A motor assembly includes a motor and sealing member fixed to a frame. The motor includes a stator and a rotor. The stator includes a coil holding portion and a first portion with an annular shape and extending radially outward from the coil holding portion. The rotor includes a magnet and a magnet holding portion located in a first space. The first portion has a first surface in contact with the first space, and a second surface on a side opposite to the first surface. A through hole penetrates from the first surface to the second surface in the first portion. The sealing member is disposed on a side of the stator opposite to the rotor, and is fixed to the frame so a second space between the sealing member and the stator does not communicate with an external space other than the first space.

Motor, motor assembly, and air conditioner

An armature coil includes a first portion, a second winding portion, a first winding end, a second winding end, and a crossover portion, and is continuously wound. The first winding portion is concentratedly wound in a counterclockwise winding direction with respect to a direction obtained in viewing a second end portion from a first end portion of a tooth, as it passes from the first winding end to the crossover portion. The second winding portion is concentratedly wound in a clockwise winding direction with respect to a direction obtained in viewing a second end portion from a first end portion of the tooth, as it passes from the crossover portion to the second winding end.

Armature, rotating electric machine, cross-flow fan, and method for manufacturing pair of teeth of armature

A U-phase winding includes four winding portions connected in series between a neutral point and a U-phase input end. A V-phase winding includes four winding portions connected in series between the neutral point and a V-phase input end. A W-phase winding includes four winding portions connected in series between the neutral point and a W-phase input end. These winding portions are arranged annularly around a predetermined location. Directions in which these winding portions are each wound from a first winding end to a second winding end are the same as viewed from the predetermined location.

Armature, rotating electric machine, crossflow fan

A radial gap type rotating electrical machine includes a field and an armature. The field includes a permanent magnet and a magnetic ring which serves as a back yoke of the permanent magnet. The magnetic ring is provided at a position farther from the armature than the permanent magnet, and includes a recess at a magnetic pole center. The magnetic pole center is a center of a magnetic pole in a circumferential direction with respect to a rotation axis. A thickness of the recess in the radial direction around the rotation axis as a center comes to locally thin.

Radial gap type rotating electrical machine, blower, compressor, and air conditioner

Teeth are arranged annularly around a rotation axis. The yoke has through holes. The through holes open in a radial direction around the rotation axis and in an axial direction along the rotation axis. The teeth are inserted through the through holes. A metal plate is arranged to face the yoke in the axial direction. A reinforcing plate is fixed to the teeth.

Armature core

A compressor motor includes a rotor and a stator disposed radially outside of the rotor. The rotor includes a rotor core, and a plurality of magnets circumferentially arranged on the rotor core at center angles of equal intervals. The rotor core has an axial length L and a radial length D. Each of the magnets has a thickness t. L/D &#x3c;0.7, and t&#x3e;(1&#xd7;K&#xd7;N)/(L&#xd7;D&#xd7;P), where P is the number of poles, K is 100000, and N is a factor that depends on a compressor output.

Compressor motor and compressor

A magnetic field element includes magnetic field portions and a coupling portion and is rotatable on a rotation axis along a given direction. Each magnetic field portion includes a magnet and magnetic plates. The magnet includes first and second pole faces having different polarities from each other in the given direction. The magnetic-material plates are provided on the first and second pole faces. The magnetic field portions are annularly arranged along a circumferential direction around the rotation axis and spaced in the circumferential direction from one another. The coupling portion is made of a non-magnetic material and couples the magnetic field portions to one another.

Magnetic field element

A rotor includes a core extending in a predetermined direction, and a plurality of magnets. The core has parts formed by magnetic materials and extending in the predetermined direction. The parts are arranged in a loop around the part, and face the part through gaps. The magnets are buried in the gaps in the form of a loop in the core. The magnets have pole faces extending in the predetermined direction. In each of the magnets, at least one of ends of the magnet protrudes forward in parallel to the predetermined direction with respect to an end of the part that is on the same side with the at least one of the ends of the magnet.

Core, rotor, motor and compressor

A magnetic member with an annular outer periphery and an inner periphery includes first portions and second portions alternately disposed in its circumferential direction. The first portions and second portions are magnetically separated in the circumferential direction by gaps, which block magnetic fluxes from flowing in the circumferential direction between the first portion and second portion. The first portions respectively have holes extending almost in the circumferential direction. The gaps are provided at both ends of the holes in the circumferential direction between the outer periphery and inner periphery. An interior permanent magnet type rotor can be structured by inserting field magnets into the holes.
