines the use of a knife-edge focusing method and a push-pull tracking method respectively for focusing and tracking of the read/write head. A specially designed photo detector is used to obtain both the focusing error signal and the tracking error signal. This allows the focusing and tracking system to be simplified in structural complexity, thereby saving manufacturing cost. Moreover, since the focusing error signal and the tracking error signal are obtained respectively in perpendicular directions, the undesired effect of cross-talk between the two error signals can be avoided.

A two-wavelength laser pick-up head used for accessing DVD, CD, CD-R and CD-E systems. The two-wavelength laser pick-up head includes a shorter wavelength laser optical path for reading the data from a DVD system, and a longer wavelength laser optical path for reading the data from a CD or CD-R system. The above two optical paths use the same collimator and the same objective lens. There is a compensator lens which is used in the longer wavelength laser optical path for correcting the spherical aberration due to the thick substrate of the CD or CD-R.

Two-wavelength laser pick-up head for a DVD

A grating pattern for a bifocal optical pick-up head assembly of an optical compact disc drive device is disclosed. The device is capable of accessing data on the surface of compact discs arranged in either the DVD or the CD formats. The optical head assembly has an optical system that includes a grating plate and an objective, wherein the grating plate contains the grating pattern, and the objective focuses a light beam onto the data surface of the accessed compact disc. The grating pattern includes a first region that contains no grating and a second region that contains grating. The first region substantially surrounds the second region. The light beam that passes through the first region of the grating pattern is incident to the cross-sectional aperture of the objective for the DVD format of the accessed optical disk. The light beam that passes through the second region of the grating pattern is incident to the cross-sectional aperture of the objective for the CD format of the accessed optical disk.

A single-lens optical pick-up head has a laser diode, a beam splitter, a collimator, a polarizing light converter, a polarization controller, a polarizing beam splitter, a first quarter-wavelength plate, a mirror, a second quarter-wavelength plate, a convex mirror, an objective lens and a photodetector, for use in accessing DVD and CD discs by switching its optical property between two states.

Single-lens optical pick-up head for accessing a DVD disc and a CD disc

A digital video disc optical pick-up head system has a laser light source, a beam splitter, a collimating len, a polarization changer, a deflecting mirror, an optical crystal assembly, an objective len and a photosensor assembly. These optical components together constitute an optical pick-up head system that generates only a single focus at any one time. When an alternative focus is required, polarized light of an alternative polarization is used for generating a detectable opto-electrical signal for the photosensor.
