An air conditioner includes a first inlet-side inside/outside air switching part, a first outlet-side outside/inside air switching part, a second inlet-side inside/outside air switching part and a second outlet-side inside/outside air switching part. In a dehumidifying heating mode, the first outlet-side inside/outside air switching part makes a switch to a ventilation path that guides air having passed through a first heat exchange part into a space to be air-conditioned, and the second inlet-side inside/outside air switching part makes a switch to a ventilation path that guides outside air to a second heat exchange part. In a defrosting mode, the second inlet-side inside/outside air switching part makes a switch to a ventilation path that guides inside air to the second heat exchange part, and a flow rate of refrigerant flowing through the second heat exchange part is reduced more than in the dehumidifying heating mode.

Air conditioner

A first header tank and a second header tank of a cold-storage heat exchanger are located away from each other. Refrigerant tubes include refrigerant passages through which the first header tank and the second header tank communicate with each other. The refrigerant tubes are spaced away from each other. Cold energy containers storing cold energy storage members are provided to close air passage portions defined between the refrigerant pipes. A region including the air passage portions are separated into a first region including a center part of the region and a second region that is remaining part of the region. A proportion of the cold energy containers in the second region is larger than that in the first region.

Cold-storage heat exchanger

An air conditioner includes a circulation flow channel in which a refrigerant circulates, an evaporator provided in the circulation flow channel to cool air by heat exchange with the refrigerant passing through the circulation flow channel, a first cold storage unit provided in the evaporator at a position adjacent to a tube in which the refrigerant flows in the evaporator, and a second cold storage unit provided in the circulation flow channel at a position different from the evaporator. The first cold storage unit is configured to store therein a first cold storage material which changes in phase by the heat exchange with the refrigerant passing through the tube, and the second cold storage unit is configured to store therein a second cold storage material which changes in phase by the heat exchange with the refrigerant passing through the circulation flow channel.

A regenerative heat exchanger includes a refrigerant pipe, a regenerator, and an air passage fin. The air passage fin is disposed in an air passage defined outside of the refrigerant pipe and the regenerator, and is thermally connected with the regenerator directly or through the refrigerant pipe. At least one of the regenerator and the air passage fin is configured such that a thermal resistance between a part of a regenerative material located on an upstream side and air flowing through the air passage becomes larger than a thermal resistance between a part of the regenerative material located on a downstream side and air flowing through the air passage.

Regenerative heat exchanger

A cold energy storage evaporator is used in a vehicle refrigeration cycle device configured to cool a vehicle compartment. The cold energy storage evaporator includes a refrigerant tube through which a refrigerant flows, and a cold energy storage member that is in close contact with the refrigerant tube, the cold energy container accommodating therein a cold energy storage member configured to freeze due to heat absorption by the refrigerant. A melting point of the cold energy storage member is higher than 11 degrees Celsius.

Cold energy storage evaporator and vehicle refrigeration cycle device provided with same

A vehicle air conditioner includes a refrigeration cycle unit, a heater core, a cool air bypass passage, an air volume ratio regulator, and an auxiliary heat exchanger. The heater core is disposed in a heating passage located downstream of an evaporator with respect to an airflow. The auxiliary heat exchanger is provided in the refrigeration cycle unit. The evaporator includes a cold energy storage. The cold energy storage stores cold energy when the compressor is in operation, and dissipate cold energy while the compressor stops. The auxiliary heat exchanger is located downstream of the evaporator and upstream of the heater core with respect to the airflow. The auxiliary heat exchanger changes enthalpy of refrigerant by heat exchange between the refrigerant and air having been cooled by the evaporator and to be heated by the heater core.

Vehicle air conditioner with auxiliary heat exchanger

There are provided an air-conditioner working fluid for electric vehicle providing sufficient cycle performance in practical use in an electric vehicle, in particular, sufficient cycle performance also in the heating time, while suppressing influence on global warming, and usable without greatly changing an air-conditioner device for a conventional working fluid, for example, HFC-134a or HFO-1234yf, and an air-conditioner working fluid composition for electric vehicle containing the same. The air-conditioner working fluid for electric vehicle contains trifluoroethylene, difluoromethane and 1,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropene, wherein a percentage of a total amount of trifluoroethylene, difluoromethane and 1,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropene with respect to a total amount of the working fluid is more than 90 mass % and 100 mass % or less.

Air-conditioner working fluid for electric vehicle and air-conditioner working fluid composition for electric vehicle

A refrigeration cycle device has a compressor, a radiator, an auxiliary heat exchanger, a decompressor, an evaporator, and an interior heat exchanger. The auxiliary heat exchanger performs a heat exchange between refrigerant and air and causes the refrigerant to radiate heat. The evaporator performs a heat exchange between air and refrigerant after being decompressed in the decompressor before the air is heated in the auxiliary heat exchanger. The interior heat exchanger has a first heat exchanging portion and a second heat exchanging portion and performs a heat exchange between refrigerant flowing in the first heat exchanging portion and refrigerant flowing in the second heat exchanging portion. The first heat exchanging portion is disposed in a refrigerant path between the radiator and the decompressor and is connected to the auxiliary heat exchanger in series. The second heat exchanging portion is disposed in a refrigerant path between the evaporator and the compressor.

Refrigeration cycle device

In a refrigeration cycle device for a vehicle, a weak-inflammability refrigerant that does not ignite at a high-temperature heat source mounted in an engine compartment of the vehicle in a refrigerant single state is circulated in a refrigerant cycle. The refrigerant cycle includes a compressor for compressing and discharging the refrigerant. The compressor includes an oil separator that is located at a refrigerant discharge side of the compressor to separate a lubrication oil from the refrigerant and to return the separated lubrication oil to an interior of the compressor, a shutting portion configured to shut a reverse flow of the refrigerant at a refrigerant suction side of the compressor, and a driving portion located to drive the shutting portion. Furthermore, the driving portion causes the shutting portion to shut the reverse flow of the refrigerant when the refrigerant cycle is damaged.

Refrigeration cycle device for vehicle

A refrigerant flow-amount controlling device for an ejector refrigerant cycle system includes an ejector having a nozzle for decompressing refrigerant of a first stream of a branch portion, a first evaporator for evaporating refrigerant flowing out of the ejector, a throttle member for decompressing refrigerant of a second stream of the branch portion, a second evaporator disposed downstream of the throttle member and upstream of a refrigerant suction portion of the ejector, and an adjusting mechanism having a temperature-sensitive deformation member that is deformed in accordance with a variation in a refrigerant temperature of the cycle system to adjust one refrigerant passage area of the nozzle portion and the throttle means. The adjusting mechanism can be provided to adjust a flow ratio of a refrigerant amount decompressed by the nozzle portion of the ejector and a refrigerant amount drawn into the refrigerant suction port of the ejector.

Refrigerant flow-amount controlling device and ejector refrigerant cycle system using the same

An ejector cycle device includes a compressor that draws and compresses refrigerant, a radiator that radiates heat of high-pressure refrigerant discharged from the compressor, an ejector, a branch passage branched from a refrigerant passage between the radiator and a nozzle portion of the ejector and coupled to a suction port of the ejector, a throttle unit that is arranged in the branch passage and decompresses refrigerant, and an evaporator that is arranged on a downstream side of refrigerant flow of the throttle unit in the branch passage and evaporates refrigerant. Accordingly, even when a suction performance of the ejector is lowered, refrigerant can flow through the evaporator.

Ejector and ejector cycle device

In a heat exchanging apparatus for a vapor compression refrigerant cycle, an internal heat exchanger is attached to an end of a radiator. The internal heat exchanger is arranged such that high-pressure refrigerant passages are closer to the radiator than low-pressure refrigerant passages. The heat exchanging apparatus can be mounted on a vehicle such that the radiator receives cooling air more than the internal heat exchanger. Because the internal heat exchanger performs heat exchange between high-pressure refrigerant and low-pressure refrigerant, performance of the internal heat exchanger is not degraded even if it is located at a part receiving less cooling air. Thus, the heat exchanging apparatus is easily mounted on a vehicle by integrating the internal heat exchanger with the radiator, without reducing a cooling capacity of the radiator.

Heat exchanging apparatus

A gas-liquid separator (accumulator) is arranged at a refrigerant suction side of a compressor of a refrigerant cycle system mounted in a vehicle. The gas-liquid separator includes a gas-liquid separation portion for separating refrigerant into gas refrigerant and liquid refrigerant, and a liquid refrigerant storage portion for storing therein the separated liquid refrigerant. In the gas-liquid separator, the gas-liquid separation portion is arranged approximately vertically, and the liquid refrigerant storage portion is arranged approximately horizontally with respect to the approximately vertically arranged gas-liquid separation portion. Therefore, mounting performance of the gas-liquid separator in the vehicle can be effectively improved while gas-liquid separation can be accurately performed.

Gas-liquid separator for refrigerant cycle system

An air-conditioner includes a compressor, a radiator, an evaporator, an ejector, and a separator. The compressor compresses refrigerant and variably controls an amount of the refrigerant. The radiator cools high-pressure refrigerant. The evaporator cools air blowing into a passenger compartment of a vehicle. The ejector having a nozzle jets the refrigerant at high speed. The separator separates the refrigerant into gas refrigerant and liquid refrigerant. An opening degree of a throttle of the nozzle in the ejector becomes larger so as to increase a cooling performance of the air-conditioner when the amount of the refrigerant discharged from the compressor is smaller than a maximum amount of the refrigerant.

Vehicle air conditioner with vapor-compression refrigerant cycle and method of operating the same

In an ejector refrigerant cycle, even if refrigerant is super-heated in an evaporator, super-heated gas refrigerant does not directly flow into a gas-liquid separator, so that boiling of refrigerant does not occur in the gas-liquid separator due to evaporation of refrigerant in the gas-liquid separator. When an equivalent inner diameter (D) of a tank body of the gas-liquid separator is set in a range of 2 cm&#x2013;6 cm, and when a ratio of a vertical dimension (H) of the tank body to the equivalent inner diameter (D) thereof is larger than 1, a wall thickness of the tank body can be reduced while gas-liquid separation performance in the gas-liquid separator can be improved.
