A rear vehicle-body structure of a vehicle comprises a wheel house provided at a side face portion of a vehicle-body rear portion, a side frame extending in a vehicle longitudinal direction on an inward side, in a vehicle width direction, of the wheel house, a suspension comprising a damper provided to extend in a vehicle vertical direction for damping a vertical load inputted from a wheel thereto and a bump stopper provided on a shaft center of the damper, and a suspension housing including a support face portion for supporting the damper and provided to connect the side frame and the wheel house, wherein the suspension housing comprises a peripheral wall portion which is provided to extend downward from the support face portion and enclose the bump stopper at least partially.

Rear vehicle-body structure of vehicle

It is an object to obtain excellent suspension performance and effectively enhance steering stability during vehicle turning, with a simple configuration. A vehicle suspension apparatus comprises an upper lateral link () and a lower lateral link () each having one end () swingably mounted to a wheel carrying member () and the other end () swingably supported by a vehicle body, while being installed to extend in a vehicle widthwise direction, and a lower link () having one end mounted to a lower portion of the wheel carrying member () at a position rearward of a rotary shaft of a wheel, and the other end swingably supported by the vehicle body. The one ends () of the upper and lower lateral links () are mounted, respectively, to an upper portion and a lower portion of the wheel carrying member () at positions frontward of the rotary shaft of the wheel. The upper and lower mounting portions each mounting a respective one of the upper and lower lateral links () to the wheel carrying member () are disposed at approximately same positions in a vehicle longitudinal direction in side view. Further, the other ends () of the upper and lower lateral links () are supported, respectively, by an upper portion and a lower portion of a frame memberinstalled to extend in an upward-downward direction in side view.

Vehicle suspension apparatus

Disclosed is a suspension subframe structure of a vehicle, which is capable of improving the overall rigidity of a suspension subframe to effectively receive input loads from suspension arms, while reducing the overall weight of the suspension subframe. The suspension subframe structure for supporting a plurality of suspension armsof a multi-link suspension system comprises first and second lateral memberseach extending in a lateral direction of the vehicle body, a pair of longitudinal members each extending in a longitudinal direction of the vehicle body, and right and left inclined memberseach having one end which is located on the side of a respective one of right and left ends of the first lateral member and provided with an upper-arm support portion and a lower-arm support portion, wherein each of the right and left inclined members extends obliquely relative to the lateral direction in top plan view to connect the upper-arm support portion and the lower-arm support portion with a laterally intermediate portion of the second lateral member.

An automobile front-part structure is provided in which an impact-absorbing member can absorb the impact energy that is given by a bump, whatever bump it is, such as an offset collision and a pole bump. This automobile front-part structure including: a pair of vehicle-body frames which extends in the front-and-rear directions along both sides of a vehicle, and whose front-end parts extend up to the front part of an automobile; and a front sub-frame which is supported with the vehicle-body frames in the front part of the vehicle, and is disposed below the vehicle-body frames, in which the front sub-frame includes: a front sub-frame main-body which has, a pair of right and left side frames which extends in the front-and-rear directions of the vehicle, and a cross member which is formed by a reinforcement and bridges the front parts of the side frames; a pair of right and left impact absorbing members which is formed by a crush pipe, is disposed at the front-end parts of the side frames in the front sub-frame main-body and absorbs impact energy from ahead; and a reinforcement which bridges the front ends of both impact absorbing members.
