An inductor component having such a characteristic property that the assembly of the inductor component can be made simple and the welded state in the inductor component can be made stable. The inductor component comprises a ring-shaped core; a coil which comprises a plurality of pin members, and in which adjacent pin members are connected and are wound around the coil; and a connecting member which connects the pin members adjacent to each other in a direction of an axis of the coil.

Common mode choke coil

An inductor component and a method for manufacturing an inductor component that enables the inductor component to be miniaturized. An inductor component includes an annular core; and a coil including a plurality of pin members and wound on the core with neighboring pin members connected to each other. A first pin member and a second pin member both adjacent to each other have a welded part in which an end face of an end part of the first pin member and a peripheral surface of an end part of the second pin member are welded to each other. A width of a part, of the first pin member, except the welded part is smaller, as viewed from a direction along a center line of the end part of the second pin member, than a width of a part, of the second pin member, except the welded part.

Inductor component and method for manufacturing the same

A common mode choke coil includes a core, and first and second coils opposed to each other and wound on the core. The core can have a square shape, or an elongated shape having a long axis and a short axis when viewed in a direction along a central axis of the core. Each of the first and second coils is a single-layer coil. An area of a cross-section of the core taken perpendicular to a circumferential direction of the core is constant in the circumferential direction of the core. The cross-section of the core has a quadrilateral shape.

An inductor component includes a core having an annular shape; an insulating member that covers a portion of the core; a coil wound around the core and the insulating member; and a buffer member that is elastic. The core has a first face, a second face that crosses the first face, and a third face that faces the second face and crosses the first face. The insulating member is provided to cover the first face, a portion of the second face, and a portion of the third face. The core and the insulating member are bonded to each other with the buffer member interposed therebetween.

Inductor component

An inductor component comprises a ring-shaped core; and a coil wound around the core and comprising wire members each constituting a single turn. Each of the wire members has a first side portion facing an inner peripheral surface of the core, a second side portion facing a first end surface that is one end surface of the core and is located in a direction of a center axis of the core, a third side portion facing an outer peripheral surface of the core, and a fourth side portion facing a second end surface that is the other end surface of the core and is located in the direction of the center axis of the core. At least one of the second and third side portions has a bent portion protruding on the core side, and the first and fourth side portions of adjacent wire members are connected.

An inductor component and a method for manufacturing an inductor component that enables miniaturization of the inductor component. An inductor component includes an annular core; and a coil including a plurality of pin members and wound on the core with neighboring pin members connected to each other. A first pin member and a second pin member both adjacent to each other have a welded part in which an end face of an end part of the first pin member and a peripheral surface of an end part of the second pin member are welded to each other. The welded part is not provided on an outer side edge of the second pin member as viewed from a direction orthogonal to a first plane containing a center line of the end part of the first pin member and a center line of the end part of the second pin member.

An inductor component includes a case; an annular core accommodated in the case; a coil wound around the core; and an electrode terminal attached to the case and connected to the coil. The electrode terminal includes a mounting surface portion that is disposed along an end surface of the core and that is to be mounted on a mount substrate, and a connection surface portion that is perpendicularly connected to the mounting surface portion and that is disposed along an outer peripheral surface of the core. The coil includes a plurality of pin members including a first linear pin member. A connection surface that is a part of an outer peripheral surface of the first linear pin member is in surface-contact with a first main surface of the connection surface portion in a state in which the connection surface is positioned parallel to the first main surface.

Inductor component and method of manufacturing inductor component

An inductor includes an annular core, and a first coil and a second coil which are wound around the core. The core has an internal surface, an external surface, a first end surface, and a second end surface. The first coil and the second coil include a first coil piece having a length of one turn and a second coil piece having a length of one turn. The first coil piece and the second coil piece surround the internal surface, the first end surface, the external surface, and the second end surface of the core. The first coil piece has, at its tip, a joint portion to be joined to the second coil piece, and the second coil piece has, at its tip, a joint surface to be in contact with the joint portion. Thus, the resistance value of the coil is reduced.

Inductor

An inductor component includes a bottom plate portion that includes a first main surface and a second main surface; an annular core that is disposed on the bottom plate portion; a coil that is wound around the core; and an electrode terminal that is attached to the bottom plate portion and electrically connected to the coil. The electrode terminal includes a mounting surface portion configured to connect to a mount substrate. The core is disposed on the first main surface of the bottom plate portion so that an axis of the core intersects the first main surface of the bottom plate portion. The mounting surface portion is exposed on the second main surface side of the bottom plate portion, and at least a part of the mounting surface portion overlaps the core when seen in a direction perpendicular to the first main surface of the bottom plate portion.

A coil component includes an annular core and a first coil and a second coil wound around the core. The first coil and the second coil include first wire members and second wire members. The second wire members have end surfaces and which are brought into contact with side surfaces of first and second joining portions at tips of the first wire members. The first wire members and the second wire members are joined to each other with welding portions between the side surfaces of the first and second joining portions at the tips of the first wire members and the end surfaces of the second wire members interposed therebetween.

Coil component and method of manufacturing coil component

A coil component includes: a core having an annular shape; a coil wound around the core; and an electrode terminal for mounting the coil component. The electrode terminal is connected to the coil and has a mounting surface. The coil is formed by connecting a plurality of wire members. The electrode terminal has a recessed portion indented toward a back surface on a side opposite to the mounting surface. The wire member of the coil is connected to a back surface of a bottom portion of the recessed portion.
